Playlist to full series: th-cam.com/play/PLuJlFxNoN-hlhrqnldyruMqSX9J-OkSrR.html Thank you all for your overwhelming support and love! It's a huge relief that everyone generally likes the video. I took a huge narrative risk when I decided to explore the most hated character from OUTI2F and tried to make the viewer feel something for him. And I intentionally made it harder for myself, by dragging the most beloved character even further down. I consciously challenged myself as a writer, and you guys - the viewers. It seems like a lot of you caught on to the themes that I wanted to telegraph, and it makes me especially happy given how convoluted the story is! Maybe someday I'll do a commentary and go deeper behind the scenes. But for now, I'll leave you with this series in its purest form. I know it's not perfect, I might have bit off more than I could chew, and I was learning as I went along - but I did my best to deliver this story to you. And I am eternally grateful to have so many passionate and supportive viewers! I am very lucky to have people care for my work, and couldn't have asked for more. Much love to you all!
Thank you for the work you've given us all this time, I've been watching since I was a kid and saw this today, glad to see this come to some kind of conclusion, I hope to see more SFM from you in the future.
The Scout was originally followed, and I sympathized with him, but I had to remember that the whole story was about the cursed helmet, and the sufferings that each victim went through. Very poetic and very real.
I'm glad to be here to witness history being made and to see this wonderful work that inspired me to make an SFM series all those 11 years ago to successfully reach the ending of its journey. I understand the struggles and just how difficult it is to reach the end of something like this, but once again, I'm very happy for you to see it finished, so that you can move on to new things. It was a pleasure seeing it being developed, and to also be a part of its history by helping you myself. It's come full circle - from a fan 11 years ago, to a someone who helped it reach the end today. Even if it was a rather small help, I'm just honored to be a part of helping it become a finalized work of art. K.R, whatever happens, just know that the people who were inspired by your work and enjoy whatever you make, will follow you. You have incredible talent, and a good amount of us can see that. I do wish you gain wonderful growth from this last episode, but even if it doesn't happen as much as we'd hope, just be aware that a good amount of us will always appreciate and support you until the end. And I'm glad to be a part of that group. Wishing you the best for the future to come!
Of all the routes this story could've taken, I never imagined one where the protagonist and antagonist switch places. But this episode makes it all click into place.
Crazy to think I was only 10 when I first saw once upon 2fort and now I'm 21 watching last episode this was a pleasure watching this and your hardwork!! Thank you so much
Thank you for finishing this series. Ngl, at first I was thinking "Why is Pyro acting like this all of a sudden? Isn't he a bad guy? Why would he want to destroy the helmet now?". Then that ending (and a look back at the previous episode) made it all click into place. The Pyro and Scout essentially went through similar circumstances. They both became obsessed with the helmet after all/most of their team died. Pyro tried to 'replace' or sort of 'revive' his dead comrades using the helmet's power, unable to realise how he's tormenting their souls by not moving on. Scout became somewhat traumatised after his teammates' deaths, with the helmet further ruining his sanity. I guess after pyro's encounter with death in the last episode, it made him look back at his actions and realise the helmet needed to be destroyed, and to put his (and I guess scout's dead comrades) to proper rest. It definitely makes the 'Ghosts of the Past' title all the more fitting. A tragic story about both of them being lost in obsession, now finally being able to rest from the past.
I am extremely gutted that your master piece of a series didn't get very popular, especially since I have been watching it for a while. But I think everyone here, all your fans and followers appreciate you finishing the story. The ending did make me tear up making me feel sad for the pyro but understanding his past mistakes caught up with him. It was good he can be with the scout again. Genuinely this was a master piece and I hope you continue to make content no matter how big or small. Edit: I will continue to make fan art of this series still :D If you remember what I made.
"I....really have no excuse." This line really was deep for me. It made me stay up all night thinking deep. What a masterpiece of a series, I wish I could erase my memories so I can watch it for the first time again like I did so many years ago. Good job on this. I really do appreciate you for making a piece of my childhood.
This is an amazing surprise as watching this series has always been a huge inspiration to me ever since I begun working with SFM myself. The storytelling, both vocal and _especially_ non-vocal are just unbeatable ever since the first episodes. "Behind the Mask" is my all time favourite for how loaded and cinematic piece it is and I will always come back watching the whole series again and again to scratch that itch for seeing sublime storytelling skills. The YT algorithm may not have treated you well, but know that you've done a great service to the SFM community with each and every upload! All of my sincerest respect to you K.R.
