Eat whole foods everyday. Dont eat anything that comes in a tin or box, just stick to things that aren’t processed, sugared, heavy in carbohydrates and heavily salted. Try to space out portions. The carbs and sugars make you crave food faster/more intense. Hope that helps! God bless you on your fasting journey!

Weight training can have a huge impact on weight loss and doing it right only takes 20-30 minutes every other day or two days then off. As always prayer is your number one weapon against anything this world throws at you. God bless and I will be keeping you in my prayers, peace be with you.

Why Did God Create Hell?
If it is God's sincere desire that everyone come to know Him why did He create hell in the first place? Why make a place of judgment for humanity?
The Bible teaches that God did not create hell as a judgment for humanity. God created hell for the punishment of the devil and his angels and not as a place for human beings to suffer. Jesus said:
Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels' (Matthew 25:41).
Hell was created as a place of judgment for Satan and those who followed him in their rebellion against God. The Bible says that the devil and his angels will eventually be consigned to hell:
And the devil who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever (Revelation 20:10).
Human beings, who are created in God's image, are not meant to spend eternity away from the presence of God. The place God created for them is heaven. Jesus spoke of this place that God has prepared for those who trust Him:
In My Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also (John 14:2,3).
Hell was not created for humanity, but it is the destination for those who reject God's salvation in Jesus Christ.
Why Would a God of Love Send People to Hell?
Some people wonder how hell can be reconciled with a God of love. Why, they ask, would a God of love allow people to go to hell?
God of Justice
The answer to this question is that God is a God of holiness and justice as well as a God of love. These moral attributes are complementary, not contradictory. When the laws of God are disobeyed there must be a judgment. God's laws demand that sin must be paid for. God can still love someone but He cannot allow sin to go unpunished. This is the reason that Jesus Christ came to earth, to die for the sins of the world.
Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many (Matthew 20:28).
The emphasis should not be placed upon hell but by the fact that God came to earth in the person of Jesus Christ to show His love for mankind:
For when we were without strength in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:6-8).
God has showed His love by sending His Son to die for our sins -- to take our punishment -- so that we could go to heaven. The judgment of hell is for those who refuse to accept God's love and forgiveness.
Will God Send People to Hell?
The Bible speaks about a place of final judgment for those who do not believe in the salvation provided by Jesus Christ. This place is known as hell. It is not a geographical place, but a state of existence. Jesus spoke of it as a place of eternal punishment.
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment... (Matthew 25:46).
Final Judgment
In the Book of Revelation the Apostle John wrote concerning a final judgment of the wicked:
And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and the books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books... And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:12,15).
The reality of a final judgment is clearly taught in Scripture. But the Bible also indicates that the people who go to hell do so because they have rejected God's provision for salvation. The Bible says that God does not want anyone to go to hell:
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

A nurse told me to fast 4 hours before going to bed, and see how that effected my (Type 2) diabetes morning sugar level. The first morning of doing that, sugar levels were lower. Within the first year I lost 82 pounds, was off diabetic, high blood pressure AND cholesterol meds!
My mom complemented me on my discipline (wishing her boyfriend had that discipline) and had I to tell her, I didn't posses that kind of discipline "God helped me" and that's a fact.
P.S. I also quit all forms of soda, no diet sodas either. Imo, high fructose corn syrup should be banned, as it is in other countries.

I appreciate anyone who can say a prayer for me. I need prayers for a better paying job opportunity. I recently got laid off in November, I was making enough money to pay my bills and mortgage. I'm a single mother and receive no child support. I found another job quickly which I am so grateful for, but I took it because it was more than unemployment, I still don't make enough to make ends meet. So I'm praying deeply for a better job opportunity so I can be financially stable. Thank you for everyone's prayers.

Fasting cleanses the body of chemicals it’s good to fast once in a while 🙏👍

Fasting also cleans the body of toxins and waste and allows the body to focus on healing because it isn't using up so much energy on digestion. We say no to the flesh and yes to the spirit. Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

With regards to your question, don't let it be obvious that you are fasting and if they still notice ,you can just answer them why you fast, usually when I fast it's to hear God more when I read the Scriptures, asking God for help/advice, sacrificing pleasure to show I am devoted to Him by willfully denying myself of food. Now I don't know how to answer how long you fast since I only do it once a week because I work in a physically demanding job and don't want to collapse due to lack of energy. Just answer them truly why you do it but don't tell them the specifics of it , if it is personal or confidential.

Something amazing also happens when you fast, your body goes through a chemical process of removing impurities and excess waste, that doesn't always happen when your constantly eating and it's being stored as fat! Basically your body is healing itself, especially when we eat unhealthy food!

