It is a custom in Philippines ( maybe more for those that are Bisaya) to greet an elder, they take your hand and touch it to their forehead, to BLESS, the elders wisdom. That Never Enough was the 1st night and in her second number that night...the sparkly bracelet flew off her wrist,,,and she didn't miss a beat. David is from my hometown, was neighbour of a co-worker in Victoria, BC, Canada, and has been in the business a long time, he produced the video , Voices That Care in 1991, ( for Gulf War benifet)

Our "honouring gesture" (taking the hand of the elders to our foreheads) is sometimes done with saying the word "bless" together, also it's "Mano po" if using the Filipino term. This is our tradition in the Philippines that should always exist to help new generations to show respect to their elders. I am from the Tagalog people, sometimes parents get angry when their children forgot to "bless" their grandma or grandpa

Wow! What a pleasant surprise on a Monday morning! Thank you, Ryan and Cindy, for this Mori Monday treat. 🥰 I was expecting to see your Mori reactions on Wednesdays, but this one's early. ☺
Thank you for featuring the Day 1 performance of "Never Enough", it is my favorite. First, because of that introduction by David to Morissette. Second, because it was her first ever performance with the legendary David Foster in a live concert before a huge audience, like a "baptism of fire", or kinda sort of a "make or break" thing with David. And Mori definitely slayed these performances, from Day 1 up to the last day of this concert tour in Manila. David brought with him three singers, Katharine McPhee (his wife), Pia Toscano and Daniel Emmet. And he chose only two Filipino singers, the Philippines' "Concert King" Martin Nievera, and, of course, Morissette.
This "Never Enough" pretty sounds much the same as her popular Wish Bus performance, and perhaps, this one's got even better with that finale belt, as arranged by David himself. Well, we know David, he's fond of "dramatic and grand finales". And it's so satisfying to see Mori's triumphant expression along with the audience right at the end of this performance. As we've said before, Mori's version of "Never Enough" is the best there is. 🥰
On Day 1, for the "Bodyguard Medley", it was Mori who sang the "I Have Nothing" and Kath McPhee the "I Will Always Love You", you may watch that in your free time. But from Day 2 until Day 6, David made Mori sang the whole medley, and if you watch their Day 1 performance you would understand why. That Day 2 where Mori first sang the whole medley (she was wearing pink gown) is also another favorite and much reacted. Anyways, thank you for your continuing love and support for Morissette. When Cindy become teary-eyed watching Mori's "Never Enough", I also got teary-eyed. Whenever we watch Mori's spectacular performances like this one, we still get "Mori-fied". 🥰

Actually Sarah Geronimo was supposed to be doing the concert but due to other commitment she gave it to her protege, Morisette.
I actually did not believe this saying. I found a TH-cam video from a Sarah Fan channel about this weeks after the David Foster Manila concert. I watched it and I was believing at first cuz of the details, a showed article about it, and also I know how humble Sarah G and how she sees the talent towards Mori. But seeing the description of the video, there are no sources shown. I searched up in Google and there were also no articles or details about it shown. It only shows the articles about David, Sarah G, and Charice but uploaded about a decade ago. So I was confused and went back to the video to comment and asked for a reliable source. The creator actually saw and hearted my comment and then replied with a link. The link just lead me to another video of the same creator but also with no reliable links on the description. So I went back to comment for a link to the article that the creator talked about in the video. But then, no responses came in. I saw another video from another Sarah G fan channel talking about the same topic and article but after seeing the description, I realized it's the same creator because of literally the same shown description. From there, I declared this saying as fake news. If you have something that can enlighten me, then I would love to see it. Thanks!

Not quite, she was originally contracted for all but three shows and ended up doing exactly that. March 21, 22, 24, 25 and 26 all at 8 pm. She was not in the March 23 show nor the 3 pm shows on the 25th or 26th, exactly as originally advertised.
