I just watched a special about George Harrison last night. Paul McCartney said that both George and Ringo were amazing. Paul and John would write a song and bring it to the group, and having never heard the song, both George and Ringo would just jump right in and add all these guitar and drum parts that always took the songs to the next level. They were as much a part of the Beatles success as John and Paul.

That's what an awesome type of friend George was and that's him playing guitar and the solos on this track. You can also check out Ringo doing a song called "Photograph" from his solo career. And note that Ringo also sings several Beatles songs, Rockers like "Boys". Country like "Act Naturally", Kids songs like "Yellow Submarine" and his own songs like "Octopus's Garden".

The missing Beatle is George Harrison. He actually had the biggest selling post-Beatles album, All Things Must Pass. George was the youngest Beatle and was less confident in his songwriting abilities in the beginning. Toward the end he felt that his songs were not given the respect they deserved by John and Paul. One of his greatest Beatles-era songs, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, was completely dismissed until he brought his friend Eric Clapton into the studio to help him record it. All Things Must Pass has several songs that were begun or even completed while George was still with the Beatles but were not put on any album.
They've done 4 reactions to George's songs, 2 as a Beatle, 1 as a Wilbury and 1 solo and I still don't believe they know who he is or his contributions. After their 4th reaction they were asking for more information/songs by him as if they'd never heard of him before.
If you listen carefully during the guitar solo, the backup singers throw in a "Hare Krishna," which was mixed way down. This is a nod to George Harrison's 1970 hit "My Sweet Lord," where he sings the mantra. Could you please react to Photograph by Ringo Starr
Ringo is almost 83 and still out there playing, always with a tremendous lineup of friends who are top musicians. He followed this one up with Back Off Boogaloo the next year in 1972. You should give it a listen. He did sing several Beatles tunes, most notably With A Little Help From My Friends and Yellow Submarine. He wrote and sang Octopus's Garden off Abbey Road. I think Photograph was his most popular solo song.
Ringo has written children's books and painted portraits, along with always being willing to listen to a record and share a review, just a kind man, thoughtful and funny too!
When Ringo was still with the Beatles he sang lead on 'Octopus' Garden', 'What Goes On', 'With A Little Help From My Friends', 'Don't Pass Me By', and my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE...'YELLOW SUBMARINE'.
Ringo is all about peace and love and his songs reflect that. He generally ‘was allowed’ about one per album. Most well known and impossible not to smile when listening too. Octopus’ Garden, Yellow Submarine, With a little help from my friends!

George Harrison is a gold mine of great music. His last gig was The Traveling Wilburys with the late Tom Petty, and Roy Orbison, and Bob Dylan and Jeff Lynn. A full life of music. George wrote "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" as a Beatle and others.
Written and produced for him by his friend and fellow Beatle George Harrison. George also recorded his own version of this song which also sounds really good.
George recorded his version first and used it as a vocal guide for Ringo. In fact many of the tracks on George's were used on Ringo's... i.e. the Hare Krishna's in George's are still in the middle guitar solo - break - they're covered by the added horns in Ringo's. The song as a whole is full of George's signature - i.e. to begin with the opening arpeggios are "Badge" (Cream) like. Many of the musicians used on the song also played on All Things Must Pass. In any measure... this song and Ringo's Photograph are reflecting of the break up of the Beatles.
It WASN'T written by George,or recorded by him! Check your facts. Harrison helped with Ringo's already written song and certainly with the music. He didn't record his own version,he did a guide vocal which is the version you heard.
George Harrison's solo work is another amazing catalogue of classics: "My Sweet Lord", "What Is Life"' "Give Me Love", and my all time favorite, "Isn't It a Pity" are just the tip of the iceberg into his spirituality. The Beatles have been called a band that comes along once in a millennium because of their influence on pop culture. We will never again see the like of them.
Second (or Third) "What is Life." One of the best songs ever really. There is a new video for it that George Harrison's estate had made. It is absolutely delightful.
