    as someone in their early 30’s who did NOT take care of themselves in their teens and 20’s, I agree wholeheartedly that the earlier you start taking care of yourself, the better. I didn’t take it seriously until I turned 30 BECAUSE of all the pain and health issues I was having. today at 32, I have felt the best I have in a decade.
    so do what you need to do in order to be sure you’re at your best for as long as possible.
    💛

    It is so nice to hear from you, Madisyn, in this informal setting. The phrase you said you live by, “Discipline creates freedom.” reminded me of a quote from the German philosopher Fichte, who said, “It is heaven to become free, but actually to be free is nothing.” - I think this is in line with your phrase as discipline means you commit to something for a period of time, whether that be exercise, reading, chores, and you lose your freedom during these activities, but at the end you gain it back with a sense of accomplishment: you “become free” once more, as Fichte says. To be completely free, like you said in one of your vlogs a while back, means to drudge through life, over-rest etc.

    "Discipline creates freedom." literally writing that everywhere rn. Amazing quote. (side note: I'm jealous of your public transit access.)

    that initial first few minutes of the video were amazing! i've had a very bad 'winding down for sleep' routine for most of the year. i know it's constantly affecting my creative potential, as well as impacting my emotional regulation etc. loved that humorous slap in the face from you. i keep telling myself to read before bed but not doing it! silly silly silly girl. this has motivated me.

    you're amazing ♡ thanks for the motivation, i have ZERO friends who workout and wake up early or care about fitness/health so this helped me feel less alone at 26

    This is very inspiring, it might be the end-of-year inspiration too but considering I'm a type 1 diabetic, I know I should take care of myself more. Thank you for posting this routine, I think I'll utilize my apartment complex's gym more.

    How did you learn how to use the gym equipment? That's what I'm scared of lol

      I'd love to know too. I'd really like to get into weights but I'm so intimidated and afraid that any advice I research myself will end up being misinformation since I know form is super important and end up hurting myself or looking like a fool haha

      @@Olia-ch-kausually they have instructors at gyms that can help you with how to use the equipment. If you have social anxiety (like me 😅) there are some great channels on TH-cam that can help you with equipment. Also wikiHow is great for accurate information on how to do things.

    When I’m at the gym I really don’t want to hear someone signing on the treadmill. It’s a lot and some people don’t listen to music so it’s not really cool to disturb the peace/vibes for your own benefit.

    I don't understand, you eat breakfast AFTER your workout? You should eat before otherwise you'll have no fuel for muscle work

    • @dancerbabe02
      @dancerbabe02 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Or she could do what works best. If I were to eat before my workout I would throw up and that is for a lot of people. There is no steadfast rule.

    • @MiruDraws_

      @@dancerbabe02 agreed if i eat before my workout id have to wait like 2 hours before i could do my workout for digestion so i dont throw up and i like to get mine done first in the morning so ill keep eating after :)
