Yes please- would love to hear about your past& present job! I ran my bath& body business for 7 years full time. Never again!
YES! Please share with us how you left your job to become a full-time potter! I would love to hear about the art organization you are working for now, but would also ask why you didn't go the route of opening a community studio
I just don’t have the resources/energy to do that, but I’m working for one instead.
I love your natural approach. So nice to listen to you and you have so much to teach. I really appreciate you! Thank you for your videos. I love your honesty and how you share your process. I find it calming and reassuring . Many hugs from a fellow potter who has so much to learn.

yup, putting stuff in your mouth is the best technique to understand if cup is comfy to use
It sounds silly but it is tried and tested ✅
@@MaeCeramics I agree! I do the same 🫶
Thanks Mae❤
Great video 😊
What’s your favourite piece to make?
What’s your best seller?
Hi Lilly. I hope your finger heals soon. I can totally relate because I jammed my finger in the car door last week. I tried to throw yesterday, and still way too much pain. Yours looks way worse than mine though.
Oof I’m sorry to hear that - is it broken? I went to the doc today and it’s looking good she said, I’ll be back throwing soon 💅
@@MaeCeramics to be honest, I don't know if it is broken. It's right near the tip (just behind the nail), so if it's just a bit broken, I don't think the treatment would be any different anyway. It's really annoying because it's my right index finger, so I use it for nearly everything. Glad to hear yours is nearly better. I hope I'll be back throwing by next week, but I don't really know.
Was just watching this to confirm you are a kiwi. Oh and also cos I'm a kiwi potter and happened across your videos. Cool az.
Where is your hoodie from!! I need to know
I got it at the Bon Iver show - I’m sure you can get them online 🥰
My same work
Would look out for an answer to my question on preventing cracks on plates during firing when they don’t have a foot ring…thanks.
Check out my shorts or my bisque firing video for my videos where I go into firing plates on their side, it helps a lot
I would definitely use bleach instead of vinegar if you've got smelly clay or underglaze. Vinegar will increase bacterial growth and bleach will kill it!
Hi, which pottery forming machine do you use?
I use a pottery wheel, a Rohde HMT 500
@@MaeCeramics Thanks!! Love ur contents! :D