As far as the "other" Beatle, George Harrison, is concerned, you guys have already reacted to at least 4 of his songs: While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles, This is Love by George as a solo artist, and End of the Line by the Traveling Wilburys.
People scream it at them every time they're oblivious to George, and the only possible conclusion is that they don't read comments, in spite of their repeated claims to.
@@BlackHatCinephile I know. As much as I enjoy watching these two it's clear they really don't read the comments. There are 993 of them as I write, probably very many of them mentioning George Harrison, and that's a lot, but just picking out a selection would reveal that mystery fourth Beatle they've 'never' listened to. A bit of post-song research wouldn't come amiss either. For example, I'm not the biggest Beatles fan in the world and didn't know this was a George Harrison song (though I should have guessed, as George is my favourite Beatle) - and I found that out in the very first comment on my screen! If they'd looked up a few facts about the song, oh look, written by George Harrison, wasn't he in the Beatles too, oh look, got to #4 in both the UK singles and Billboard chart . . . There's no harm in that.
@Black Hat Cinephile - I can't tell you how many times I alone have told them about George, given them a little history and suggested songs. Now add everyone else that has provided info......there is NO WAY they are reading the comments. Or they are only reading a select few. What I find frustrating is they ask us, the viewers, to give them all this history, but, they can't be bothered to read it. How in the world do you react to FOUR different George Harrison songs and still not know who he is.....in spite of EVERYONE telling you who he is?!
@@FatBottomedGirl More and more, they post boring stuff that nobody cares about, and I wonder if they do it in defense of their rap. This is, in my opinion, one of the two best post-Beatles songs ever done by any former Beatle. The other one is "What Is Life" by George Harrison, done around the same time. You should check it out next.
There is a band that was discovered and mentored by the Beatles in the early 70's called Badfinger. I highly recommend checking them out, starting with their song Baby Blue.
The Neighborhood Picnic Band does GREAT covers of both this song and Baby Blue. If you haven't already, you might want to check them out. They are really, really good.
@@futurereflections4097 it was mentioned in the press - that when Baby Blue was played at the end of the Breaking Bad T.V. show - sales of the track took a huge jump in sales.
Please consider reacting to George Harrison's "What Is Life". It is my absolute favorite solo song by any of the former Beatles. Beautiful song and amazing production. If you liked the feel of "It Don't Come Easy" you'll love it (it has horns!).
The fact that 4 people so talented, just happened to all be around at the same place at the same time. It's mind blowing. They're will never be another group like The Beatles!
Ringo was an underrated drummer & singer. Starr's playing style emphasized feel over technical skill. He occasionally sang lead vocals with the Beatles usually for one song on each album, including "Yellow Submarine", "With A Little Help From My Friends" & "I Wanna Be Your Man". He also wrote and sang the Beatles' songs "Don't Pass Me By" & "Octopus's Garden". He also had a great solo career with the songs "It Don't Come Easy", "Photograph", "You're Sixteen" & "Back Off Boogaloo".
@@asfdadfgdasfh4444 John could be a dick... but it was for the camera. Ringo actually wasn't the best technical drummer, but who cares, his backing for every Beatles song was absolutely spot-on. You can recognize most of their songs just by hearing the drums.
"Got to pay your dues if you want to sing the blues..." fabulous line. Ringo has a nice career. "Please remember peace and how we make it..." pure Ringo always peace and love.
He did two videos for "Got My Mind Set on You"...The one everyone knows with the animatronics, and another with a young Joey Lauren Adams in a minimalist arcade that I think was pulled for being a bit risque because of her age.
@@dimedraweriv258 I'll take your word for it and stand corrected. In my defense, that version was only shown a very few times. Julie was already old enough for them to have portrayed her however she was willing, but she still looked quite young.
