I’m hoping decluttering will help with my self esteem. I’m holding on to things that does not make me feel beautiful or constantly reminding myself of where I’m at weight wise. I want radical self love to also reflect in my home environment, especially my closet.

    Yes! Less is more!
The emotional healing that often occurs with decluttering is also huge benefit - if we can finally sit w the hard feelings memories stuck/trapped in our stuff we process them and free them from the items and from within ourself. It can be extremely challenging journey but the reward is gaining your authentic present life back🎉❤

Decluttering has bought me a peace of mind and less stress; especially when I can now open my closet to get dressed each morning. This was a project I did this past weekend; letting go of future self and my old style that sat in hangers being pushed over each day to find the items that fit me and look good.

Thank you for this video. I decluttered some years ago and managed to keep things that way for quite a while (and it definitely had huge benefits) but in recent years I've really felt things creep back. Currently on my journey to decluttering again and working on my mindset around things too, and these reminders and especially the questions at the end were so helpful! Thanks again! ✨

I had the same conversation with my partner, after shock diagnosis I said house is not big enough we need to move, he said too much stuff or, I need to clean more (he's blind,he lost his sight over night). So I systematically went through the whole house. It looked and felt great. He didn't keep falling over thinks, and I felt like I could keep up with the daily demands of me. However, 1 year later, I noticed stuff creeping back in, and my negative thoughts returned, so I have had to start an intentional declutter routine into my daily routine. I didn't fully realise the impact of the amount of belongings that we aquire as on our mental health, I know I can never have a cluttered house again.

Thanks for sharing your experience and for the thought provoking questions for reflecting. Can't wait to see more content.
I have decluttered a lot but struggle with letting go of certain types of things because I homeschool my 3 kids and when I have decluttered I often kick myself for getting rid of things I could have used, but it's also so much to manage.

Thank you so much for this video. I'm moving my belongings into a storage Pod at the end of this month and I've been praying to the Lord to give me strength to let go of things. I needed to hear your message today. I like the way you communicate and also hope to see more messages from you. May God Bless you and your family. 🙏💓

Be aggressive getting rid of stuff before your move. I assume you’re moving. We made the mistake of not getting rid of enough before our last move and paid for a large storage unit for four years, just to end up dumping half of what we’d stored when we finally were done with the storage unit! What a waste of time and money!!

    • @simplehappy7025

Great question! I started with easy things and worked from there. (Hobby items, and sentimental items came very last) but we would make multiple passes through each area of our home, getting rid of a little more each time. We kept at it until we were comfortable with the amount of things left. Eventually we reached the maintenance phase where not as much decluttering was needed. I will say, decluttering never really ends, as I still have to make regular passes through my house and I still have to be mindful of what comes in. Good luck, it sounds like you’re on the right track!

you are a great! I like how you deliver your message, and your content! I've been on a decluttering journey for years, and I go in fits and starts. I realize it is my buying and my habits of being frugal, meaning excuses of this is good , I might use it again, or damn it I paid so much for this, just to give it away! So thanks for the encouragement and I happy for you and your family that your feel more at peace and content!