@@celestehellbusch01 you can just say you fast to get closer to God. Or to maximize your prayers. You can just keep it short and simple. And then maybe if they want to know more, you can direct to a good resource. Lisa Bevere says a lot of good things about fasting for example! Also watched a really good today of a girl on TH-cam talking about her fasting testimonies. It’s titled something like “fasting changed my life.”

@@Gamefan86 I've had personal miracles happen in my life, so I know that God is real. They are not imagined miracles, I've felt it in my body while being in a poor health, and this was at home with no medicine being used, so it's not as if I mistook medicinal effect for God's miracle. Another tome I asked God to help me with my gut health, and from 12:00 am to 12:24 am I felt something like an energy rod going from my brain to my anus, possibly the brain-gut axis. There was no pain, only healing.

I've fasted the last 2 Wednesday's...I'm not quite sure as to why...I just decided one day a week to give something back to God and this popped into my head...it's easier than I thought it would be...not saying it's easy by any means but with the help of God and the Holy Spirit I'm getting it done...
If you are going to fast, please use pink salt, potassium and magnesium in your water so that your muscles and heart can contract properly. Started getting heart murmurs during a long fast once, my doctor told me about magnesium and electrolyte balance.

@@sugaashow no, but water from a natural spring will have these electrolytes in them. Bottled water or distilled water will have very low concentration on no mineral content at all. Safety should be your first concern while fasting. In serious cases you can go into keto acidosis and go into liver failure. So yes most likely.

My personal experience, was that after fasting for 3days no food no water, in a dream i have pulled octopus leg out of my head, which is jezabel stronghold, and just to say i had such urge in my spirit to do so, i also had another dreams but this one i had only lately i got revelation...i praise the Lord Jesus for his mercy

The true fast is when you are so immersed in the Word of God that hours and days pass and you simply forget to eat. That is true communion and true sustenance.

I'm born and raised in a Buddhist counrty. But, long story short. I have encountered with God supernaturally and I give my life to Jesus in 2020. After my converting, I have so many battles with the unholy ghosts. I was so afraid when the first time happened. But, it eventually wore out.
What I'm trying to say is that when we have a camping for drug addicts and stuff in the summer, those unholy ghost try to attack me and I didn't know it at first. One day, from inside my stomach, this little digested food came through out my mouth. It is like vomiting. But, it was without my will. And I was completely healthy. But when it became frequently I had my doubts that the demonic beings are trying to attack us.
Fast forward, Me and three other people who went to the camping pray like this. "God, we feel that the unholy ghosts are trying to attack us and try to interfere with what you are doing through us. And if it is true and if You are willing, please make me to not eat food and vomit, in Jesus name." That was around 3-4 pm. After that, we take a bath and it was time for dinner. I sat on my dinner table, I think to myself if I had made a mistake. But, when our elder guy pray for our food. I began to vomit right then and there. I mean, not on the table. I had to run outside. So, me and my three friends were all satisfied with our prayer.
But, around 6-7 pm I realized something and I felt like I was an idiot because we don't ask God how many times or days do I have to fast if it was necessary. So, I panicked. But, I kind of heard and saw this word at the same time. "7", "7". I felt like the number was put in the central area of my brain. And I was like what's that supposed to mean.
The next day, the elder guy felt bad for me not eating anything so that he and his wife tried to give me some bread and coffee. When they enter our room, I can smell the coffee and I began to vomit straight away. They didn't understand what I was going through and they tried just like that again for two or three time. But, no I can't eat it. I only drink water at that time.
In the third night of my fast, the unholy ghosts try to attack all four of us in my dream, but that being particularly watch me and he took my hand. I woke up suddenly then and my whole body schook. I heard this again like I heard the number "7" before. God commanded me to say, "Hallelujah" three time. I ignored it and tried to sleep. It was around 2-3 am I think. But I can't sleep anymore and I was so fed up. At long last, I sat on my bed and shout Hallelujah three time. By the time I shout for the second time, God commanded me to shout "Hallelujah" for seven times.
Me being me, I said to God, "To be fair, You only command me to shout for three times in the first place. I would not do it for seven times. Plus, I'm not sleeping alone. My friends are sleeping in the same room on different beds. I might wake them up. So, I will not do it." And began to sleep peacefully.
On the fourth day of my fast, around 12 pm I think I felt really hungry like never before and I want to eat something. So, around 2 pm I eat some food and I felt completely fine. No vomit this time now. And then, I realized the number 7 and I counted how many days I have fast. I fast for 4 Lunch times and 3 dinner times. So, 4+3 = 7 On that day, I only realized what the number 7 meant.
What I'm trying to say is that fasting is great for the spirit and the work is done supernaturally. I'm not trying to show off of anything. But, I feel the urge to share what I have experienced. Somebody might find it useful.

