Peach Mango Pie Jollibee Copycat |Using Air Fryer | So Much Better

  • A crispy golden crust they look a lot like the McDonalds pie, but they're so much better.
    If you’ve ever been to Jollibee, then you’ll know just how addictive these pocket pies are
    This is the easy version using ready-made puff pastry sheets.
    As soon as you bite into the pie, you’ll taste a tropical, sweet filling made up of mangoes and peaches, that makes you want to come back for more.
    And that is guaranteed!
    Fillings:
    2 sliced/cubed riped mango
    3 tbsp white sugar
    1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
    1/4 tsp nutmeg powder
    1 tspbfresh squeeze lemon
    2 tbsp peach syrup
    In a large skillet put 2 tbsp peach syrup, 3 tbsp sugar and sliced mango stirring occasionally until lightly browned over medium heat.
    Add sliced peach reduce heat to low and stir in cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder and lemon juice. Continue to simmer, stirring occasionally until mango and peach are soft and caramelized then add slurry cook for another 3 min
    Let it cool for a few minutes
    1 roll of puff pastry, divide into 8
    Cut 1-inch wide lits down the center of the pastry to create vents.
    Arrange apples in a tight row lengthwise down the middle of one puff pastry sheet leaving a small border on all sides. Brush beaten white egg around the edges of the pastry.
    Fold the pastry sheet and press down on the edges to seal using a fork.
    Brush the pastry with egg white and sprinkle the top with sugar & cinnamon mix.
    Air fry at 180˚C for 10 minutes or then 5 minutes on the other side in 200˚C
    Is Peach Mango Pie healthy?
    This recipe is slightly different than the original from Jollibee, since it's baked in the oven rather than deep-fried.
