- It’s another Aldi food shopping haul and we’ve got a £100 budget for our family of four. This is week three of my low spend month and so far it’s going well but this week I have my little helper with me which usually means my well money saving plans descend into chaos.
I am in a mission to spend less on groceries but I was shocked because I think this is the LEAST I’ve EVER spent at Aldi on a weekly food shop - find out how in this UK mum vlog!

Great video. You’ve inspired me to do a meal plan and Aldi shop today, we’re a family of 4 with a 1 and a 2 year old. Most of our food shop is kids snacks 😂
Ahh thanks for stopping by to chat! I do love an Aldi shop but I definitely find that planning is the key to keeping it under control!
We do a full total budget. So £700 for the month for 2 adults and 3 children. Seems a lot but includes all bath stuff, cleaning supplies, pull ups etc also :)
How old are your kids out of curiosity? The household stuff definitely adds up!!

Most of our food shop is husband snacks tbh. We need to eat better too.
Budget meal we make often is tomato pasta, we mix sliced southern fried chicken goujons into it but you could use a Quorn version.
In terms of work lunches I find for me I make a batch of something and have it for the week so I dont have to think. Latest one is rice, veg, satay sauce (technically a dipping one from Aldi but I water it down) and I add chicken in (could use any substitute or just extra veg) it's delicious :)

We just have a ‘grocery’ budget, £450 a month 3adults 1 child, 1 cat, like you, this includes all household stuff & toiletries x

We have a totally separate debit card for groceries, so just easier, as all our household, toiletries we buy in supermarket too x
My budget for food is £120 my everything else budget is £30 and that does include hair dye, £12 a week bus ticket and I've been trying to eat more fresh fruit and veg and trying new things.