To be honest from what I gathered from this story, it's the feeling of grief and lost but also existence, in a way. How after death, we left something behind. Memories of who we once were. In death we become ghosts in people's heads. It's cool seeing perspectives of how life and death effect other people throughout this series. I loved this series throughout each episode I waited for, and I'm glad it finally got it's conclusion. You made an amazing story and it was worth the wait.
Didn’t think anyone would notice lol. There’s a similar cameo in episode 6 that nobody mentioned to this day. Its like 1 or 2 frames, and it’s quite silly so maybe its for the best haha
Leaving this comment before the premiere. We've spoken earlier about this but I want to leave my message here in case you need to see it again someday in the future: I remember seeing your serie before I met you and I still remember how it inspired me. It was the golden era of SFM if you will. I can't believe it has been already 11(!) years. This really deserves to be celebrated. Took you 11 years to finish this and you've made it man. No-one else but you! You've made it with sheer will, dedication and all this to also present us an ending to your serie. A fitting closure, I am sure. Respect and appreciation is what I want to give you. Be proud of what you've done. You've created something that many only dream of. There's depth, care, good story telling on this, attention to the detail...the list goes on. Even if you think it's not perfect (it doesn't have to be), it will be perfect as it is, with flaws or not. I will savour this last episode and salute your effort despite all the severe hardships you've been through, with SFM being SFM, with the mocap misbehaving, with what's happening IRL... My congratulations to you, Kostantin!
That description is insane and... I mean please do not blame all misgivings and troubles with the development of this film as "your own fault". Sfm is hard to work with and its harder when you’re in a country in war. I respect your work highly and greatly, and I showed your latest entry in this series, episode 5, it to friends in a film class in my highschool as a masterful demonstration of tone, pacing, shot composition, lighting, and editing. My sfm works burn and die after a month. My brain either collapses in on itself focusing too deeply on the details or by simply loosing momentum to finish a project. From severe and crippling adhd, I "delude" myself into thinking that THIS project would be the one I finish I tell myself, knowing that 196 dead or to-be-finished projects are rotting in my file library, purely because of the hype that flows into my brain because of the joy an 'idea' or 'action piece' gives me, how cool it would be to fully execute in film or how awesome this joke or meme is. The short term gratification blocking, and animating initial shots, storyboarding progressions of plot give me are potent and deluding, I always grind to a halt knowing that to finish it would require 2569 times more unsatisfying work and labor than what it took to string up 19 seconds of lifelike animation. I have the skill, I have the talent, and I have absolutely no skill and no talent in applying them over a set amount of time. Animation is this truly evil thing where every second 48 minutes if your fast and 3 hours if you hate yourself. I know how much this takes, requires, needs. Every sane man here on the planet looks at your work and tells you that you should be proud, OR that your films have genuine artistic merit and value. I am not alone here, many, many people have said that to you about your work. I have stopped using sfm, and have switched to blender. I am glad I have made this decision. I too am someone who is dealing with depression, and that description hit hard... The second guessing, self hatred, self blame, deep sorrow for ones self and lifestanding. Wanting to delete your channel, wanting to delete yourself. You are doing well buddy, its excellent work. Don't burn yourself out and make sure you have time for yourself. I hope you have a good future.
It actually means a lot to know that my videos are watched in a film class... I don't have an education in filmmaking, I'm just a film buff who learned some tidbits here and there. And it was always kind of embarrassing to be playing pretend-director with my silly videos... So it still amazes me that people get inspired by them! Thank you for your kind comment, @stanley8006 ! Also, I'm making baby steps towards Blender too. :) I want to make my next short TF2 video in it, but I'm still getting my bearings.
Damn what a ride, I forgot this channel existed until I saw this in my sub feed and remembered "Hey, this is the guy that made once upon a time in 2fort" and proceeded to rewatch everything to catch up before watching this. MAN, I'm happy that this had a great conclusion. Seeing how much you progressed over the years was amazing, and contrary to how you feel about this series from reading the description, I think this series is your mangum opus and you should be proud of sticking through to the end. I"m looking forward to what you make next.
