I have been watching and enjoying your videos for years. I know Amazon has a monopoly on so many things. It is for this reason I never purchase from Amazon. They have knocked out smaller businesses in the U.S. and I would imagine world-wide. It just seems in opposition to the values so many of the tiny house owners aspire to; and I would have thought maybe yours too? Just food for thought, especially as the U.S. Federal Trade Commission is finally talking about trying to break them up. As I said, I have a feeling this is the only way to get some products out into the world. But it makes me sad. Stay well and I look forward to so many more wonderful videos in the future.
My oldest brother (may he RIP) transformed a Volkswagen Beetle into a mobile home, which he used to tour the States with. He painted it camouflage green & grey on the outside and gutted it on the inside, with the exception of the driver's seat. He adjusted the front passenger seat to lay flat or sit upright, if he was driving with a guest. If not, the seat would lay down so he could sleep in the car. Storage was built in below the sleeping platform and he built in all kinds of little storage cubbies for his personal items, like books, etc. He even included a little pot bellied stove so he could truck down the road with the chimney smoking, going down the highway. It was quite the conversation piece. Most people thought my brother to be either crazy or a genius. Like Geoffrey's beautiful creation, my brother's bug (Foreful was her name) was quite the conversation piece. Geoffrey brings back memories of my brother, and for that I thank him. I also appreciate his generosity in sharing his lovely abode with the world. He has some absolutely fantastic ideas. I especially like his desk and all of the various pop ups in his living room, designed to transform with the need at the moment. Very clever, indeed.
Eating my words "surely, I've seen it all before"... Great multi-functional use of a small space, without looking like a transformer piece - and cozy to boot.
yes some are really not practical.. i can see the use of the tables nder the floor, since 8 ppl dont live there, but can be fed occasionally. I wouldnt like it (how to clean and navigate with feet that have had accdients), but he makes it work.
Wow, what a beautiful home with so many genius details: The folding tables, the sliding desk, the hidden storage, amazing!!! And Geoffrey seems to be a nice guy who gives credit for the friends who helped him, takes good care of his cat and respects nature and environment. Beautiful tour, thank you and greetings from Germany 😊
He reminds me of DaVinci. He seems as though he came from another time. Eerily cool 😎! The deck is genius! I love this format of letting the homeowner tell his story. Beautiful editing!
The trapdoor in the floor for the veg (and the cat!) - genius The table/storage/desk arrangement in the living area - beyond genius. The water tap in the bedroom.... Blimey! I could do with one of those when my glass is empty & I can't be bothered to get up & go to the kitchen. Geoffrey truly makes every inch matter!! And engraving all the names of those who helped with the project on the cladding... A big ahhhh....
@@wakingtheworld I was feeding a squirrel on my deck on a regular basis and one day he decided to try and get into my house. I had to close my windows because he was trying to go thru the screen. They can be very bold that was it no more feeding them near the house. Now I put the food under a tree in my backyard.
@@SusanChristmas Wow! That bold. Mind you, I'm now recalling a squirrel in a large London park that was hanging round getting fed by the visitors, who ran right up my body to say hello.... and I caught it on camera. He was fearless!
I'd mostly be scared of spiders and snakes. It happened to a friend of mine. A snake. They were paralyzed, stuck in the house 🥴. I guess here I'd put a cat flap and a strong mosquito net.
I recognise the little white lidded pots: he is recycling the pots from a very popular type of French Yoghurt. Great tiny!! And a touch of French refinement: he eats on a table covered by a table cloth :), and space for books. I really love the tap in the bedroom.
Geoffrey's tiny house really embodies the term multifunctional. The ideas that he came up with are brilliant. A Transformer in disguise as a tiny home 😁
A beautifully crafted tiny home with so much warmth, character and uniqueness. I love the sanctuaries that he’s created in this build. That deck extension is something else! Keep following your heart, Geoffrey. Great job!
My great grandfather and his family built their own house. Though a good deal smaller than theirs, this house reminds me of that. One of the hurricanes in FL finally knocked it down after almost 100 years. I love the tables and standing desk in this tiny house. Very, very clever!
Wonderful ....floor culture ....to standing up ....systems analysis ....( a true gift for the world ) . Go to .... state of the Art ....the real deal ....Cosmic resonance .
Ingenious. He has spatial intelligence. Both in the space he builds but also the space he inhabits by the way he lives. Such a warm and inviting home. Would love to see it in winter.