I think it was actually George? My Sweet Lord hit in Dec 1970, just months after the breakup. I think Ringo's first #1 was Photograph in 1973. (Though it could be a difference of US/UK charts?) Love Ringo though! He's probably my favorite. 💕
Ringo and his All Stars- Ringo did super group concerts where various artists would gather with him and cover different tunes. They are great concerts to watch.
This song came out in the Spring of 1971 just about a year after the Beatle Breakup. It was and still is my favorite post Beatle song by Ringo. As for Ringo during his Beatle days, check out "Don't Pass Me By" from the White Album!!
That's George Harrison on guitar, BTW, so we have half the Beatles here. Ringo is credited as the sole songwriter, but if you search this song online, it seems fairly certain that George helped his old bandmate put this track together.
If you want to smile a great fun song from Ringo is the "No-No" song. I always loved it, it's just a fun song to listen to. He also did a movie called "Caveman" that was pretty hilarious. The man has a great sense of humor.
Ringo was always the underrated Beatle, due in some part to his chill laid-back style. He also wasn't one of those drummers who ever wanted a solo. He felt his job was to keep time, keep the beat, not to show off. That's the thing that people have a hard time understanding, Paul and John get a lot of glory for the song writing, but as a band, they were a band, a unit. There was no front man. All four of them sang lead at different times, usually on the songs they wrote. And then all four of them went off to have solo careers, though for the most part I think each one of them always yearned to be back in a band. George Harrison literally said as much when asked why he would be part of the Traveling Willburys. Ringo has been touring with his group Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band for years.
George Harrison on guitar, Klaus Voorman (an old friend of the Beatles and the guy who drew the Revolver album cover) on bass, Mal Evans (Beatles road manager and personal assistant) on tambourine, Pete Ham and Tom Evans (singer songwriters of Badfinger, the first group signed to the Beatles' Apple label ) on backing vocals.
George Harrison was the other Beatle. He had a great solo career. Check out Ringo Starr's group, Ringo Starr's All Star Band. Great musicians from various groups.
After the Beatles break up, Ringo played a Teddy Boy in ''That'll be the day'' film in 1973, alongside a young David Essex. A good film that was a hit in the UK cinema's.
I ALWAYS LOVED THIS SONG…from the time I was a child and I’m almost 60! The Beatles were one of a kind together and separate! I doubt we will ever have another experience like them!!!
I actually loved all the Beatles solo music, especially George Harrison's and Ringo's. You got to do "Photograph" by Ringo Starr! And my favorite, George Harrison, had some absolutely gorgeous songs, "What is Life" and "My Sweet Lord" are 2 of my favorites!
Ringo has always been aware of his vocal limitations and has always done stuff that works for him..he tours almost every summer ..Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band..a rotating group of musician friends!
One of the wonderful things about the post-breakup Beatles is how all the band members helped and supported Ringo's solo career. On this song, George Harrison produced and played guitar. There were other songs where Paul and John contributed as well (although not together lol).
Ringo had at least one song on every Beatles album. Check out "Act Naturally", "Yellow Submarine", "With a Little Help from my Friends", and the one he wrote: "Octopusses Garden".
I love Octopus' Garden because it's such a happy, carefree song. Another Beatles song that sounds happy and carefree is "Maxwell's Silver Hammer," sung by Paul, but about a serial killer. What a paradox.
George Martin would say, all of Ringo's lead vocals were in a small range. One song was always for him and revolved around his limited vocal range. A little help from my friends my favorite
For decades, he has toured with a mix & match supergroup he calls Ringo Starr's All-Starr Band. The idea is that every member comes from a successful band of their own. The lineup changes year to year. They play Ringo's hits of course, but everybody has their own moment to shine onstage. For instance, the keyboardist from Santana sings his songs, Todd Rundgren does his solo stuff, and Ringo's actual brother-in-law Joe Walsh does songs from his Eagles, James Gang, and solo careers. A Ringo's All-Starr Band concert is just hit after hit after hit, no matter who's in the band at the time. And Ringo himself goes between playing drums in the back to fronting the band on a mic.