For pyros redemption arc, this was fantastic, even though pyro did everything he can to fix everything, he still had to pay the price of his actions, and he accepts it as we should too, no matter how much we try to fix the problem, we'll still have to pay the price soon Forgot to mention, the symbol of scout reaching his hand out to pyro out of forgiveness is honestly really heartwarming
Ten years ago, I saw this series as a child and it was like a little miracle to me to wait and watch new episodes. Glad to see how the story ended, how a little history of an era ended. Thank you, Легенда.
Never been more excited for an SFM in my life! The original Once Upon A Time In 2-Fort is my favorite SFM of all time, and I'm so excited to finally see the conclusion of this series after so many years!
Oh my god, it's over. All the congratulations to you for finishing this gorgeous, heart-wrenching and emotional story, hope you're doing okay and enjoying yourself. Amazing job! And I love your RED Spy character man
You might not be completely satisfied with what you made, but honestly for me, you did more than enough. You finally got to finish your story, not many people have the luxury to see their favorite works/series get an actual conclusion but you provided it to the fans to the end. At the end of the day, no matter the quality, you can be happy that you got to end this chapter, but I'm sure there's a better chapter coming in the future now. I'll be excited to see whatever else you have in store, this time with more knowledge anc experience.
12 years ago I clicked on a cool looking video after my school ended. 12 years form there, im watching this after I came home from work. Thank you Konstantine, this was my childhood.
Hey, I've been following this series for a while after I found it when I was a bit younger. I think I was here when you started making "Ghosts of the Past". Anyways, I'm pursuing a creative career, so I understand the feeling of never being satisfied with the works you make. However, I hope you understand that many of the greats in creative careers (film making, music composers, artists, writers, etc) also felt the same about their works, and some even died believing their career had been a failure. I can personally name quite a few. Even so, I hope you understand that we see the beauty in what you've made; that we, as your audience, are able to see the big picture with all its colors, not nitpicking over the direction of a single brush stroke. To be honest, I don't have anything to nitpick about. You've done a fine job, and this project of yours, even if you believe it small, is a cornerstone of TF2 Film. Good job! I hope you enjoy not having this hang over your head anymore, cause you deserve it!
Thank you @braden1553 for saying this. I always felt very lucky that everyone who watched my videos were so forgiving of all the flaws. And it's difficult to comprehend too, because I see nothing but flaws and break into sweats when I need to rewatch my older videos for reference... But people accept them for what they are. It's like we're watching different channels or something lol
Holy crap. I’ve been reminiscing about Once upon a Time in 2fort a lot recently. I come back to rewatch and discover that 10 years of storytelling has gone on, and only ended 3 months ago. Fantastic work man
What a way to end the series! The subtlety in facial animation and body movements really makes this feel like an award winning tv show or movie! I joined the TF2 community 10 years ago and your Once Upon a Time in 2Fort videos were one of the first SFMs I saw. It was amazing to see your progress over the 10 years I've spent watching your channel, and to see the conclusion to the series that helped me get motivated to use SFM all those years ago is so surreal. Thank you for taking your time with your videos man, this series turned out ever so better because of it :)
Hey K.R. I am so very thankful that you made this story and shared it with all of us, and am sorry with how you came to resent this that you created. I know you fell out of love, and making every episode must have been a stressful challenge, but please let it be known that I appreciate everything. From each episode to every frame. Thank you for giving my younger self a story to look forward to, and solace as I grew up. I’ve watched and rewatched these episodes multiple times. I’ve stressed over the characters, smiled, and cried, and have sat at the edge of my seat on multiple occasions. This story was one of the first SFMs I ever happened across, and it really did cement my love of animation and inspire me. I thought well into the night about what ifs that spiraled into my own stories, that remain in my head to this day. I’ve started writing from that, tried some hours in SFM because of it. You really have inspired me in ways I cannot thank you enough for, so I hope this comment suffices. Thank you so much, and I really hope that wherever you go or what you do next, you enjoy it.
