I actually really like the Rare Beauty cream blush! It’s easier for me to use than their liquid blush (although I only tried a sample of the liquid, not a full size). I find the cream blush really hard to mess up which I appreciate since I’m always trying to get ready fast.
I have the same problem as Jess with this blush. It picks my foundation up and moves it around really bad no matter what I do. How do you guys apply this where you don't have this happen? I love the color I got.

I love that bareminerals concealer as a spot concealer or light color corrector instead of foundation and it’s super creamy so it blends well for that purpose!

I loved this video. Why oh why did Bare Minerals discontinue the gen nude eye shadow palettes and replace them with sub-standard ones. It’s so frustrating. I miss the rose gen nude palette.
If you have a non-porous mortar and pestle, you can re-emulsify liquid and loose cream products in that. Or a mulling tablet and flat bottom pestle, which are used to emulsify paints.

About the rare beauty blush, I am oily AF and I got 2 because I’m a sucker for the packaging.. 🙈 I tried them before powdering and they didn’t apply good whatever I tried. Same as you! But then … One day I just tried it áfter I powdered my face, and it looked ama-zing !!! This is just a cream blush that works best on a powder base, I’ve heard this from some other YT’ers too .. 🥰 Xo
What I like to do with those Makeup By Mario highlighters is to take Bronzite on its own and apply it liberally to my eyelids. Brown eyeliner, mascara, and it's the softest, prettiest, easiest look This technique works well with any sparkly/shimmery/metallic shade that's close to your skin tone. It can be more bronze-y, pink, gold, whatever, but it needs to be closer to your skin tone than not
I love the rare beauty melting blush! Only when it’s on a no makeup makeup day tho - no foundation or anything just on skincare! A lot of cream blushes I find I don’t love on just skincare and that one works! But I can see why you’d hate it in foundation
I feel the same way about that Bare Minerals palette (the one in Sunlit). I bought the same one you did and found it so disappointing. I had a difficult time getting it to work for me and I am not hard to please with shadow either. This palette is a great example of why swatches mean nothing. This palette swatches fairly well but on my eyes I couldn't get it anywhere close. As much as I hate to do it, this one is going to have to go into my declutter bag.
One thing I hate about beauty products nowadays is how it seems like everything has to be attention grabbing in some way. The most unassuming things can be the most amazing sometimes. So many products you talked about have lowkey packaging. And yet they work like a dream! Thank you for your continued honest reviews. ☺
Hi Jessica, definitely enjoyed this style of video. I agree with the BM concealer- didn’t work out for me either. I wanted it to work but unfortunately didn’t. I fianlly purchased the Loreal serum foundation on your recommendation. I also got the No.7 tinted skin perfector that @taylorwynn loves. That combo is magic. I'm 55 and my skin looked so smooth but not cake-like. Just wonderful.
I love the Bare Mineral original concealer, but I find it is absolutely a "less is best" type product. I am 48 with normal skin and find just a dot under each eye covers beautifully. I also think it looks best when I use my my finger to blend rather than a brush or sponge.

I love the Milk Makeup lipsticks! They’re my most worn lipsticks and nobody ever talks about them. The formula is great and I love the packaging too. It’s heavy with a magnetic closure. I have the shade Skillz (peachy nude) and C.R.E.A.M. (pinky nude). They’re perfect nude shades.

I have it in nearly apricot and love it too! I’ve used a brush and fingers and both work well for me.