I have seen the All Starr Band twice and they are just great. Different lineups, so different shows. After one show, there was too much traffic so his entourage vehicles were parked a little way away. Ringo decided to run to his vehicle, with all of the house security panting behind him. Check out the No No Song and Photograph. Great songs, great drummer, great performer, and seems like a great guy.
Ringo is the happy go lucky Beatle whose career was helped mightily in the early 70s by his friend, George Harrison. Even better than this great song is the symphonic masterpiece, Photograph.
The Pretenders- you could even do them on Female Friday due to Chrissy Hynde being their lead singer. She’s credited as one of the most important women to rock. Message of Love, Show Me the Meaning of the Word, Kid- they were extremely influential
I meet her once at this concert in a small venue in Las Vegas. We were watching this new band, which I wish I could remember who they were. Anyway it was a great night besides meeting her!
Just a tidbit of info: EVERY member of THE BEATLES had at least TWO NUMBER ONE HITS as a solo artist. That's an indication of how good these guys were.... ...now do YEAR OF THE CAT by AL STEWART. It's got everything you two like in one song: Instruments, sound production, great melodies....
Ringo-- an immensely lovable human being! Ringo isn't known as a great singer, but the songs he sang with The Beatles were always fun: Yellow Submarine, of course, Octopus's Garden, Don't Pass Me By, Boys, and Act Naturally.
Ringo still tours with "Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band." It's a supergroup that shifts its lineup of musicians. I'm not sure how much the pandemic affected their annual tour, but it sounds like they're planning 2022 dates.
"Photograph" is another wonderful song by Ringo. George Harrison, the Beatle you didn't mention had a stellar solo career starting with his triple album masterpiece, "All Things Must Pass."
ringo was amazing...love this song---his album "beaucoups of blues" is my fave....its like his version of dylan's nashville skyline album, just a nice, little mellow daze album
Perfect example of the "big soundscape" that was some of the best product of the 70's. Soulful, poppy, rocky, and just cool! Ringo's vocal is the sound of "the every-man". He had at least one vocal on each Beatles' album.
You forgot "With a Little Help From My Friends", "I Wanna Be Your Man." Others listed below more songs that Ringo sang with the Beatles, before he went solo.
My favorite song of his solo career. Thanks to George Harrison with his writing and production. This actually is one of my favorite songs of the 70s. One of his other songs "Photograph" is really nice too. Definitely worth a reaction.
He was lead singer on several Beatles’ songs, generally the western or Rockabilly-themed ones. I think he’s at his best singing Honey, Don’t with the Beatles.
George Harrison is the other Beatle and you really should listen to his music. It's all good. My Sweet Lord, Here Comes the Sun, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, All Things Must Pass...
I don't recommend a deep dive into Ringo's solo career, but he does have at least one more song worth hearing, "Photograph". The other Beatle that you didn't mention is George Harrison, and he had a solo career too. From him I'd start with "My Sweet Lord", followed by "What Is Life?". I prefer The Beatles together to Beatles solo, but they did some good stuff solo too. The Beatles were so great together that it would be hard for anything to equal that.
Ringo has been the featured lead singer on several of the Beatles' songs, such as "Yellow Submarine", "Octopuss' Garden" or "With A Little Help from My Friends". Some of Ringo's solo tunes are: "The No No Song", "You're Sixteen", "Oh My My", "Photograph", "Only You" and "Back Off Boogaloo".
To experience the Beatles even further, watch their movies: "A Hard Day's Night" and "Help!" You'll get to experience Beatlemania and see them as people and not just musicians.