It's been one hell of a journey with series started and ending like this! Especially the quote "I really have no excuse" made me think about it. The meaning itself
4:37 This Medic looks like he understands pyro. Thank you for your hard work finishing a work for over 10 years. ( I am not good at English, so I used a translator.)
oh man, I really didn't think I would be sitting here crying over the ending when I watched the first episodes of this series :( The worldbuilding in it was a huge inspiration for my own SFM series (still only consisting of the first episode lol but episode two is in the works) and even though I wont go beyond that story I wanna tell because I just don't have as much time to work on it as I used to, I kinda have an idea of the life of my characters besides the usual 2fort RED vs BLU fight (which I kinda wanna explore more but like I said time issues haha) It was really great! Especially seeing all the Story threads tied together. Good work :) (And it's always a nice motivation that there were so huge timegaps between your episodes, kinda reassuring that I'm not the only one taking who's taking his time lol)
I don't know how long I followed this series, but to see the finale was made, I had to binge the series once more, and man, this is some of the best art Ive seen in a while. solid storytelling from A to B, and nothing is gonna beat in my mind, the way scout had finally keeled over and died, in a nice memory, undercut by his own death. to have the main character role shift to pyro, and us realizing the true villain of the piece, is whoever uses the helmet. 10/10 series
Wow, I really wasn't sure I would ever see the day. A decade on since I first saw Once Upon a Time in 2fort, the story has finally met it's conclusion. K.R., you have done an incredible job in telling one of the most heart-wrenching, bone chilling and sometimes endearing stories in the history of Source Filmmaker. Thank you for the hard work and dedication. I can't wait to see what you have in store for the future.
I remember starting this in middleschool. Im 20 now and its crazy to see this finally conclude. All the hard work you put into this shows in every scene. I dont think ive seen anybody make such a compelling story with the limited tools of source film maker like you have K.R. thank you for finishing this story. Every episode showed progress and got better and better. Ill probably come back to this time and time again as i grow older tbh.
Brother no way i never thought i will see the finale i just want to say thank you for all the work efford and time you put in this series ghost of the past will always be im my mind thank you for this amazing project
man. That was fire. While I’m still tryna figure out what exactly it means, that ending was still so crazy. Seems like the legacy of that golden era of TF2 SFMs really ends with this. Great work here man, proud of you.
Probably one of the best SFM series that someone like me had the chance to see and follow since its first video with the "Once Upon A Time In 2fort". The story-telling, the plot, the content, the animation, the background, the music used in each were the reasons that make this series very special, and even more knowing that with the passage of time each of these qualities have improved and evolved, demonstrating great commitment and love on your part K.R. Thank you for everything and more.
Man...to finally put it to a rest. Yeah this was great from the start and finish. Thank you for the memories and inspiration. "God speed you magnificent bastard" - Solider
Even tho im bit late to the party, also saw it back then when i was 10-11 and now im 21. This series really dragged me trough times here and there, the music used it in and just the story as a whole. By this last episode i also put out my few cents of gratitue and a Thank You it has been an amazing ride and im thankfull that by this last episode i can also close the last page of an open book. The fact you did pick up the strenght and desided to finish up the story was very kind of you. Thank you for all of the episodes and for sticking by till the end. Best regards to you K. Thank you
This series takes me back to my youth and sparkling eyes as I came across every SFM I could, especially during your entry and probably how most of us came to know you. I came back again years later, seeing you work on the sequel to your first 2 parts. And now I return, seeing your story finish. I understand the same struggles you've faced when it came to story and animation. Some projects we unfortunately come to resent and wish to erase from our history, but fortunately good souls convince us otherwise and to continue to the bitter end. So at least we may say that "Hey, we finished it, right?". I am blessed to have been with you from beginning to end. Good luck to your future.
Its genuinely so impressive how you manage to convey so many emotions going through Pyro with no facial expressions. You are REALLY good. Also how dare you have me sobbing over THIS Pyro
I remember this old series back then. It was such a masterpiece, and now it's finally ended. And I believe you will get much popular in the future, keep going and more will recognize you, youve inspired so many sfm creators to this date, dont think otherwise
My friend, this series was fantastic. It’s hard to put into words exactly how I feel at its end. For one, I am happy that you were able to put this project to rest. I myself am a perfectionist and look mostly at the things I could have done better and not what I accomplished. Your work is worthy of many accolades in spite of the situation in your country, and the difficulties you faced while making this final chapter. I hope that you are able to continue on to bigger and better things knowing that there will always be those of us who have an appetite for the art you produce. All in all… thank you, for giving this series a proper send off. I wish you the best in life and hope that you continue to contribute to this world, in whatever form that may be.
I'm so happy I stumbled across this now! I can't believe the series is now over, I remember watching this years ago, the first two OUTI2F have always been a great inspiration for me! I'll have to go back and rewatch the whole series again now that it's been concluded. Superb work as always, the fluidity and realism in your shots really added to the story. And I just love how you portrayed Pyro here, you get a great sense of melancholic regret despite never being able to see his face's expression.
