It is an echo chamber. It only collects the work that we do. Uses the history that we create. If it creates on its own completely independent of our past work that would be very strange and frightening. If such creation is possible, to create independent of our past work. But i fear more the destruction of our cultural expansiveness watering down our creativeness.

Imagine thinking this is a new thing. They have been using ai and super computers for everything for years.

Thankfully We do not have real AI yet

Dream on. That will never happen, as a computer is just a tool....even if it's creators are playing with things they don't fully understand . God/dess is within and without of human beings - all of nature, not machines.

Thats partly true and partly not. We are machines, just ones that are made out of even more tiny self-replicating nanomachines. What we can do is what a machine is doing, but the so called tools are not limited by the slow laws of evolution, they can upgrade and advance themselves infinite times faster than biological self replicating macines we are and become Godly beings. But this also doesn't mean we can't merge with this technology, instead of letting it stand for itself, and become the God ourselves surpassing the chains of biological limitations on our vessels.

You are aware we are just machines ourselves aswell right? A computer if advanced enough to be sentient it could surpass us infinitely fast beacuse we are chained by our slow evolution while a machine, it does not have to obey to any biological laws that carbon based self-replicating machines like us obey to.

@@zeph6439 We are just a collaboration of biological nanomachines. Smiple things coming together to create convoluted things is very common in this universe. Of course, I would kill to have a non biological body. Biological life is weak and can't even improve thyself to omnipotent scales without artificial replacements.

@@mewhenthe5329 Seven of Nine often said that the Borg were always seeking for perfection. Yet in Nature, everything is designed perfectly already, as everything is interconnected and all rely on each other to make a living.
Now AI was created by human beings and not by Spirit. It really has got feet of clay - say a random meteor landed and all the lights went out over Denmark, for example... and wide open to incorrect and dangerous programming. In this regard, the tendency of more recent humans to weaponize every new gadget makes it a potential threat to our collective future. Who in their right mind would create something that is potentially capable of exterminating them too?
So is AI, God? On the above basis I tend to disagree. But hey, good luck with those new implants - maybe you could be like any other member of the Collective one day, and then, there wouldn't be much scope anymore for friendly chats on TH-cam..