I fell in love with the Beatles in high school when the Beatles Anthology was on TV in the 90s. I highly recommend it! It was a couple nights long. I learned so much about them. George Harrison is my favorite Beatle, then Ringo. I saw Ringo in high school with my mom. I screamed and cried. I could not believe I was seeing a Beatle. My mom held me up because she thought I was going to faint, lol. He opened with this song and I lost it! Lol. Years later I got to see Paul McCartney in concert. Then a few years ago I saw George Harrison’s son Dhani. All great musicians and performers! BTW, I love your videos. What a beautiful couple!

This was the perfect radio hit. A great song from a Beatle. He’s such a cool dude to this day.
Ringo Starr wrote this song with George helping him finish it. George did not write this for him.
It WASN'T written by George,or recorded by him! Check your facts. Harrison helped with Ringo's already written song and certainly with the music. He didn't record his own version,he did a guide vocal which is the version you heard.
@@tommack9395 There isn't a "George version", although you're correct about the guide vocal.
Sorry George actually wrote it and gave it Ringo. Check out George's version it's herein TH-cam
What Is Life is one of my favorite songs by anyone. One of those songs that when I am feeling down, always helps.
Second (or Third) "What is Life." One of the best songs ever really. There is a new video for it that George Harrison's estate had made. It is absolutely delightful.
I truly love what is life
As far as the "other" Beatle, George Harrison, is concerned, you guys have already reacted to at least 4 of his songs: While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles, This is Love by George as a solo artist, and End of the Line by the Traveling Wilburys.
Like, afraid that posting stuff about amazing classic rock would make their rap look bad. I'm realizing this whole thing is insincere. They don't really care about the music, they're just head-bopping for cash, the easiest gimmick on TH-cam.
Yep
George wrote this song and gave it to Ringo. You can definitely hear George influences in this one. A great song!!!
This is, in my opinion, one of the two best post-Beatles songs ever done by any former Beatle. The other one is "What Is Life" by George Harrison, done around the same time. You should check it out next.
I ABSOLUTELY agree with you! Good taste, my friend :)
I also love What is Life, but I also really think Blow Away is cute but magnificent
There is a band that was discovered and mentored by the Beatles in the early 70's called Badfinger. I highly recommend checking them out, starting with their song Baby Blue.
That song is great and always reminds me of breaking bad
Day after Day is also a good one of theirs to do. They also originally did Without You, which became #1 hits for both Harry Nilsson and Mariah Carey.
Great suggestion!
Written by Ringo & George Harrison, produced by George. To my ears, it has always reflected George's style much more than Ringo's.
Bingo! This might as well be a George song with Ringo on lead vocals.
Definitely got George's fingerprints on it. It's got the "Savoy Truffle" horns.
Please consider reacting to George Harrison's "What Is Life". It is my absolute favorite solo song by any of the former Beatles. Beautiful song and amazing production. If you liked the feel of "It Don't Come Easy" you'll love it (it has horns!).
Completely agree. “What is life” is, what I think Rob Squad would call a ‘VIBE’. Loved the way Scorcese Used What Is Life in Goodfellas!
Good suggestion!
YES !!!
The fact that 4 people so talented, just happened to all be around at the same place at the same time. It's mind blowing. They're will never be another group like The Beatles!
"Photograph" by Ringo Starr was a number 1 hit in US, Australia and Canada.
@@asfdadfgdasfh4444 It wasn't Lennon that said that. It was British comedian Jasper Carrott, who was telling a joke.
We are still singing and discussing the Beatles and each members songs 60 years later. Cant be underrated with that history!
At age 6. Started playing drums. Ringo was my mentor. 1964. Keith Moon.
Underrated?
*"Photograph"* is a great Ringo hit, too!
Also, "Back Off Boogaloo" "You're Sixteen" "No, No" and also "Early 1970" are all worth checking out.
Early 1970 breaks my heart.
"Got to pay your dues if you want to sing the blues..." fabulous line. Ringo has a nice career. "Please remember peace and how we make it..." pure Ringo always peace and love.
Peace and Love. That is Ringo's message to the world.
