- As the neighborhood chills, tensions between RED and BLU heat up.
After 4 years in development we finally bring you a present this Christmas. Team Neighborhood Chronicles is a 'spinoff,' this is NOT Episode 5. This is a standalone episode that can be played alongside the main series - it is still canon. 'Chronicles' just lets us have fun with the Mercs outside of the main story. Episode 5 was taking way too long, so we decided to make another TN in the meantime for you and our supporters.
Episode 5 is still coming.
With this video out, we highly hope to be releasing more content next year. Not too much tho, as you guys see what these videos take to make. But hopefully you guys can help significantly speed and smooth things along by donating to our Patreon. Or else we might be forced to take....longer with our videos; this is a threat.

@@riffraff7942 First of all, I apreciate the MSM profile pic. Secondly, in the original trailer for TF2 back when it was still on it's beta stage, Scout was shown wielding a nail gun instead of his iconic scattergun. The nail gun has since been scrapped, likely to never return.

The voice actor for Scout has done some projects in the TF2 fan community. Hes loan his voice for Scout on multiple occasions.

I used to watch a lot of history channel with my dad as a kid, and as youtube started becoming a bigger platform, I discovered SFMs and TF2. I showed my dad these SFMs and he instantly became a fan. We'd then routinely watch animations on the TV together after we got those early chromecast devices. I'm sure this video would have instantly became one of his favorites if he were still around.
Thanks to everyone that worked on this video. It made a random nobody on the internet a little bit warmer this holiday.

By the way, “whom” should be used for the objects of a sentence. Similar to how “I” and “me” work. “I” is the subject and is used like “I kicked that guy’s ass”. Meanwhile, “me” is the object and is used like “He punched me!”. Meanwhile, “who” and “whom” are subject and object, respectively. “Who” is used like “Who kicked his ass?”. And then, “whom” is used like “To whom shall I deliver this pie, sir?”.
Whom is generally not used in casual English, often reserved for academics. So basically, you can simply say “who” everytime and be fine.

It basically is just a generic world war documentary you'd see on the History channel except in Garrysville. You had the christmas truce of WW1, operation Barbarossa with the overstretch of logistics Blu soldier did, the plan for the snowbomb is literally called "Mann & Hat Project". Everything in this is so damn clever.

Y'all have thoroughly nailed your skill at comedic storytelling, including and _especially_ visual comedy. Examples like the tiny fence, Saxton Hale's wall dedicated to the various treaties needed to keep the REDs and BLUs from doing this kind of thing, and the one that got me laughing the hardest: the side window gag where Scout _respawns._
I'm proud of you all. You've developed your skills marvelously on all fronts.
Holy crap, I didn't notice that all those boards were treaties that the team probably made in the neighborhood, since what else do you expect to happen when two groups you hired to kill each other spend their downtimes literally across the road to one another?
The animation was BEAUTIFUL during the interview segments especially, the humor was on point, the voice acting was pretty damn good. I'm SO HYPED for the future of this channel.

@@Mentelgen-1337 They would do it, but not if it's impossible to create in time. Expiration Date likely took months to create, which is pretty understandable, since SFM animations take a long time to animate. Not even counting in the glitches that can happen.
Talk about an unexpected Christmas present. I hope any progress you make on Episode 5 from here on out is smooth sailing.

Seeing Team Neighborhood make a comeback was just what I needed to brighten my day in this cold weather.
This has to be the most intense snowball fight in the history of snowball fights.
While rewatching this to satisfy my current crave for more Team Neighbourhood content, I noticed that at about 0:13 , when the TV screen is showing different pictures of the two teams, there’s a curious detail if you pay close enough attention. Notice how with the shots of the RED team, they all seem a lot more coordinated, as well as seeming like they’re enjoying themselves a lot more. The last shot of their group even gives me a sort of “family photo” type of vibe, if that makes any kind of sense. Meanwhile, with the BLU team, their shots seem a lot more sporadic and feels like half of the team don’t even wanna be there for it. Considering the RED team seem a lot more close knit in comparison to their BLU neighbours based on the first four episodes, this feels quite fitting, or at least it does to me.
Details like this always make rewatching episodes so fun, and I can’t wait to see what comes next!

Let's hope the team neighborhood saga keeps going. Quick frankly it's some of the best tf2 content I've seen in dogs age. If you ask Mr it deserves a saxxy.
