This is what you call talent... I come from a musical family. Back in the day, a song would get recorded with all the band playing, just trying to capture that raw energy that is ROCK AND ROLL. It didn't matter really, because we all had our run at the parties and the clubs so we knew what we wanted to sound like on tape. CHEERS TO ALL WHO LOVE IT LOUD!

Boomer generation ushered in the music we gen Xrs got to enjoy and introduce our kids to. I didn’t play my music for my oldest daughter till she was in her early teens. She grew up on the early to late 2000s music and she did a gymnastics routine to Walk This Way and this sparked her interest so on the way to a basketball game I started playing Poison and Motley crew and Warrant and Skid Row and more, she was blown away. I remember her saying this sounds so cool and I was like.. Yea… your dad’s music rock’s doesn’t it?

I saw them in early 2000s. Pretty good but he couldn't hit those insane notes, but who could? I remember they had a small stage halfway out in the seating area. Partway through their set, they get off the main stage and walk up the aisle, right down the middle of the fans (had security guards) and got on that small stage. We were pretty close to that small stage. That was cool.

I am blessed because I grew up with these guys- Icons & incredible musicians & their bands- Going to indoor & outdoor concerts year around- the shows they put on were unforgettable & totally Blown a way by all the jams! Every song I hear I can date my entire life. I love when these guys add orchestras and such. Just Incredible.❤❤❤
Me like too like to see more people like me 😊
They jut don't make em like that anymore!! Love him! And that orchestra / cello's did an AMAZING JOB!!
Dream On was the very first song I ever recorded on a little cassette player with 5 buttons when I was a kid. I remember thinking this is the most amazing song I’ve ever heard and got emotional but didn’t know why. I still get that same feeling every time I hear the start of it and love it! It’s very moving. Thank you Steven Tyler !
I had that same cassette player!