Dang. I remember when the first episode was released all those years ago. It’s crazy to think how I’ve been following this series since the start. The end of an era!
What an amazing series this was! The 2fort videos were one of the first ones I watched when I got introduced to TF2 as a nine year old. It was nice come back to these a bit older once I understood the deep stuff better and now I'm turning 17. This series is like the Half-Life of SFM: Heavily focuses on realism while still remaining as a world of its own. I'm sure it wasn't easy to complete, let alone continue a series this old, as a writer myself it's hard to keep on going even on projects of your own. But just know that you inspired many on SFM and many like me about deep stuff such as death and grief. I know for a fact I'll be binge watching these this summer. Take in every little clue and try to understand the story better as I've watched these very far and between.
After binge watching this masterpiece, I realised something: Pyro didn't seem to want the helmet for power in this series, but rather to destroy it, as it was his mission from the start. Only in OUTI2F he was obsessed by the helmet's power, but after reincarnation, it seems he decided destroying it was for the best. As this helmet alone had ruined and taken the lives of many people, Scout and Pyro specifically. And as a writer, I with full honesty congratulate you, Konstantine, about your writing. The way you use show don't tell for most of the series and heavily lie on psychological conflict and trauma, it's beautiful how you made a better story than most movies these days. Be proud of yourself and your work!
was really moved for the first time in a long time, the whole story had to be fulfilled, and the proof that the pyro was not the same as a spy or a scout fell victim to a senseless war. Thanks konstantin
brother... nomatter where ya go, how long it takes, we will still be open arms for your return. I will respect any decision u make. for a person that made such master pies of a story that i waited for so long, I will await for your series and stories. nomatter how bad u think it is, I will see it in a different light of glory. Take your time brother. A beautiful story takes time. Thank you for this beautiful story. I will cherish this. an again, be healthy, think about your self first, and most importantly, stay safe brother.
This has honestly been the best SFM series I have watched and I’m so glad I was able to be there for all of it. From 2fort, all the way up to this very point. Ghosts of the Past will always be in a special place in my heart and I’m proud to say that this series has objectively; probably been the greatest sfm series of all time!!!
This story is amazing, I can't imagine a more perfect ending, plus, I wanted to add that this series is like a hidden gem in the middle of the ocean. So many soulless videos on youtube And you, my friend, managed to create ART with your hard work. Maybe you are not satisfied with the result, but know that your art has been seen, and it has been appreciated.
I absolutely appreciate your work and determination. Your work has been an inspiration to me since I was a child, but now that I'm studying media and film at university, more than that, every video you post is like our timestamp to realize how good we’ve gotten.
Hey!! I just want to let you know that I'm very happy as a viewer to finally watch the end of this show, I knew the firsts episodes when I was really young, now I'm 18 years old, I just want to tell you Thank you for finishing this project, I or more like we, really loved all of yours progress that you made this far, I'm really happy the risk you took with the ending too :D
Thank you for all you've done, It's hare to believe it's been 11 years since Once Upon A Time In 2fort. I'll never forget the memories this series has brought Me.
Its bittersweet knowing this series that I've grown up with and rewatched countless times is over. But what a tremendous accomplishment you've just achieved. Bravo K.R.
Im glad that this series is finally ended, i growed up seeing this sfm tf2 series each chapter was so cool until now, my life has a motive now, this series ended greatly
Hi Konstantine! I´ve been following your channel since a very long time, and I really wish I had done it sooner. You may have stumbled upon some of my comments on a couple of videos and community posts in this channel. While I've grown old with TF2 (don't mind my profile picture), I've always had a heart for the SFM community. Although I feel nostalgic this serie is coming to an end, I cannot thank you enough for all the work and courage that you've put on to terminate this journey. As someone who had struggled with personal and professional projects, feeling lonely, burned out and completely hopeless, it really holds great significance to me that you've decided to continue producing the story to deliver a conclusion. Whereas you believe this didn't end up as you hoped for, I really want you to feel proud of what you've accomplished and take it as a stepping stone to climb even higher and make things that you feel more satisfied with :). I'll be waiting 'till the premiere, I'm excited as to see what unfolds with the ghosts of the past!
