That idea with the square is brilliant haha, I am at this step and didn't want to buy one of those 150$ pinion shim gauges

I had the same setup installed in my 10 bolt and there's something wrong. When you jack up the rear wheels and move the tires, it clunks back and forth. Something is wrong I am guessing. I think the guy screwed it up

I checked it the next day before I put the cover back on and I did have to shim it around a little to get it right.