My Abba Father blessed me with divine health, HE blessed me and my family with everything what we need, when I fall HE lift me up, HE fulfil my heart desires, wherever I go He is always with me, when I made mistakes and I repent HIS loving arms are always open for me to comfort me, people disappointed 😞 me but GOD never ever disappoint me. Right I did once fasting when starts putting oil in your forehead. I tried not to eat meat. Until when Jesus alive on Easter sunday on my own choice. Because Im getting old Im survived eventhought fell dizzy that time. But Lord Jesus is with me all the time.😁🙏🙏🙏

Fasting is something we do as Christians to suppress our flesh so that we can focus more on our spirits, and our relationship with God. You don't have to fast to get God's attention, but you you do fast to help your spirit man grow in your relationship.
The idea of fasting predates Christianity. Muslims also fast. The ancient Egyptians fasted and never heard of the Christian god.

In my experience when fasting and the thought of food crosses my mind it turns my nose toward God. further experience shows me the same thing works when the spirit of fear comes upon you. allow it to turn your nose towards God in the same way that hunger does when you are fasting and you will conquer fear. Both of them come in the same place in your belly

Fasting is a very important act that all Christians should participate in. You deprive yourself of what your body needs to keep going. When fasting you basically are saying, “God I am going to deny myself any food to sustain me, because you are more important then the fuel my body needs. Only you can sustain me.” Also when you fast you should read your Bible and constantly be in prayer, because in this time you can really grow closer to God, it’s a time to grow spiritually. If you don’t you’re basically just going on a diet. A true Biblical fast is no food at all but you can also do other types of fasts like a Daniels fast or fast from different things. You aren’t attracting God during this but you are drawing closer to Him and showing Him how important He is to you.

Fasting is very good for sugar levels in the blood.If you truly want to be healthy do a 24 to 36 hour fast 2 to 3 times a week. You will get great results. The body was not designed to eat 3 meals a day, everyday. Self denial is the way to super health.

I've been getting better and healthier and it's not easy for me because I'm still pacing myself and it's been good and I went without anything but lemon water for 2 days and it wasn't as bad and so I know it's a good thing for me and I also changed my diet and no soda and caffeine... Wasn't easy for me and it's not an overnight thing and it's pace yourself and it will follow 💯✌️

Fasting is a tool used to master the appetites of "the flesh" !!! If you master hunger which is the most powerful thirst of the flesh (through fasting and praying) then the rest of your vices should be easier to tame ! It's a tool to strengthen you spiritually, of self mastery and discipline available to everybody !

Many things to fast from and sacrifice for God not only just food but it does help when dealing with stubborn parasitic type demonic issues. Long story... but certain contrary or unholy, low vibrational entities even possibly internally within us thrive on 'the altar of self' and fulfillment of fleshly desires. You can also do sacrifices of praise and worship or refrain from doing or using something you like for awhile. But The Lord said obedience is better than sacrifice and that if we love Him we will obey His laws and standards. Even Yeshuah mentioned to the disciples that this one(demon of affliction) only comes out through prayer and fasting. 3 days, 7, 21 days a Daniel fast or dry fast a water fast. Try them all and let your faiths have works make it come alive. God cares and will surely deliver and rescue us. He will provide. Give thanks and be grateful always. HALLELUJAH & AMEN

Honestly myself believes and knows that the holy angels arguably got the best bodies spiritually in and above this universe, because the angels do not get sick, they are immortal, they do not catch diseases, they are wiser than humans, and more powerful than humans, and the angels that are holy do not sin so to speak. Also holy angels do not get tired either.
Yet the angels were jealous of humans as Gods divine creations. Because only we as humans, were created in His image.

The longer you go without food the more God will like you. If you can go a whole year without food you are guaranteed to get into heaven.
Actually God loves us the same amount, if we stumble or do good deeds! That's why we Christians are always trying to do good, because we know that God couldn't love us even more than He already does!

A year without food, you be dead. Fasting is mostly for spiritual growth, Jesus loves you even before you ever fasted and you get into heaven by accepting Jesus as your personal Savior and obeying His Word. God bless
Exactly what is fasting . Sun up till sundown ? Or complete fasting for a few days at a time?
It depends on the duration one wants to go. Whether 1 hr, or 24hrs if one can. But along with prayers. It helps.
Biblically, it seems to usually be abstaining from all food for a certain period of time. 1 day, 3 days, 14 days, and 40 days are all examples.
There are also a few examples where fasting included abstaining from all food and water.
There is also the example from Daniel in the book of Daniel where his fast was limiting himself to basically water and vegetables for 21 days (not a set time - he went until he was visited by the angel from God). No rich or pleasant foods.
Daniel 10:2-3 "In those days I, Daniel, was mourning for three weeks. 3 I ate no delicacies, no meat or wine entered my mouth, nor did I anoint myself at all, for
the full three weeks."