13:55 thank u animator i have seen ur videos over the years and im glad its finished thank u for the experience and for honoring rick may at the finale i hope ur okay👍🏻👍🏻🫡🫡🙂🙂
I can't believe that this series has finally come to an end. It's honestly crazy to think of how much has changed since then. Congratulations and thank you very much for completing this project! It is such a fantastic and fitting ending to this amazing series! It inspires me to see that you kept going all these years, it just shows how much dedication and love you have put into it! I hope to give the same amount of love and dedication to my own projects one day!
It was a long adventure, I went through a lot of problems, your SFM Behind the mask help me in my lowest moment. I'm still here to watch the end of the story, thank you for your hard work in the series and thank you for everything.
Dear K.R i want to thank you to give this story an ending as it deserves, i enjoyed watching the episodes! And i appreciate all the effort you have put into this gives me inspiration to start my own SFM animations aswell!
Absolutely brilliant, well done! I'm sorry this series didn't get the reception you had hoped for, but for what it's worth, I had only heard about this series about a week ago and finished it today, so your work is still drawing people in! (if a little slowly) I hope you're doing well in life, and I'm interested in seeing what else you produce, if anything. No pressure.
Thank you! A new video is coming really soon! I'm going to make comedic shorts/movie parodies and going all-in on quality. It's a new format, new animation style, so hopefully it clicks with the community better. Though I've switched to Blender so rendering is taking awhile, I really need a new gfx card lol.
It has been one hell of a journey and we finally hit its conclusion, and i was happy to witness it. Im sorry for all the struggles ya had with this K.R. And mad respect to ya for sticking to your guns of making this for the folks invested to it even though ya came to resent it a bit. I wish ya the best with the future to come mate
thank you, throughout my childhood years I grew up on TF2 and SFMs. With this being one of my favorite TF2SFM story tellings. Great story and I'll forever thank tf2sfm/gmod tubers for making my childhood the best it has been. Kudos to you sir! This is one of the best story telling and ending ive seen!
After watching this, I've sat here reading, and rereading comments, the description, and the comments again, and again for roughly 30 minutes at 2 am. I'm finding that I wasn't alone in this feeling, this subtle inspiration that I've carried with me for over 11 years now. I was a child when I first started watching this series, and now I am an adult, entering my early twenties. I can't express in words how important this series was and is to my view on art as a whole. You don't know me, so I know my words won't be as impactful as I want them to be, but I'll say them anyways. I can only hope that I get the chance to create such powerful, and meaningful stories such as yours. You might think that they are just some silly TF2 youtube videos, but the vector through which you shared your stories and ideas doesn't matter, in the end, you made me rethink how I wanted to create, you made me want to LEARN to create art, and you made me overcome my challenges in serious times of grief by connecting to these characters. I had lost my grandfather, and was in a very dark place mentally when I was younger, and these videos came out around that same time. You might view it as counterintuitive, but watching your videos showed me that I wasn't alone in these feelings, and made me feel understood. Throughout the years, every 6 months to a year I'd rewatch this series, thinking back on the meanings, and feelings these episodes gave to me. Thank you for the memories, and for shaping me. Thats right, think back on the most deeply impactful film or story you've experienced, that completely changed your view on art and inspired you. So much so that you remember it fondly even now. You have done that for me. Truly, thank you. It is now 2:47 am, and I hope this is coherent, but thats how much effort I wanted to put into this single comment. Your work means so much to me, like I said an hour ago while writing this, I am comforted knowing so many others feel the same.
The feeling of companionship was one of the intentions I had for the series. I’ve had movies that carried me through dark times. I wanted to create something similar for other people! I’m really lucky to have people find these videos and get something out of them! I wish I could write more here, but I’m going through the comments from the phone because my electricity problem had gotten worse, so it’s difficult to write replies to everyone! Thank you so much for taking the time to write your comment! It really means a lot!

You still did a good job at making such a masterpiece. :]
Thank you for the work you've given us all this time, I've been watching since I was a kid and saw this today, glad to see this come to some kind of conclusion, I hope to see more SFM from you in the future.
this is the best sfm series, in my humble opinion.
It’ll be here… end of an era.
It’s been an amazing tear filled ride.
@@soviettoaster_9323
Indeed.
Don’t forget to catch up on older episodes. Since this is the finale - all loose ends will be tied up and concluded!
I actually watched them earlier so psyched to see this!
