Will Tyler give a tour of his office? I remember at the house how he wanted to decorate with maps and hang an instrument on the wall. What has he done to enjoy going into work away from home?
I stopped wearing mascara on my lower lashes a few years ago, and honestly...I don't know why anyone does wear it. For me, I always felt like it drew attention to my lower lids (which at times, had fine lines from concealer creasing) ugh. x
I never wore mascara on lower lashes because I have, like, only 3 crazy long spider legs lashes on each lower lash line, so mascara makes them look even more spidery. And then it smudges like crazy. But I’ve found that tubing mascara works well, doesn’t smudge, and somehow catches the super fine or short lashes so it looks like I have more.
I skip it like 99% of the time bc my lower lashes are so long that it transfers and kind of makes them look weird like too long? Haha idk I only do it if I want a dramatic look maybe for a costume or festival
My lower lashes r very long and I love it because it gives me fairy vibes and make my eyes look even bigger !! I do have to be careful though too much and they look crazy lol
I’ve never used mascara on my lower lashes myself-they’re skimpy, and I chose to concentrate on emphasizing on my upper lashes-which are lovely, thank goodness!
It is! But if they wanted to hit it out of the park then Revolution should have duped the product without the one thing everyone complained about …the sponge tip applicator haha
@@ms_filosopher it depends on your own skin tone and depth. I like really cool, almost grey undertones for my coloring, which they don’t have. The deep caramel works pretty well, though.
I’m 100% with you on the blush. I got the essence the blush in befitting and it’s perfect for my skin tone and I love it. I use it every day far more than my expensive blushes!
So that romantic rose blush looks a lot lighter and peachier then what I remember. Cause I remember it being more of a mauve and kinda cool toned gray? It sounds off putting but I wore it on my wedding day as eyeshadow. I don’t remember it being peachy at all.
I swatched the romantic rose shade the other day and it looked peachier than I remembered! I wonder if they changed the shade slightly? Cause it definitely was a cool toned mauve pink before!
I never put mascara on my lower lashes either! Sometimes I’ll take a really skinny eyeliner brush and a medium brown shadow and pack a little on the lower outer corner just barely, keep it tight to the last line and then you still get a little definition without the unnatural look of mascara down there! 😍
I've been mixing equal parts L'Oreal serum foundation with Missha #13 BB cream, or equal parts with the Estee Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue. Perfection! 😘
I’d love to try that L’Oréal foundation, just wish they would go cruelty free already lol I have the romantic rose blush and mine looks exactly like the one you have!
Great video! I actually purchased Romantic Rose 2 years ago because you wore it and recommended it in a “Top 8 Blushes” video that you did back in early 2019! Still one of my favorites to this day. 💙
My romantic rose is more of a dust rose color and, the luminous now isn’t the same shade as the OG, it’s more orange-y peach then the soft subtle peach.
I watch every single one of your videos, and I'm old enough to be your Grandma! My question has nothing to do with this video, but I hope you can answer me. I remember Tyler mentioning a Bread Cookbook that he said was great for beginners. My Granddaughter and her husband want to start baking bread, but they don't know how to begin. I want to get them a Bread Cookbook for Christmas this year. Do you know what book he was referring to? I was looking for it too, glad you mentioned the name Melissa. Thank you. I wonder if it's called "Flour Water Salt Yeast, The Fundamentals of Artisan Bread and Pizza". Seems to be the best selling book in pizza baking. There are a couple of more books called flour, water, salt and yeast but nowhere near as many reviews.

Yeah! New clothes aren't the same after you wash them! The only clothing I wash before wearing are pajamas and underwear. But I do wash all my new makeup brushes before using because people touch them and I don't want to put that in my makeup.
Yes! About the Milani blushes being inconsistent in color! So true! I have all shades of the ones with the rose pattern and recently, I've been noticing some shades in stores looking completely different from mine. For example, "Blossomtime rose", instead of the vivid rose color (which it has always been) looked almost like a highlighter... I mean it was this pale yellow gold color... I was even tempted to buy it but didn't do it because I figured that I'd never be able to get this same shade again, in case I actually ended up liking it... So there is definitely a lack of consistency in their products... :((
I need that blush!! I am also fair skinned and have been looking for a more subtle blush. Thanks!! I'd also love to try that skin tint. I watched Stephanie Toms try it on as well and she loved it too.
