I have been away for 1 month teaching so we are getting back into jump training. We are working on being accurate, light and reactive.

god, what a quality rider and trainer. not only does she free ride and jump, but she promotes and practises building your horse up from the ground and having them in the correct frame and having them move well under saddle.

if you actually focus, then you see that goldrushes ears are never back, because goldrush has a strong bond with his rider, and he is not thinking about what alicia is doing wrong, but quite the opposite , he is thinking about what shes doing right, and appreciating that. you guys are so perfect for eachother ❤

I notice that when you take off his bridle he’s able to have much more freedom to turn his head and see where he’s going. It must make it easier for the horse.

What a beautiful boy you have ... I understand you have been free-riding him for many years now. I am curious ... how high is he and how old ? Any idea what his bloodlines are ... sire and dam etc. I am fairly new to your social media site(s) ... you have probably talked about his background before and if you have could you let me know which upload and when/where please. I would love to know more about him. What a special and stunning animal. You have obviously put so much aroha and devotion into his training ... all the hard work, sacrifice and effort shines through , expressed in your wonderfully fluid partnership with him. My horse and I had a really good relationship, and we trusted each other no matter what. But now, she stopped jumping. It's like she's getting scared, or she's lost her trust in me. I really don't know what it is.. Can someone please tell me what i'm doing wrong? I really don't wan to give up on her. :(

If you didn't make him pull away like that in lunging, then it was probably because you we're away for 1 month and he's still not used to you being back maybe.