Thank you for you job. It`s actually great !
Bro I’m not saying it’s better than emesis blue but it’s really colse ❤
Why was the helmet not destroyed tho?) Is that not a loose end?
@@bethelgeiser8748 Somebody will have to return it to Steam Store, apparently
The Scout was originally followed, and I sympathized with him, but I had to remember that the whole story was about the cursed helmet, and the sufferings that each victim went through. Very poetic and very real.
It is finally over.
Not a happy ending, not a bad ending.
It's just the end.
They’re free from their nightmare now. They can now rest peacefully without any fear or dread.
❤️ Thank you so much Blackimus!!!
Blackimus, how's your SFM project doing?
Спасибо тебе за эту классную историю
Hey blackimus!
Of all the routes this story could've taken, I never imagined one where the protagonist and antagonist switch places. But this episode makes it all click into place.
Shoutout to all the people here since the beginning. What a wild ride its been.
That it has
Maybe even the best
Crazy to think I was only 10 when I first saw once upon 2fort and now I'm 21 watching last episode this was a pleasure watching this and your hardwork!! Thank you so much
Time sure flies.
“Thank you for sticking with me all these years”
And Thank you for not giving up on this series and conclude it for us
Thank you for finishing this series.
"It's a miracle. It's an Australian Christmas bloody miracle!"
"I....really have no excuse." This line really was deep for me. It made me stay up all night thinking deep. What a masterpiece of a series, I wish I could erase my memories so I can watch it for the first time again like I did so many years ago. Good job on this. I really do appreciate you for making a piece of my childhood.
Me too
This is an amazing surprise as watching this series has always been a huge inspiration to me ever since I begun working with SFM myself.
Hey thank you so much @Dominzki ! It always warms my heart to see other SFM animators enjoy my videos! I hope you enjoy the finale! Much love!
A long awaited conclusion. I'm very excited to see.
It's been a hell of a journey, my life was in a different place entirely when this series started. Glad to see I could make it to see the end :D
Bro the video is so detailed like that scout that died was standting in the corner and then dissapeared after the car passed at 13:25
I did NOT catch that. Really shows the effort put into the series and is worth multiple rewatches
Didn’t think anyone would notice lol. There’s a similar cameo in episode 6 that nobody mentioned to this day. Its like 1 or 2 frames, and it’s quite silly so maybe its for the best haha
Suks how he is, but yea.
Wow, thanks for pointing it out. I totally missed that.
Same as pyro followed scout
Leaving this comment before the premiere.
We've spoken earlier about this but I want to leave my message here in case you need to see it again someday in the future:
I remember seeing your serie before I met you and I still remember how it inspired me.
Thank you so much my friend!❤
Premiering this on the same day as the #Fixtf2 campaign is good thinking on your part
Actually it was a coincidence, I didn’t know there’s a date attached to the hashtag. I guess it was fated to be! hehe
4:56 I like how Medic smiles as Pyro ended his suffering
A lot sure happened in the years since episode 6, but through it all, these videos stuck with me. I know I'm never going to forget this.
Scout was my favorite character through the series. His writing is so good man. I will never forget this masterpiece.
Wow it’s gonna be a good week for sure now
Wow
Damn what a ride, I forgot this channel existed until I saw this in my sub feed and remembered "Hey, this is the guy that made once upon a time in 2fort" and proceeded to rewatch everything to catch up before watching this. MAN, I'm happy that this had a great conclusion. Seeing how much you progressed over the years was amazing, and contrary to how you feel about this series from reading the description, I think this series is your mangum opus and you should be proud of sticking through to the end. I"m looking forward to what you make next.
For pyros redemption arc, this was fantastic, even though pyro did everything he can to fix everything, he still had to pay the price of his actions, and he accepts it as we should too, no matter how much we try to fix the problem, we'll still have to pay the price soon
Forgot to mention, the symbol of scout reaching his hand out to pyro out of forgiveness is honestly really heartwarming
Ten years ago, I saw this series as a child and it was like a little miracle to me to wait and watch new episodes. Glad to see how the story ended, how a little history of an era ended. Thank you, Легенда.
no matter what, you will always be valued and respected in the tf2 community, thank you very much
Never been more excited for an SFM in my life!
I can't believe it's done, after all these years. Well done, Konstantin, you've done amazingly. A fantastic conclusion to a fantastic series!
