I am far from a bourbon expert myself but eagle rare is one of my favourites. It is a good price for a good quality bourbon. I tend to reach for it a lot. But it always surprises me that you can get such good taste and flavours on this proof and price. It is readily available and certainly one to recommend to have in stock.
I totally with agree with everything you’ve just said! I love this bourbon for its flavour to price ratio and the fact that it’s always available on the shelf all year round. One of my favourites now :)
It’s one of my favourites now Christine :) for the flavour to price ratio here in the UK and it’s one of the very few bourbons that are always always available on the shelf. Always around that £30 mark too
I just came back from walk with my dogie, sat down on the sofa and have a coffee. Look into my mobile phone and see Ash doing Eagle Rare 10 review. Couldnt resist, went upstairs to my cabinet and pour this to the glass. Haven't had any bourbon for a while so its so nice sipping this gem watching video about it same time. My bottle actually is on or two drams down the bottle neck but taste quite the same just lovely. Such a Dram. Cheers 😁🥂🥂🥂🙋♂️
P.S. you so right with this distinctive orange flavour which remind me mulled wine i drink in a cold winter evenings adding few slice of fresh cutting orange into it to warm up my self a bit. So yummy 😁🥂🥂🥂🙋♂️
@peatbull3426 you’re welcome! Sounds like a good day so far for you, a nice walk with the dog and finishing it off with a nice dram of eagle rare. I have to admit, I’m also really enjoying this whiskey. Such a nice relaxed sipper and for a really good price too, I can’t complain at all! Thanks, it’s always nice to hear someone else pick up a similar note to one that I get. You’ve just reminded me about the mulled wine, I will get some in soon, it’s starting to get cold. Winter is definitely coming! Cheers 🥃
@@WhiskyWars 😁👌 its really GOOD dram, balanced, flavourful with very well alcohol integrated so morish and warming up. Fantastic!! P.S. RedBreast PX is back!! £73.50 online shop just emailed me. Would you choose PX over Lustau Aah???
@peatbull3426 you’ve just given me some of the best news I’ve heard in a while! I would yes absolutely. What I have to say though is, I ordered 2 samples and I reviewed the first and was just blown away. Super super sweet though so that’s a warning but at the time I had it I was in love… and then had the second a month later and it was appalling but I’d imagine they hadn’t screwed the lid on properly because it was sealed in wax on the outside so it had spoiled massively, I’ll check this out :) I always feel not good giving a recommendation off a sample and not a bottle so I won’t go too intense but the first sample was really quite lovely
@peatbull3426 actually I just thought. I have a lustau vs PX whisky war on my channel so that could really help you out! :) from memory oranges and nuts = lustau. PX is just sugar syrup and red fruits
Nice one Ash! This was the first bourbon I could drink neat. Most readily available bourbons do taste the same I completely agree. To get more nuances and better taste we have to spend a lot more and I don't know if I'm comfortable with that when it comes to bourbon. As you get older with bourbon sure the taste gets better but damn they get expensive. This one is a great all rounder, cheers!
Thank you Ash. This and WTRBCS has been at the top of my list of wanted bourbons from when I started my whiskey journey. Never seen this in Sweden. Hopefully I may get it on a travel. 🥃
You’re more than welcome Hakan. They’re both in my top 3 for bourbons :) so I really hope you can try one in the future! I always always see WT in duty free so 🤞 Same with me for the eagle rare. I waited 5 years before I bought it 😅 but it does make it that extra bit sweeter when you wait so long for something you really want
Thanks Pierre! I paid £32 which I’m very happy with 🙂 unfortunately it’s almost empty so I will try to buy again but due to the nature of the channel, I rarely buy whiskey again because I always want to review something new for people but if I do this is one at the top of my list!
@pierreluna1654 I’ve started to wait with my neckpour reviews until I’ve filmed it’s whisky war so I can post them both in the same week so that’s why :)
You’re probably too young to know but this tastes like old cherry menthol cold lozenges called Tunes. I don’t think they exist anymore. Showing my age there.

@@WhiskyWars Fabulous price point Ash!! I'd love to see a comparison with Angel's Envy!! Sounds fun!! 🙂
Try Eagle Rare store pick (referred as single barrel) one of the best!
Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll definitely look into that

Thank you so much Ash. The birthday party was really fun 🤗
@PezrulezHaakon glad to hear it!
Excellent video !
I have a sample of it. Is amazing !!! So much gorgeous than all standard bourbon.
Did you said how many you pay for it ?

£32 its a very good price, here in France is around 45 euros

😂😂😂 nothing to be ashamed about Stuart! Scarily, I think I know and have eaten those which now makes me feel old too!
I'm not bourbon guy. To me Eagle 10YO and Rare Breed are only options bourbon has to offer for scotch lover.
You gotta try some of the high malt bourbons or a 4 grain bourbon
Two of my favourites :) I can see why you think that!