That is one of the most affordable and functional tiny houses I have seen in a while. It is truly tiny, and yet has all the functions of the larger models, while still representing who he is. Absolutely amazing!
I relate with Geoffrey's idea of "sacred place." Right now, what I am trying to achieve in my rented home is "sacred space" before I feel I am ready to move into a tiny home of my very own. Thank you for sharing Geoffrey's positive & uplifting experiences.
I love that he is content with so little, including such a tiny home. It's so interesting to see how different people live their lives so happily. Thank you for sharing with us!
The were indeed awesome. I'm surprised he didn't use the same scissor-lift style mechanism for the tables as he did for the desk though. I thought that was really cool, and would have worked better than the table setup where he has to lift up and then fold down the legs. I wonder if he came up with the scissor lift idea later perhaps? It's interesting to think how people like this come about their designs, if it is all pen and paper, or trial and error? It's not a criticism, of course, it's an intriguing setup.
Love the space as much as admire the owner who built it - very out of the box thinker. It is different because it is made for himself by him, not for the idea of building something that needs to appeal to someone should he sell it in the future. Too often, houses are very homogenous because they are built to be appealing to a wide range of people for selling down the road. This house reflects the owner, his philosophy, his spirit. Paying homage to the people who help him actualize this dream is an example of his humanity.
A perfect place so convenient and cozy with lots of storage. So good to see someone living life and refusing to be controlled by expectations of society. A neat, comfy home to be proud of!
Oh its beautiful, and so is his heart. We can feel the simplicity and peace of being a minimalist, while also not suppressing wants. He is naturally what we saw in the video. Great video, thank you.
This is soooo AMAZING! His design is 2nd to none. He should definitely consider designing tiny homes for a living. What a wonderful human being he is. Excellent video and thank you for showing his home.
As a retired person, I prefer a single level home, but I could totally live with the rest of this home. I particularly admire the timber used on the outside, very beautiful. ❤
Wow! I thought this channel had covered pretty much most of the basic design-ideas for tiny homes, however, Geoffrey's architectural knowledge and ideas proved that the sky is the limit to innovations. The multipurpose space earned its name. Thank you for sharing 🙏
Brilliant use of space. I was initially impressed with the jar lids attached to the underside of the cabinet, but the versatility of that living space and the standing desk blew my mind.
I really love all aspects of Geoffrey's tiny house, and above all, even if he is living by himself, his home was built in the spirit of communal use. I do wish Geoffrey the chance to host some (if not all) of his friends from South America.
I really enjoyed the kaupapa of his whare x. ‘Tiny’ living seems irrelevant to actual size as each footprint is different. This home reinforces purposeful housing; this home was shaped by his lifestyle desire and in turn that ‘shape’ extended his perception and capacity of what his life could be… love to revisit this home at a later time.
I love all the clever storage space, and those tables, wow!!! The tap in the bedroom loft is such a clever idea! What an amazing tiny home! Very inspiring.
Outstanding tiny house! :) Again, with that one, to me, it's the essence of what a tiny house should be and is thought for! Multifonctional with lots of smart ideas, lots of re-use and reclaims materials, small and cosy, DIY but built with the help of friends and people (Do-it-yourself but not alone!) etc... Also Geoffrey seems like a very nice guy , smart and creative, humble and down to earth, which is also i think the kind of spirit that should go with that movement! Thanks for sharing this! With the young guy from the UK that has build a tiny house for 5k £, these are some of my favorites videos shared this year! :) Cheers from France! o/
Such an inventive journey. At every turn, you find a clever use of space, particularly the tables. I can see where he finds joy and comfort in every corner from the living room to the sloping roof/skylit bedroom. Who wouldn't want to relax on that deck? Thank you for sharing this.
Geoffrey, what a wonderful world it would be if half the people were as thoughtful as you. The life you've put into your design shows that. You prove the value of learning from other cultures as you did in Columbia, that we can learn from one another. Also there's a message that your home is detailed to fit you perfectly and we can do this too. There is no one perfect home to copy. The perfect home is the one that we create to fit what we need. It doesn't need a huge budget. Your example of recycled woods and finding small spaces with so many possibilities is inspiring. I look forward to seeing your next project.
This is such an intelligently designed tiny home! It has a lot of things that I haven't seen in other tiny homes. I love his focus of life, utilizing his home to achieve his happiness. I love the fact that he included the names of all of the people who helped him build the home. He seems like a great guy!