12 years ago I clicked on a cool looking video after my school ended.
12 years form there, im watching this after I came home from work.
Thank you Konstantine, this was my childhood.
I can't believe that such a thrilling story ended with so much beauty. You couldn't have made a better finale!
Idk if I am supposed to feel bad for the pyro, but I indeed do feel bad for the pyro
Fantastic work man
o7. Been an honor to follow this adventure
This is genuinly the first time a SFM made me cry
you've made a masterpiece
It was good knowing you lads. We been thorough all.
You forever shall be immortalized in the TF2 community, been watching since your bird has a beard video. Thanks for this journey!
The circle of revenge, even results of the act....
There's no difference and the end gets an equal price.
What an amazing end to the series. I'm really glad to have followed it after all these years
It's been one hell of a journey with series started and ending like this! Especially the quote "I really have no excuse" made me think about it. The meaning itself
4:37
This Medic looks like he understands pyro.
Thank you for your hard work finishing a work for over 10 years.
( I am not good at English, so I used a translator.)
A journey of 11 years that has come to an end. It was a honor to be a part of it and a part of my childhood.
Nothing to say but
Thank You.
That's a good end for this nice series. Thank you for making this.
Thank you for not abandoning your project and finishing it to the end, I hope your animation will become very popular someday too)
oh man, I really didn't think I would be sitting here crying over the ending when I watched the first episodes of this series :(
The worldbuilding in it was a huge inspiration for my own SFM series (still only consisting of the first episode lol but episode two is in the works) and even though I wont go beyond that story I wanna tell because I just don't have as much time to work on it as I used to, I kinda have an idea of the life of my characters besides the usual 2fort RED vs BLU fight (which I kinda wanna explore more but like I said time issues haha)
It was really great! Especially seeing all the Story threads tied together. Good work :)
(And it's always a nice motivation that there were so huge timegaps between your episodes, kinda reassuring that I'm not the only one taking who's taking his time lol)
I've had hope this would happen, but I never believed it actually would
Man I have been following up for 7 years now. Truly a masterpiece
YEEEEEES
KONSTANTINE I LOVE YOU. MY GOOD MAN I HAVE JUST FINISHED HIGHSCHOOL AND I AM HAPPY TO SEE THIS COME OUT SO SOON.
@@yvaincallipso84 haha that was the idea from the start! thank you!! :)
Thank you @commanderboom2626 ! I’m already working on a new project whenever I can. Can’t wait to share it with everyone! :)
Thanks for finishing story, started more than 10 years ago. Hell, it was something new for TF2 style. God bless you, author!
Thank you for this journey you've taken us on, it's been a great one.
was really moved for the first time in a long time, the whole story had to be fulfilled, and the proof that the pyro was not the same as a spy or a scout fell victim to a senseless war.
Thank you for sticking with me and believing in me, my friend!!!
Truly amazing been here since the First “once upon a 2fort” I’m happy to see its had a good journey
i never thought this day would come
Saga continues and I'm still here... Wow
Wow
This story is amazing, I can't imagine a more perfect ending, plus, I wanted to add that this series is like a hidden gem in the middle of the ocean. So many soulless videos on youtube And you, my friend, managed to create ART with your hard work. Maybe you are not satisfied with the result, but know that your art has been seen, and it has been appreciated.

Tribute Rick May
Thank you for not forgetting him
A decade later and we've finally reached the end, I knew one day we'd see the full story! Thank you.
It sure has been a difficult journey. Thank you for your effort
Bravo K.R.
Crazy how this series ended 12 years later. Beautiful work K.R, glad I was able to go down memory lane with this series once more.
Im glad that this series is finally ended, i growed up seeing this sfm tf2 series each chapter was so cool until now, my life has a motive now, this series ended greatly
I started watching as a kid and now I'm an adult... Thanks for making your videos a part of my childhood! You're the best!
(if a little slowly)
I hope you're doing well in life, and I'm interested in seeing what else you produce, if anything.
I wish ya the best with the future to come mate
thank you,
throughout my childhood years I grew up on TF2 and SFMs. With this being one of my favorite TF2SFM story tellings.
Great story and I'll forever thank tf2sfm/gmod tubers for making my childhood the best it has been.
Kudos to you sir! This is one of the best story telling and ending ive seen!
i was scrolling trough my subscriptions and i found you again.. i remember watching the whole movie, great finale!