@@Ole_CornPop too funny!
How does he do it? He’s one of a few rock singers that made it to his 70s without losing the high notes. It’s so sad knowing that when all these rock legends pass on, there is hardly anyone to pass the torch on to. Music today isn’t even in the same competition, let alone the same league.
holy crap, he can still hit those notes! The super high falsetto is even tough as hell to hit, and he did.
OMG I grew up listening to this band. If I didn't buy the record or listen to him on the radio I couldn't hear him. Thank God for you tub. I can't imagine the world without listening to his songs. there is not but a dozen bands that live through the test of time. Thank God I I'm live to listen to this. A true gift to the world.
oh boy what an honour for the 2 cellos to play with steven tyler.!! love all three!
You mean it was honour for Steven Tyler to sing (if you can call this croaking a singing) with 2 Cellos!
Vesna Hill are you fucking kidding me? Steven Tyler is one of the greatest rock vocalists and he sang amazingly and hit the high notes amazingly too. The dude sang like this in his late 70s!!! I can't imagine 2 Cellos performing like this at his age.
@@nishchalthakur2487 1, cello skill isn't age related, my grandmother is still playing at 92. 2, Steven isn't even near his late 70s. 3, Steven can't push out notes like he used to, that's natural with age
@@vesnahill444 yes i thought 2 cellos were absolutely wasted here, but they do like to collaborate with successful artists, they are young and i have heard them say in interviews they always learn something from such collaborations
Stepan Houser is one of the cellos player( left) ...fantastic
Who knows the other cello's player?
We are so blessed to live in a time where music and video are being saved forever.
What a nice and true comment
I had Mozart on an old Beta from 1763. It's somewhere in the attic.
Aren't we totally blessed?! I'll be listening to Steven long after he's gone... And I'm so incredibly grateful.
Very underrated musician Mr Tyler. A true mastermind. Long live Aerosmith 😊
Man is almost 70 years old. Thats insane.
TheMrCatDogRabbit yes. But he dont know how to use a shovel or a screw driver!
he don't need to
Fernando Zarzoza Barraza
I know how to use a shovel and a screw driver, but I can't sing. 😀
It is good, that not everybody has the same talent.
I know how to use a shovel and screw driver and I would hope I could look that good and still do anything so well at 70. I think he could still pick up the ladies, well at least the older ones.
Coolest 70 yr old ever!
steven tyler's transformation in capn' jack sparrow is almost complete
Nicolò Ferrari finally someone sees they have similarities
ummm...I believe captain Jack wanted to be Steven tyler
Nicolò Ferrari this comment! Lmao!
Jack Sparrow was made from Keith Richards
i thought "that real jack sparrow"
My grandfather was from Calabria! Maybe his family knew mine! Always a fabulous performance. A legend right here! ❤
Only one thing missing for it to be absolute perfect, the drums. Not the same without 'em. Steven still got it! Perfect performance!!
Steven Tyler. He’s like a fine wine. He gets better with age.❤️
he's amazing, one of the few musicians who can sing with no backup or autotune bs.
Can you count how many musical boundaries this man has crossed with his song, walk this way? The true power of music
BRAVA !!
I count 1
This is a glorious performance: Steven Tyler, 2 Cellos, chorus! Wow!!! Amazing!
I was 17 when Steven came to life . I adore every minute of him.
This man is 69 years old. Sixty nine years old. Impressive.
Fuck him, a month after this he canceled the whole sudamerican gig with no excuses. Been a fan for decades, but he shit on us.
Stanislas ANDRE I love the way you say 69
Ferra T it was because of Joe not Steven. Heart issues so F you.
Nice.
@@FJFerra When shit hits the fan in life you gotta go with it or be left behind.
Steven Tyler and 2 cellos. I'm in heaven.
Amy Evans omg same
Amy Evans wow
Lose the sopranos and we got a deal.
knock knock knocking on heavens doors??? XD I had to
Check out 'Dream On' with Slash.
One of the all-time rock n roll voices
I wish I had a fraction of the style Steve Tyler exudes so effortlessly
His father was a concert pianist a proud moment with Bocelli no doubt.
think the best part of the video is when Steven Tyler came out and stuck his gum on the underside of the grand piano lol, classic
When your him you can do that. That entire roster could have done anything they desired and why? Well because they are so damn legendary that you need to be yourself when invited to play THE ROMAN COLOSSEUM. The only venue that has close to that kind of clout is Wembley...Maybe?
Oh yeah! A Classic meets classical! Great Blend!🥰
One of the most powerful music videos ever ( Coliseum). Thank you Steven Tyler! You have given tremendously to this planet.
2 Cellos killing it.........as ALWAYS..........
oh and LOOK !
Steven Tyler is there! :D
How strangely coincidental... lol. KDM
I’m a 73 year old lady and WOW just had to share this with my kids and grandkids cause how can beat a concert in the ancient Coliseum in Italy. Steven Tyler, a whole orchestra, a choir , two awesome cello players and two great rock songs BRILLIANT!!!
Keep rockin hun 😎🙌🙌
WOW. Spectacular in so many ways. VERY COOL that they're able to use the Colosseum for shows. Steven Tyler just doesn't disappoint.
I didn't even know the man played piano! A true talent and wonderful man.💕
love the introduction how Steven talks about his father and his Italian roots..great performance at a breathtaking location..the orchestra and the 2 cello' s amazing as always, makes it complete!at the end:signore Tallarico:"Scusi"😉♥️♥️🎵🎶🎙🎹🎻🔝

