    For those interested, the real numbers are this. Assuming your insurance is $150 per month, the cost of ownership before charging costs is $6600 over two years or $3300 per year. Divided by 365 days in a year, your actual cost $9.04 per day. And that 10000 mile per year will limit you to 27 miles average of use per day. Assuming that you work a five day week, your commute had better be under 20 miles return if you plan on using the car for longer trips on weekends. Say 85 miles of use. Something to think about.

      @AkioWasRight 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +10

      Not at all.
      First of all, residual was 63%, which translates to around $10,500 in depreciation cost. But about 90% of this offer is pure government incentive, or $9,500, which only leaves about $1,000 to pay off.
      Second, Nissan doesn't sell the car or create the terms, that's between the dealer and the buyer.
      So, what's there to take a hit on? The dealer tossed in its own discount, but with all the fees and whatnot they had, they're probably still making money.

      This gross charge applies to my family's 2005 Hybrid Toyota Highlander, all EVs, all hybrids (not just anything plug-in), and probably anything getting over 15 MPG. Getting 22MPG instead of 16MPG in the city must be a Sin to Nashville.

    get an old chevy volt. pay 7k, put basic insurance on it, mines 20$/mo. i saved almost 3000$ last year in gas and put 35k miles on it as a one car solution. if you want to save money this is what you do. the insurance alone will eat up any gas you expect to save driving around town since thats all the leaf can do. once you factor in how much my volt has gone up in value since i bought the car a year ago, its a free car. thats cheaper than mcdonalds, especially now days.

      Wise financial decision 👌👌 I’d get a $2000 Corolla to save money but for now I’m living in my 03 suburban to save rent $$$$ and though it’s cheap and reliable it’s a freaking gas guzzler, $300-$400 per month but it’s still cheaper than a car payment and if someone drives into me I can just buy another one and still be better off financially

Or anywhere that one has cold climate conditions that you have to traverse on a daily commute. IS this a great deal if you live in CO.? As a 1 only vehicle daily commuter, no.