Loved your makeup in this video omg! If it's not too much of a bother, would you consider doing a cruelty free favourites video? I would love to see your specific favourites because I trust your judgement!
I love love the L’Oréal Nude Skin Tru Match Serum. You can build it up so it is not so sheer. Jess, I highly recommend the Pacifica ALIGHTEN Radiance Powder Palette. It has a bronzer, a peachy pink blush, & 2 highlighters. I have owned this for some time and it is gorgeous. I bought mine from a health food store. Ulta carries it too.
Romantic Rose from Milani is my FAVORITE blush!! For all the reasons you said. I will say that the color does vary the smallest bit depending on batch. I bought a new one because I shattered mine and it is slightly more peach than before. The first one was more of a muted pink and this is more of a muted peach. Such a small difference that most people wouldn't notice but I did because it's my every day blush. I still love it either way!
Great news, Jess! I have that same blush and it is just as light as yours! And boy howdy do I apply it with reckless abandon. It's really good at making me look alive without looking like I have blush on at all. Also, okay new editor!! I see you!!
Re your blush question- So what I’ve been noticing about my face make up and I am approaching my 40th BDay I want some thing that looks two steps up from natural like I want to look like me But elevated. And what I’ve been noticing is when I try things I used to like colors shades in someone that are bolder I feel like it’s aging me and I don’t like it and I really like how I look with lighter looks again like me but elevated.
We love you Jess! Thanks for everything you do! I also think you have the best subscribers! They are always helping one. Another out! Let’s hear it for women lifting each other up! Love and blessings to all! Have a great day! Also I love the Milani blush, I have that shade, I also use it as shadow great in the crease, I like a monochromatic look most days….
I love your personality! You're honesty is so refreshing. I love when you admit you didn't wash your brush after you bought it. I'm right there with you. Is it weird to say I could totally see us being friends if we ever met? Thanks for the video! Love you! 😊
Yes!, I recently started using those milani blushes and they are so pretty!. I got a few colors and ventured out to try “coral cove” 😍 Omg, I would say is a dupe in color for the Dior backstage coral one
OMGosh, I agree with you on the blush issue. That Milani blush in that particular shade, Romantic Rose, I bought about a year ago and it was a cool toned mauve/pink.. not a peach color at all. Very strange!
This concealer is my favorite and my daughter's too! I can't use anything else after discovering it, and the color is so forgiving we can use it as a foundation. I just wish Revolution comes out with the same formula in a bigger bottle
I do think exposure to light and age have something to do with powder color variations in some cases. My Ulta had a Juvia’s Place eyeshadow palette on display that looked lighter than the one I received in an online order. I brought mine in to compare and the employee told me that the lighter one had been on display for a few months (open in a plastic case under lights). We took a new palette out of the box and it looked like mine. I kinda wanted the one on display instead 😁😁 I do think some powders can lighten in the store when it has a clear top for the light to get in so maybe some blushes sit exposed to lights more than others. 🤷🏻♀️ My Milani Romantic Rose is definitely more mauve-toned than yours, so either they had a batch variance or they changed the color or it’s an older powder maybe. It’s pretty though 😄
Romantic rose is my ♥️. I feel like my shade is more pinky though! BUT I also find this blush almost blurs? Not sure but I always use it, even on top of another blush! Usually Essence “befitting”
Jessica, you are NOT the worst TH-camr! I love watching your channel! it's like sitting with my bestie and playing with makeup. And your final look was so pretty! Lisa
My Romantic Rose looks just like yours and is my #1 favorite. I use it every single day and have for over a year. If you want to punch it up and skip highlighter, top with Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso. *Chef's Kiss*
Jessica, life is too short for terrible mascara. Throw it away girl. If you have to work that hard to get mediocre results with awesome lashes like yours, it's seriously not worth it, so return it or throw it away. I completely agree with you on the Grande Lash Serum. It transformed my lashes into what I always wanted them to be, full & long. On another note, I have the same eye shape as yours and don't like anything on my lower lash line, I really never have. I can't explain why exactly, just that it never looks good on me personally. Love you & your channel!❤
@@juliewells4282 So sorry I'm just now seeing your comment. I haven't seen it go on sale per se, but I usually try to pick it up during the holidays when they have kits with sample sizes. The samples actually last a long time for me personally. I can only use it 2-3x's/week I have very sensitive skin & if I use it more than that my eyelids get a tiny bit irritated. Nothing serious though, but even just using it a couple times a week I have noticed a HUGE difference!!! Anyway, the holiday kits are a great purchase, but I always pick it up during the Sephora VIB sales. Hope this helps, again sorry for the delayed response.