been an Aerosmith fan since the 70s we played Get Your Wings album..on cassette tape.. over and over on a huge boom box blasting it with tons of us teens hanging out. Never knew Steven Tyler had Italian roots. A fellow paisano and pure rock legend. Thank you for great lifelong memories of a great time I wish I can go back to.
@@ps_nyisgone I do too. The 70's was a wonderful time to grow up in America. I wish the youth of today could grow up when I did. They would never worry about cell phones and technology. My generation was so much happier and at peace than now.
Three musicians with EXTRAORDINARY talent!
This is amazing. His voice and 2cellos!! Yeah amazing!!
Steven Tyler , you´re a master .It's beautiful how he sings..it drives me crazy ""dream on"" And he sings better than when he was young
Age has no effect on his talent. God bless him.
Lovely. Great and. Beautiful. Actress. .".
Yes it did
he doesnt follow his own rythm.... poor guy, stop when you still can
I am always amazed that he made it after all the hard core substance abuse. Gotta love recovery!
His voice resembles wine, the older-the tastier..
This guy is a legend! One of the best vocalists of all time.
Rock N ́Roll is the music heard by god his stage performance is epic. Only Michael Jackson packs more entertaining class i guess. But this guy have the most swag on stage.
A legend in his own time. David Bowie, Mick Jagger and Tyler Perry are the top of the charts. Geniuses
Me siento en otra dimensión o en otro mundo cuando escucho esta canción de Steven Tyler. Es un maestro del Rock!!!
👏👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️
I grew up loving Steven Tyler/Aerosmith.
I wish they would have given more acknowledgment to the two cello players.
They were both very enthusiastic about it.
There is another version of this song with The Southern California Children’s Chorus. Real good!
I believe it was in tribute to the Boston Marathon tragedy.
BOSTON STRONG!
The two cellos are awesome and so passionate
So do Tyler
Clearity and Roughness in his voice is on another level
Clarity too.
@@jwillis562 thanks but believe it I did tried to write it in right spelling but couldn't do it, thanks English teacher
What a classic performance from Steven
Love him still rocking at 74 ! Rock on always Steven Tyler !
And he looks beautiful at 74 but I don’t like the choir and all those musicians and the cello’s I’ve seen him perform this tune many times I don’t like this version but I like the atmosphere
Steven Tyler is a legend! I love how passionate 2CELLOS are, playing alongside him 🙏
@@steventyler4588 You are legendary !
The cellos are amazing...Steve is electrifying...man...u rock
Those guys rock so fucking hard. Literally every one of their videos, you can see their bows blowing out strings cuz of how aggressively they play. What a delight to see such concentrated talent in one place!
Alguém pode dizer o nome da segunda música???
0:15 he sticks a cheewing gum under the piano :D absolute mad lad !!

He's absolutely amazing
Unbelievable !!
The strength of Steven's voice even after so many years of singing with such intensity simply amazes me. He's extremely talented and very humble. Love him so much. 💐🙏🏽❤️
Kocham jego głos... szkoda ze nie nigdy nie mogłam być na tak wspaniałym koncercie. Marzenie
Any 70' guy as cool as him. Every move he made, Rock legend
He’s still got it. Tyler is a very talented individual. I hope he’s doing well these days. He’s a rock and roll treasure.
I never listened to Aerosmith as a kid. Boy did I ever miss out on some kick ass music.
I say the same thing. I just saw them last week at Fenway Park!!!! Blew me away!.could be there last concert ever!!
Me too.
I've seen Tyler do these songs hundreds of times. This is definitely going to be the most memorable. Bravo Steven. I should probably not admit this...damn he's a good looking dude.
Still an absolute kickass singer. Dream on always gives me goosebumps
Seeing this legend, "Steven Tyler" reminds me with Ronnie Radke, a singer, a pianist, and a very talented songwriter too. Next, I would like to see 2CELLOS with Ronnie Radke too.
I saw Aerosmith back in the 80s six times when the drugs flowed from the mic stand. This is a beautiful recovery I could not be more impressed.
79' Day on the Green #3. Ya they were feelin' just as good as I was. It appeared to be more of a "Purple Haze" over the coliseum.(Oakland) Kinda symbolic to see him at il Colosseo 38 years later. Who can say they played both?! The Oakland Coliseum is based on il Colosseo.(Went there in 1994)
