What does style look like where you are from? Let us know in the comments!
Everybody wanna dress like they from the streets but ain’t nobody wanna be from the streets
Calabasas is just an overhyped rich neighborhood, where people call themselves “creative” or “style influencers” when in reality they just have money
“If Kylie wears a durag it would be cool, if I wore a durag it’s ghetto”
"these are the streets that made me, me" trust me, it shows.
When you're a millionaire but can't afford a personality
"These are the streets that made me, me."
i go to school in calabasas and have never even heard of "calabasas inventing the new street wear". calabasas is just filled with a lot of hype beasts who will buy anything that says surpreme and basic girls that try so hard to not have basic style yet still wear basic clothes. while calabasas is mentioned in rap songs and is featured on kanye's clothing line calabasas has no fashion style of its own and is just a rich suburb that celebrities happened to flock to.
"Growing up here has been difficult" LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL THEN SHE FOLLOWS THAT UP WITH "IN KINDERGARTEN" OMG I CANT
"I've been here now for almost....29 years." Adam pauses, remembering that he lives in his parents house still and that is the only reason he is actually able to work at In N Out for the aesthetic and spend all his money on track pants and shit while his parents slowly become obselete tech support managers.
“I feel if you spend your whole life here, you won’t have a good grasp on reality.” I think we just identified who the smart one is.
They're making this place look much cooler than it actually is. In real life everything closes at 9pm.
Street wear true origins-> chicano & black culture. Those hoop earrings have history.
People need to chill out about buying the most expensive clothes. Fashion isn't about wearing a £100 shirt it's about wearing a £3 shirt and making it look expensive
"Btw her dad is snoop dog" made me mind blown
Calabasas: dressing as if you just ended a workout, paired with a faux fur, driving the cheapest model Mercedes offers, living in a tract-housing McMansion.
This made my skin crawl. This is exactly what I thought it would be and is the perfect example of why I hate this fashion trend and the "culture" that surrounds these types. This wannabe, appropriating hood, upper class style. It's so distasteful.
"Instagram is a big part of my life" Kill me now
I wasn’t expecting the video to get into appropriation but I love that it did! The less privileged kids strive to look “ rich “ with knock off designer items meanwhile these kids want to look “ street “. Isn’t that something.
THat dudes got no style, just expensive clothes.