The lash feeling 😂😂 same girl, same!!! I have decent lashes. Nothing exciting but sometimes I do need lashes on when I attend something glam style. So when I see you tube people doing their makeup but have naturally long banging lashes I’m like yes any mascara looks sooo good. Like Ally Glines, she has beautiful lashes.
You have inspired me to do more natural looks during times where I’m working from home or going to the nearby store. It’s totally out of my comfort zone but have been enjoying it. Thank you for making your videos. It has definitely helped me during tough times. It has always put a smile on my face.
I wish you could do a full video on Pacifica make up and maybe one about their skin care. That would be helpful cause I never hear anyone talking about them yet they have so plenty to offer
I don’t wear anything on my bottom lashes, I wear eyeliner on my top lashes like you do and a brown shadow stick, and mascara. I feel my eyes look better this way
I love the way this looks too but what do you do when you have barely noticeable lower eyelashes? Mine are blonde so I need the color but don't like heavy mascara on the lower lashes. Help! :-)
YAY JESSICA, that Revolution concealer is my holy grail and no one talks about it!!! It's sooo good and natural looking, and if you let it sit a little while you get more coverage out of it! So nice ✨😍 Oh and that oil thing happened to me too when I opened it for the first time, I just had to shake it well and it didn't happen again 😊
The edits where your voice continues to say what you’re saying without pause, but the shot of you changes to one of you not talking, throws me every time and I don’t understand why my brain can’t just get with the program. 😂
I also apply my blush wrecklessly.. one of my favorite is sky pink from Maybelline. I tend to go for a neutral baby pink it just adds enough color but it won't turn to an overwhelming mess. If a color is too bright and I have light under eyes I looks crazy 😳
I’m commenting as I’m watching. Yes I thought I was the only seeing different shades at different locations. I think revlon blushes are the same too. My romantic rose is a bit more pink.
That L’Oreal highlighter reminds me a lot of the cover FX product that was really popular. And make up revolution duped it as well. I used a few of theirs. Very similar
jessica...tell me what you think...I am a little scared of hyaluronic acid. especially in foundation. With skincare, I know to have water on my face before applying HA and then a moisturizer over it. how do we put a moisturizing product OVER foundation?? lol
I havent been doing anything on the lower lash line for a long time now too. Especially if I'm in a rush because I can't ever put on lower lash mascara without getting it everywhere.
I remember hearing that the Milani blush in romantic rose is a dupe for the Tarte exposed blush, which is one of my all time favorite blushes! I will have to try romantic rose. It looks like a beautiful shade.
I also didn't love that pacifica Mascara when I tested it in a video! I do love a lot of their other products though! Their eyeshadow formula is so underrated
It’s so funny, I just ordered and got the L’Oréal serum (love it!) and the makeup revolution concealer! I also got the concealer in a darker shade to do as contour (also as a Charlotte Tilbury dupe), can’t wait to try it after seeing you use it! And oh my that blush! It just went in my Ulta cart! 😍
I have Milani romantic rose in a mini and I think I got it from an ipsy. I absolutely love that colour as well! I would say it's a midtone nude pink. Not super light, very middle of the road mid toned nude pink with some brown in it.
I love all of your videos and really respect your reviews on products. You have a way of describing and sharing your opinions, both good and bad, about products that comes across as genuine and I feel like I can trust your impression on it. I have purchased a lot of things based on your recommendations and you haven't steered me wrong yet! I totally agree with you on the people who have naturally long, full lashes and then rave (or do commercials) about how great the mascara works. Mascara is a pretty individual item anyway as far as what people look for, but someone who has crazy long, beautiful lashes isn't very objective as far as recommending a mascara product. Thank you, again, Jessica for being your authentic you.
