Remedy from a chinese doctor who treated my antibiotic resistant friend suffering from an aggressive uti: Finally chop a whole celery bunch, add to a medium size pot of water, simmer for an hr or two the longer the better, top with water if necessary. If I'm home when suffering I keep on simmer for a few hours. Drink this tea throughout the day (several cups), does not taste bad at all, along with lots of water. My symptoms usually disappear in 12 hours or so but keep drinking for at least 24, ideally 48 hours. Works a treat everytime.
All I know is that a couple of years ago while in a nursing home taking stroke rehab I developed a RACKING cough, disturbing the whole ward. Then my blood pressure dropped dangerously low and i started talking in a very confused way and I vomited. Next thing I knew I woke up in intensive care with absolutely NO MEMORY of the paramedics in my room/being loaded into the ambulance/the ride to the hospital/arriving in the ER/being taken to intensive care. Turns out I had pneumonia and had to have IV antibiotics as well as meds to raise my blood pressure. A pulmonary doctor diagnosed me with sepsis. i also have an immune deficiency called hypogammaglobulinemia and was over 60. It was the 3rd shift nurse at rehab who called 911. I was very ill and in the hospital about a week and a few more weeks in rehab until my lung cleared. I owe my life to that nurse, and here we are years later and I still have absolutely no memory of the whole event, which is something I should probably be grateful for.
The worst are the bladder spasms...having to urinate every 10 min. How do you get them to go away? I can't sleep more than 2 hrs....bladder wake me up.