My favorite Beatle. Always down to earth, a regular guy with a great sense of humour.
Every Beatle had individual careers and hit. Ringo was also in movies.
They did Traveling Wilburys and still have no idea who George Harrison is.
Yes. He was great in Cavemen!
Can't forget Shining Time Station!
George Harrison (the other Beatle) was part of The Traveling Wilburys. Two memorable songs of his (among many): "This Song" "Got My Mind Set on You"
They've reacted to George a couple of times but they haven't figured out he was a Beatle
Which obviously means they don't pay attention to the comments at all.
He did two videos for "Got My Mind Set on You"...The one everyone knows with the animatronics, and another with a young Joey Lauren Adams in a minimalist arcade that I think was pulled for being a bit risque because of her age.
That wasn't her it was Julie McCullough. I know this because she's my cousin. She was a playboy playmate and was on the show Growing Pains.
@@dimedraweriv258 I'll take your word for it and stand corrected. In my defense, that version was only shown a very few times. Julie was already old enough for them to have portrayed her however she was willing, but she still looked quite young.
Ringo was the first Beatle to have a solo hit after the breakup.
I think it was actually George? My Sweet Lord hit in Dec 1970, just months after the breakup. I think Ringo's first #1 was Photograph in 1973. (Though it could be a difference of US/UK charts?) Love Ringo though! He's probably my favorite. 💕
@@ImmortalBroken You’re right, though Backoff Bugaloo was in 1972.
George Harrison wrote this song, & gave it to Ringo!
Ringo rocks! Great choice guys! SMILE 😃
one of my first favorite popular songs.
Ringo’s solo work is lighthearted and fun. “Back Off Boogaloo” is my favorite.
Mine too, a damn good one👍✌️
Ringo and his All Stars- Ringo did super group concerts where various artists would gather with him and cover different tunes. They are great concerts to watch.
Ringo and his All Star Band were still touring before covid.
I have tickets for this summer in Pittsburgh!
George Harrison and Ringo Starr have always been my favorite Beetles. This is a good one!
He also met his wife, Barbara Bach, on the set of Caveman.
Underrated drummer? People that play regard him as one of the all time greats
And Gary Wright on piano and produced by George Harrison.
Wow..! I remember all that..!!!!
I didn't know about Pete Ham and Tom Evans on the backing vocals...thanks for that bit of info. RIP to both of them.
My favorite song back in the day
I love to see you guys smile ! I know I can always count on you !
Ringo has had a great solo career
He and George sang several Beatles tunes
George Harrison was the other Beatle. He had a great solo career. Check out Ringo Starr's group, Ringo Starr's All Star Band. Great musicians from various groups.
His all star band is a lot of fun in concert.
It has been said George didn't write as many good songs as John and Paul, but he did write as many great songs.
Ringo was a bit of an actor too. In 1981 he starred in a movie called "Caveman". Which was purposely cheesy but, soooo hysterical! 😂
His first solo single - and his best. Ringo wrote very few of his own songs. But I love this one. George Harrison produced it and played on it.
Ringo didn't write any songs like Elvis.
and GH wrote it and then gave Ringo a writing credit :)
@@glassontherocks My comment wasn't meant as a diss...just wanted to clear that up...
@@glassontherocks Ringo wrote Don't Pass Me By and Octopus's Garden, Back Off Boogaloo, plus he co wrote alot with Vini Poncia, and later Mark Hudson.
George definitely had his guitar influence stands right out on this song ✌️
George Harrison: "My Sweet Lord" was the first number one by a Beatle after they went solo.
I am a huge Beatles fan and I love how they all branched off and did such different music from each other.
The "other" Beatle you were wondering about is *George Harrison*.
He also had a great solo career AND he was in *The Traveling Wilburys*
Never knew this. Thanks for the info !
That’s George on guitar. He also helped Ringo write the song and George produced the song.
YES -PRETENDERS!!!