I know you’ve made a couple of videos about your Invisalign journey, but not being able to wear lipstick is killlinggggg me! Can you do a video maybe about lipsticks that won’t transfer into teeth/Invisalign or maybe some tips and tricks? This video was great!!!
I love the foundation so much and I didn't think it would last long on me in FL and SC heat at all but it does.Yes,I also love the Milani brush. This color looks pretty on you.
I love the finished look on you, Jess! I'm interested in that serum foundation and excited to hear your final thoughts after trying it out some more. That lip combo is fire! Love your videos and love your energy! 💕
I love a subtle blush that you can just slap on your face lol. I have this really pigmented blush palette that I never use because it's just too much work.
Jessica the Milani blush is so pretty on you..It appears to give you that airbrushed look..In regards to the l’oreal true match nude hyaluronic tinted serum..I bought it recently on another utuber's recommendation and I really like it..What I found what works best for my mature dry skin is to blend it with Loreal's Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation..and the reason I mixed them initially is because the age perfect was too light and the true match was a bit darker..but between the two of them I think I found the perfect foundation for me..If there is a better foundation I'd like to know because I've tried many and so far this combo surpasses them all..
You’re studio lights don’t do you justice. You’re so much more natural and robust looking in the natural light.

YAY JESSICA, that Revolution concealer is my holy grail and no one talks about it!!! It's sooo good and natural looking, and if you let it sit a little while you get more coverage out of it! So nice ✨😍
Oh and that oil thing happened to me too when I opened it for the first time, I just had to shake it well and it didn't happen again 😊
The edits where your voice continues to say what you’re saying without pause, but the shot of you changes to one of you not talking, throws me every time and I don’t understand why my brain can’t just get with the program. 😂
Same!😄
And I also wonder how in the world does that happen! 😀
That foundation is like a perfect shade match for you. Seems like it at least. Kinda wanna try it!
Blush isn't boring...it's everything! Can make or break a look! This blush was chef's kiss on you 😃
The lightning is sooo bright
My favorite blush are purple blushes... I think it gives my skin the best coloring!
jessica...tell me what you think...I am a little scared of hyaluronic acid. especially in foundation. With skincare, I know to have water on my face before applying HA and then a moisturizer over it. how do we put a moisturizing product OVER foundation?? lol
Same!
I havent been doing anything on the lower lash line for a long time now too. Especially if I'm in a rush because I can't ever put on lower lash mascara without getting it everywhere.
I love the serum foundation. I really don’t like the age perfect one, it settles in my lines. This one, though, wears beautifully on me.
Jessica have you tried the nyx brow glue and the nyx lift and snatch brow pen? They are both so good. My new go to!
It's been a hot minute since you've done your makeup in a video!! Yay!! So excited for this!! 😁
I have that same blush, but I feel like mine looks slightly more mauve. Still such a beautiful natural blush. It’s my favorite!
This final look is sooooo pretty! You just look flushed in a healthy and almost no-makeup-makeup way. Very much my jam.
The Loreal lumi bronzer is my holy grail! Love the color for my fair skin!
I’m obsessed with that lip color!!!!!
The blush looks beautiful on you!
Always enjoy watching you!
I been loving drugstore makeup and I want to try more drugstore brands! 💖💖💖💖
Getting off work and seeing a new jessica braun video is honestly the highlight of my day❤❤❤❤
I bought the elf brows one too. I like it as well. More than a few high end ones
That blush is GORGEOUS on you!
i am laughing out loud at these zoom edits. love your editing lately 💖💖💖
I love L'oreals serum foundation!!
Jessica, please try Maybelline Full N Soft mascara. It's not new but I think it's amazing and noone ever talks about it!!!
Love love love all ur drugstore videos! Been curious about this foundation for a minute cause the reviews are either hate it or love it
I use Xlash serum and it definitely makes a difference. No 7 makes one too that is much less expensive.