The siding is just beautiful, the house is alive with the movement!. I really love the creative use of space and no kitchen cabinets that crowd you out❤❤❤❤❤
Wow! This is hands down my favourite tiny house ever featured on TH-cam. An amazing blend of soulful and functional, and you can really feel Geoffrey's love for the community who made this happen - both in terms of supporting the build itself and the life experiences that got him there. I am blown away! Thanks Bryce for sharing this and wishing Geoffrey continued peace and happiness in his amazing sacred home 🤍
Love Geoffrey’s philosophy in building this tiny home. How he rejected the specialised teaching he’d had and tried something new based on how he saw families living in Colombia. How he wants to share his new knowledge to level the playing field of building your own home. Especially how he captured all his energy and effort in a book for others to use. The multi-use lounge, desk, tables, decking with huge opening doors and windows make the space feel much larger. A beautiful space ❤
"...and so much more." Truer words have never been spoken. What an inspiring video. Just love how Geoffrey speaks right from his heart. So many tiny house dwellers say similar things...that they set out to build a home, sans mortgage, but what they got was something so much more, and positive changes they weren't expecting. More free time, serenity, focus and appreciation for what really matters in life. The rest of us are stuck out in the drift with all of our excess possessions weighing us down. *sigh* Someday I'll live in my own tiny house...
One of my favorite designs I’ve ever seen right here, so many clever solutions for multi-purposing the central floor space inspired by a real knowledge of how he wants to spend his time, and perhaps more importantly, how he doesn’t (cleaning)! The loft tap is brilliant and that is one lucky cat to have such a great place to call home 😊
It's one of the most personal tiny houses I've seen & it has its own unique character.. looks even more gorgeous at night with all those lights !! Bryce, I want to comment the same thing under every video man your channel has given me so much joy, peace, satisfaction & dreams to look upto... Love from India man❤
Hello Geoffrey, ta maison est top, ingénieuse, compacte, nature, cosy, personnalisée, bravo, bel ouvrage ! Tu dois vraiment t'y sentir très bien. Merci pour ce partage et bravo pour ta conception
This is the true representative of a functional, cozy and liveable tiny home which I love seeing more of. I'm loving the story behind it as well, experiencing the world outside of where you live to become a more grounded person. This is so real and comforting to watch, and reminder to be contented with what you have and live towards what you believe in 💖 The way the interior of this house is built is inspiring!
Loved hearing Geoffrey’s journey. Such a thoughtful build that allows for intentional living. Thanks Geoffrey, Bryce & Rasa, enjoyed this episode & grateful for this channel.
I absolutely love the ingenuity of those lifting tables and sliding desk in the living room. Also, his cat is gorgeous. Charming owner and charmed place.
Great house, great human, very cool guy! 🧡 Seeing the meaning behind the house and his travels, and hearing his intentions with the build had me almost in tears. (OK…I’m the gushy type LOL) This little video was a warm and cozy treat. Thank you Bryce and Geoffrey!
I am so glad he followed his dreams and in doing so has become one with his Tiny. This experience has led him to write a book to help others live their Tiny dreams. Great job! 🥰
I like that he realized you can make do with just one sink in his tiny house design. His bedroom spigot was an interesting idea that my wife would appreciate since she always gets thirsty in the middle of the night.
@Michelle_Emm Well, I suppose she could, but she doesn't. And to be honest, she would probably knock the water off the stand reaching around in the dark. I'm guessing after 48 years of marriage, I'll just let her continue as she has all these years. 😁❤️
Love seeing a tiny, tiny house! His house has such a great vibe. The living room/work area was so creative for the different set-up options, and that water spigot in the loft was pretty brilliant!
Geoffrey's house is the most amazing, inspired and inspiring ever posted! His philosophy, approach is in every aspect and feature. Well done Geoffrey and thanks Bruce and Rasa for posting.🤩
This perfect space is like a jigsaw puzzle of comfort and sustainability and engineering. In the simplest form. It’s unique to the person but adaptable for others. A little too spartan for me but I could easily make it my own. Just wonderful 💕
It's a privilege to choose to live in a tiny home. I hope the tiny house movement has a more positive financial impact on the impoverished communities that these home owners draw inspiration from.
What a beautiful, peaceful space! Geoffrey's energy is refreshing, and his willingness to use his knowledge to help others is just what the world needs.
