@@user-jw7yg8zk8z she wrote on the bathroom door "Im done" which was supposed to represent her deciding to end herself. And right after that matpat went up to her and welcomed her and exc. Which made her brighten up and decide that she dosent want to end herself anymore.
So she thanked him for saving her life even though he had no idea what she was Talking about because he didn't knew she was planing on ending herself.
Which is a great methaphor for the fact that a lot of TH-camrs like matpat saved houndreds of lifes without even knowing it just by making content, recording videos, and doing what they love.
Because you don't need to wear a cape and have superpowers to Save somebodys life, sometimes you just need to make them feel loved, needed, and like they belong somewhere.
Because sometimes thats all a person needs.

This will probably be their best ever. Mr beast might be bigger but matpat was for the people. He was just one of us. No matter how big he got, he was still just one of us. Losing him on the channels felt like losing a family member. It still hurts.

I never really watched him, never clicked on Matpat's videos ever but I've known him for a while, my older sister would always watch him and so I knew about him a lot from just listening to her phone with matpats video on. It's sureal to know that he is retiring feels like I left out on something so incredible and only now that I know of it.

One of the things they found was a clip of MatPat telling this exact story, and they knew it was important. Later when MatPat watched the movie trailer, he said that they nailed it because that moment was when he realized that he could (and needed to) help people.

My chemistry teacher actually knew Matt when he was going to Medina High School. His kids were friends with him then. His parents also talked about him frequently to my chem teacher, I forget what he said about Matt's parents talking him though. He says that he was surprised he was retiring before him, but luckily for him, next school year is his last year teaching. I hope Matt and my chem teacher each have a great retirement!

I was once a theater kid. My intersection is now working as a docent in a small history museum.
This actor made me cry, he captured what everyone loves so much about MatPat.
That part with the kid on the bus was really emotional. They didn’t need to explicitly say it to make it have an impact, and that’s the true beauty of a good script/story/movie/ anything really. I think we’ve all been there at some point, and this just goes to show how something so small can save someone. Hope isn’t just a thing with wings- but like a bird, it’s small, beautiful, and all around you, you just have to look for it.
I have told my childhood friends this everyday in high school and my middle school friends think that they are worthless because of how they look and act around others but I see them the way god made them for I would love to say thank you matpat for also telling all of us this

He may be the biggest TH-camr but Matpat was among the first and thus has many years of stories. There's also the fact that with his retirement, he deserves it as he is a living legend. Sometimes I think that's true! Mr Beast's Story according to legend is quite understandable at first but I think his story is more in-depth as his channel grows and Grows there might not be a story to tell because we might not be watching anymore. I say his peak was when he was right at 20-40Mil which was my My time frame I watched him then after 100 Mil Pewdiepie surpassed something just clicked and I lost interest.

THIS IS INSANE WHAT????? The acting, the cinematography, the music and its timing! It's all so insanely top-notch that it actually took my breath away. I was NOT expecting this level of camerawork and professionalism from a TH-cam video, that's for sure - at most, I was like, "ah, it'll probably be lots of clips spliced together with music and stuff". But I just... WOW. You succeeded in making me feel many emotions, and the part where the girl scribbles those two little words on that bathroom stall hit me like a freight train riding a bullet train. Overall, the amount of work and talent present here is genuinely unbelievable, and you guys did an absolutely amazing job!
Hey mate, as someone who isn’t a bot, I agree. That part was so strong emotionally because they didn’t need to explicitly say what that kid was gonna do, it only took two words and you knew. It’s so fascinating to see how little words can have such a big impact.

I don’t think it would be boring. The theorist channels have been involved in a lot of dramatic events, interesting locations, and the story of what happened to game theory parallels what happened to TH-cam as a whole through so many shifts over the decades.
The only thing wrong is that there isn't a FNAF jump scare at the end lol

I vote for your next trailer to be about the Vlogbrothers. What started out as just two siblings making goofy videos for each other eventually turned into a movement to improve worldwide health outcomes and provide universal free education. In between, John’s book became a commercially successful movie and Hank survived a cancer diagnosis. The trailer practically writes itself, and I’m tearing up just thinking about their journey.

The Music, The Editing, The Costuming, The Locations-EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS captures that Home Video/Early Game Theory vibe PERFECTLY! Id like to point out what youre doing for an audience that probably isnt even your target.
Im 38. I had no idea who Ryan or MatPat was. I knew of Zach vaguely from clips.
Through the ability of your storytelling youre opening my eyes not just to amazing creators but amazing human beings. Making these stories makes them relatable... which should be a goal of any creator. I now find myself rooting for these people not just as cool creators... but as people.
I dont think im alone. Thank you for sharing the story of these people in a way that resonates with all generations. You guys dont need to make a Mr. Beast movie. Youve already made an impact. Youre amazing at what you do!
