I highly recommend Ken to visit Xinjiang Uyxxx Autonomous Region of China! In Xinjiang, please visit Kashgar (90% population is Uyxxx) and Hotan (96% population is Uyxxx). You will feel very interesting there! Those Uyxxx-majority cities are combined of Uyxxx traditional cultures, modern life-styles and updated technology now!

Wow im surprised how extremely clean it is, it's even cleaner than here in Australia. Everything is so convenient in China, all you need to carry is your phone and you can do anything. That's so futuristic. Effectively a cashless society. The fact that you can freely film anywhere is amazing, You would have been stopped atleast once if you entered a restaurant or mall here in Aus.

The best thing of cashless society is that prevents theft, robbery, tax evasion and other such illeagal behaviors. Ten years ago, there are still a few theives in China, because people have money in their wallet. But now, if you drop your wallet in the public, no one would steal it. They just pick it up and give it to police station.

Haixin Sha(海心沙)is an island located in the Pearl River, and is a new central axis node in Guangzhou. The shape of this island looks like a sailing boat driving on the Pearl River, with the huge steel pillars 7:52 being the masts. It is well known for being the place holding opening and closing ceremony of the 16th Asian Games in 2010. After the Asian Games, Hai Xinsha was converted into the Asian Games theme park and many festivals and ceremonies in different fields were held here since then. I spend ten years studing in Guangzhou, I miss there so much.

Mate, beef noodles could be considered as fast food in China. If you go to some restaurants that could serve stir fries or stews, the proper dishes, you eat first and pay afterwards. Most foreign visitors like to go to the fast food place, like a noodle house, a bun house, or chicken rice house, locals may call them fast food or snacks usually. Maybe a local guide could take you to a proper restaurant. 😊

When it comes to infrastucture, they will push for a "standardization" of the quality at big city centers.
That's why the quality and the vibe of the metro systems and modern buildings are quite is similar to Shanghai because they push them to be atleast aesthetically modern, hence the standardization.
You will even find this very modern vibe of care of the street and landscapes even in 4th tier cities in Yunnan.

    • @longtaoyou2931

@@avil8686 I guess it's because the Pearl river delta is highly urbanized with a lot of urban villages scattered in the cities while these villages are not really wholly transformed into modern areas because it's hard to demolish due to high cost. In contrast, Yangtze river delta is much bigger in size and therefore a lot of rural areas around the cities are not urbanized and these villages have transformed into modern villages.

The cars with green plates are electric and the cars with blue plates use gasoline. The reason why China has so many electric cars is because the government established policies to reduce carbon release. For example, in some cities, if you want to be a Didi or Uber driver you have to apply with an electric car, you won't get approval if your car is oil-fueled. If you want to buy a new vehicle and try to apply for a car plate, the waiting period for a blue plate can be much longer than a green plate.