Love his story and home! Definitely one of my fave tiny houses which has got me re-thinking my own ideas including in terms of size. Just lovely, thank you.
Very creative build. And Geoffrey is happy, at peace. I guess many of us take the roofs over our heads for granted, thinking we want bigger when we don't need it. Not really.
How interesting that he chose Paulownia for his exterior finish. I am a modest collector of Japanese art and furnishings, and one of my favorite pieces is an antique tansu made of this 'kiri' wood, which means 'life' in Japanese. Because it is so light in weight and seems so delicate, I had no idea that it would be suitable for structural or exterior use. Quelle surprise: it "has been officially deemed the aluminum of timber, as it is the lightest to strongest ratio wood species in the world. it is odorless, naturally resistant to fire, salt water, termites, decay and rot." Well done, Geoffrey. Your home is so personal and inventive, filled with ideas, memories and friendship.
I need to watch this again. So cleaver WOW. The steps are steep - ok for a younger person. I loved the dining table, and desk idea. It seem to fit him great. I too would like a tiny to fit me like a glove. So happy you found someone that did a low cost build. So many tiny are over the top expensive for the Trust fund kids. Thank you.
Geoffrey can build me a tiny home any day! I love the design of this - how so much is incorporated into a beautiful, warm, compact space! I think I want one like this!
Great design, host and builder. And love this idea of showing projects far away from Bryce & Rasa location by having the house owner hosting the show and getting help from a local video professional: both managed to keep the essence of the channel videos. Very well done!

Luv that You've personalized every nook & cranny 👍. Enjoy 🎉 Safe Travels
Merci pour ce partage et bravo pour ta conception
lovehow you let them speak about their home, was really respectful, felt like watching a documentry
I love his heart for helping people and that he loves that he met friends through this. ❤
I love the simplicity of this tiny house. It’s not pretentious. The storage and desk/tables are cleverly placed.❤
Merci de partager cela avec nous, Geoffrey ! Incroyable.
Thanks for showing us another great tiny house, Bryce!
Avec plaisir :)
Merci de ton message
Τι χαρούμενος άνθρωπος!! Με τόσα λίγα είναι σαν να έχει τα πάντα !!
What a cosy, beautiful home!! So many clever details... love-it! And some very profound reflections about existence. 👍😊
I am so glad he followed his dreams and in doing so has become one with his Tiny. This experience has led him to write a book to help others live their Tiny dreams. Great job! 🥰
Je connais la Drôme, c'est très beau ! Merci pour cette video de la jolie " tiny house "de Geoffrey !
Haha merci de ton message
Tiny House + Tiny Cat => Heaven on Earth
How about Tiny Dog?
i like this tiny house. it reflects his artistry as well as the connection with nature.
Geoffrey's house is the most amazing, inspired and inspiring ever posted! His philosophy, approach is in every aspect and feature. Well done Geoffrey and thanks Bruce and Rasa for posting.🤩
Lovely to hear the ontro music again. Some great ideas in this one 👍🏼
*intro lol
This perfect space is like a jigsaw puzzle of comfort and sustainability and engineering. In the simplest form. It’s unique to the person but adaptable for others. A little too spartan for me but I could easily make it my own. Just wonderful 💕
Love the modularity of the living room.
Great job.
It's a privilege to choose to live in a tiny home. I hope the tiny house movement has a more positive financial impact on the impoverished communities that these home owners draw inspiration from.
Such a beautiful home and so well designed with so many different functions in the living room.
Cool tiny house! Good for you my friend love from Philadelphia Pa USA ❤
The platform-table-combination with all the different functions is REALLY clever. Super cozy house. Happy vibes all over. ❤
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful house!!!!! ❤❤❤
Thank you.
How wonderful
Geoffrey can build me a tiny home any day! I love the design of this - how so much is incorporated into a beautiful, warm, compact space! I think I want one like this!
Wow, Geoffrey has put so much thought and effort into building his wonderful tiny home 👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️
The table/desk situation is brilliant!
Great design, host and builder. And love this idea of showing projects far away from Bryce & Rasa location by having the house owner hosting the show and getting help from a local video professional: both managed to keep the essence of the channel videos. Very well done!
I love how connected to nature you are in any room of this house! Amazing vibes
This is one of my favourites. Some great space saving ideas and wonderfully unique
