I did it because he was a cute lil boi (and because i was eating kfc at the time) and little did i know, that started my pokemon-loving heart.
So damn chill, I wish I could play this music while playing the original game (in fact it's possible, by cutting the game volume and replacing it by this remix, but I mean play it from the game itself). Indeed, the sound is so pure, and your subtile additions in the background make all the difference compared to the other remixes I've heard at the moment for this theme ⚡️

So, I’ve shown your channel // music to a couple of my friends because of how much I dig your style & technique (expect a few more subs, I told them to tell you I sent them here lol). One of them asked me a question that I couldn’t really answer properly though, and was hoping maybe you could. What genre // sub-genre would you describe your music as? The style changes so drastically from song to song, but overall, what would you categorize your sound as? I grab mp3s of them all and load them onto my car iPod and have been labeling them either Future Bass, or just simply Electro, depending on the song. I’m not sure how sensitive you are to genre labeling or if you couldn’t care less... but thought I’d ask because no BS, it kinda bothered me that I couldn’t give him a proper answer.. lol. I’ve also included a few of your tracks onto mixes // mixtapes (I DJ... but only as a hobby), and since you’re pretty social and actually respond to your commenters, I wanted to ask your official permission before I start posting them here and to SoundCloud // MixCloud. You’re totally credited in the tracklists, of course, and am willing to link to the direct tracks if you’d like. Just wanted to get your opinion before I start uploading them, out of respect. Hey Smokey! Sorry you're having some trouble with classifying my music. Honestly, like you said, it varies pretty significantly by track. When submitting the songs to streaming services, I'm forced to give them a genre and sub-genre classification, and I've been labeling them as Electronica/Downtempo. In reality, that's not entirely accurate for all of my tracks, but my only real concern is that the people who want to listen to the songs are able to find them! As such, I'm perfectly fine with you classifying them in whatever manner you think is most appropriate on a track-by-track basis. As for your re-distribution of songs, I have no problem with that at all! The only thing I ask, like you mentioned, is that I am credited in some way. For preference, a link back to the channel or particular track is nice, too, but not a requirement. Sharing my content with attribution can only help me and, hopefully, you as well, so I would never discourage it!
Also! If you're buying all of the tracks individually anyway, you might consider becoming a patron! Depending on your tier it should be the same price as buying the songs on iTunes and you would get to vote in polls for upcoming tracks! No pressure, just figured it was worth mentioning. ( ＾◡＾)

I already plan on linking your channel in the description, but I was thinking maybe even direct linking to the video of the actual track being used in said mix. I would do that for most remixers, but like I mentioned, you’re the only one I’m actually in legit contact with. Most of the remixes I find and use are uploaded by a fan or a fan channel focused on a certain genre, and not the actual artist // remixer’s channel, and I’m all about supporting the artists. I just don’t want people to think I’m trying to make money off their work, as any uploads I post here to TH-cam will not be monetized in any way. I don’t have a Patreon or anything either, I DJ mostly for myself and use tracks I like, not what’s the latest or the hottest track. In essence, I guess that kinda makes me a bad DJ, lol. But these are for fun, not profit. I’ve been DJing since 2000 - 2001 so I’m in the process of re-recording my first mixes digitally, since they were literally recorded on cassette originally. Once I get the older mixes out of the way I plan on recording my newer and more modern mixes that I’ve been working on these past few years. I’ve only recently acquired the technology to record digitally without it sounding like complete garbage. But regardless, I just wanted you to fully understand, and am totally stoked that you do. And I’m not saying you’ll gain some crazy amount of followers through me or my dumb little mixtapes or anything like that... but I’ll say that some of my favorite artists were discovered through friends of mine, on DJ mixes, etc... and without that small connection, there’s little to no chance that I would have discovered them on my own. It’s all about relationships and connection! I’m also glad you’re not 100% with the genre labeling too, haha... especially since it’s your music! I think that says a lot about your style too, you seem to create what you want or feel, and don’t feel restrained with sticking to the boundaries of a certain sound or genre. That’s awesome... seriously! I only wish I was a Patreon of yours, so I could request for you to remix tracks from video games I actually know and love, like Mega Man X, Super Mario World (that Bowser Castle Remix you did is still by far my favorite upload of yours - as I loved that track originally from playing the game growing up, I was amazed with what you did with it!) Doom 2, Sonic 2, Mortal Kombat 2, blah, as you can see - my taste in video games is rather elderly, I don’t think I got past the Nintendo64... that was the last console I owned and played regularly. This hurts my nostalgia bone I loved oras I remember when I chose mud kip as my first ever starter but my team wasn't the best for "viable online play" it was mixed with legendarys and Pokemon who had tons of weaknesses take latias she was weak to bug and fairy's not mention her own typing (dragon) but some how I managed to power through all the gyms.
