Cool video, I like your REST app, well done for a first timer. It is not really wireless control when the camera has to be wired into a network over ethernet though is it?
I am not sure if I understand your comment. The router is mounted on the camera, and the iPad or Phone logs onto the router wirelessly up to c.400 feet away. This setup could be completely Off the Grid. There is no need for the internet or a wired network unless you wanted to VPN into the camera from a device somewhere else in the world.
@@koalanyc339 Thanks for the reply. Sorry I must have missed the part where you showed a router attached to the camera, that makes sense how it would be working wirelessly.
Hello. Everything you have achieved is fantastic. I haven't understood several things. 1. How do I connect the camera to the APP? I understand that I always need a USB-C to Ethernet adapter. Or can I use any Wi-Fi feature of the camera? If I send you 5 dollars for the donation, can you help me with that initial configuration? thank you!
I just published a video that takes you through the process. There is a link to make a tax-deductible donation if you wish. th-cam.com/video/VDhgJMOU9jo/w-d-xo.html
Great overview! Nice work :)
Thanks Will. More videos in the pipe!
Thanks you
No problem