Loved Brass in Pocket
I meet her once at this concert in a small venue in Las Vegas. We were watching this new band, which I wish I could remember who they were. Anyway it was a great night besides meeting her!
@Nancy Smith is not wrong!
Chrissie is my favorite female singer!!!💜🎶👌🎼👍🎵✌️😁
Just a tidbit of info: EVERY member of THE BEATLES had at least TWO NUMBER ONE HITS as a solo artist. That's an indication of how good these guys were....
...now do YEAR OF THE CAT by AL STEWART. It's got everything you two like in one song: Instruments, sound production, great melodies....
....also Time Passages is another great one by Al Stewart.....
Yes, please do Year of the Cat!
Ringo-- an immensely lovable human being! Ringo isn't known as a great singer, but the songs he sang with The Beatles were always fun: Yellow Submarine, of course, Octopus's Garden, Don't Pass Me By, Boys, and Act Naturally.
I heard George 's guitar as soon as the song started. Next should be the wonderful song called "Photograph"
I was 14 years old in 1971 ! Thanks Ringo & George for this musical gem🎸🎸🎸🥁🎹🎵🎵
My favorite Beatle, Ringo Starr
He has a man's voice, not those high girly voices of John and Paul
Perfect example of the "big soundscape" that was some of the best product of the 70's. Soulful, poppy, rocky, and just cool!
Ringo's vocal is the sound of "the every-man". He had at least one vocal on each Beatles' album.
I had never heard this song. I didn't know Ringo actually sang any songs in his life. He sounded amazing.
Ringo sang lead on a few Beatles' songs like "Boys", "Yellow Submarine", "Goodnight" & "Octopus' Garden".
Octopus garden is classic.
You forgot "With a Little Help From My Friends", "I Wanna Be Your Man." Others listed below more songs that Ringo sang with the Beatles, before he went solo.
How can you forget the "No No" song?lol...
I absolutely LOVE the guitar work on this song.
George Harrison on guitar.
Ringo has always been my favorite Beatle. When I was growing up I loved his sense of humor, and his entire cool persona.
Love Ringo!! Great song….also Photograph. No No song and many more as well as collaborations!! Bravo
My favorite song of his solo career. Thanks to George Harrison with his writing and production. This actually is one of my favorite songs of the 70s. One of his other songs "Photograph" is really nice too. Definitely worth a reaction.
All of the Beatles had great solo careers. They are as a group and individually in the rock and roll Hall of Fame.
He was lead singer on several Beatles’ songs, generally the western or Rockabilly-themed ones. I think he’s at his best singing Honey, Don’t with the Beatles.
Ringo is still out there doing live shows touring.
I loved Ringo when he had his solo career started . I was a little kid when this came out and loved his songs
George Harrison is the other Beatle and you really should listen to his music. It's all good. My Sweet Lord, Here Comes the Sun, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, All Things Must Pass...
Agree totally.
Ringo Starr also played a great part in the early 80s movie "Caveman" as Atook. Classic movie if you've never seen it.
We wouldn't even be walking upright if not for Ringo! 🙃
❤️
Ringo has been the featured lead singer on several of the Beatles' songs, such as "Yellow Submarine", "Octopuss' Garden" or "With A Little Help from My Friends". Some of Ringo's solo tunes are: "The No No Song", "You're Sixteen", "Oh My My", "Photograph", "Only You" and "Back Off Boogaloo".
I saw Ringo Starr and His All Star Band in the 90s. Second row and was a mind blowing concert.
To experience the Beatles even further, watch their movies: "A Hard Day's Night" and "Help!" You'll get to experience Beatlemania and see them as people and not just musicians.
Now you should do "My Sweet Lord" by George Harrison. You will love the vibe of that one.
I've been fortunate enough to see Ringo and his All-Star Band twice. He always puts on a great show.
Ringo has been touring for several years with his "all starr band" including this year
