I also have a scooter (Meyra, cityliner 415) bigger than yours. I always had the standard batteries (gel batteries inside) and I only had problems with them. I live on a hill and always have to drive uphill. I'm not allowed to take the city bus for safety reasons. The batteries only lasted half a year and then they were defective. I got AGM batteries, 200 amps. They've been in use for 3 years now and I've driven 2183 kilometers with them, in all weathers.
To. LUCY BOGNAR. I chave a Kymco & it is not only very comfortable but, easy to get in & out of. Arm rests can be raised & lowered to make things easier for access. I personally would recommend the Kymco mobility scooters. But, the choice is yours But, do make sure if you are not take someone who knows more about them ( not just the salesperson😀). To make sure that you get the very best on it's batteries. 75amp or above is ideal.👍. not lower 👎 & You don't pay more than what you should pay for it. But, also depending on your weight ( nothing personal) you will require one that can tolerate your weight as with everyone who is going to buy or hire one. & it will also up to you on whether you wish to have just the slow 4mph type or the duel speed 4 & 8mph types. Good luck in your choice😉. .AVIOD!!! the Colt Sport it is very uncomfortable!!! Hard wheels / tyres & the shocks are TERRIBLE!!! Kymco are just one make that seems to make sense. But, other makes available. As I said the choice will be finally yours. Try not to rush into your choice too quickly. That's were most people make their mistakes. Think very carefully about your choice. & what your willing to pay for it. & ALWAYS!!! ask is there any free or reduced extras included. I'm thinking of getting a kymco agility is it easy to get on and off as have alot of back pain with spinal stenosis and is it easy for hands as have some arthritis in them I'm 49 and love this style of scooter 🙂

I have cctv outside flat I can record both sound and vision I have dead lock on door and if I push panic button police turn up fast I pay extra for that.O and I no longer have KYMCO agility because motor burnt out.And Hearing @Mobility made me wait 6 weeks for new scooter .I wish I could delated my vlog
Not a clue of scooters hight as I no longer have KYMCO agility because motor burnt out.having done 2000 miles in 2years used daily going to town round trip 3 miles.I think hearing and mobility put on my mobility scooter reconditioned motor or bought cheap copies from China Don't trust HEARING@MOBILITY
If you haven't got a replacement mobility scooter yet. Try looking for one on Gumtree. You maybe able to find a suitable one that is in your area or not too far away. & you can ask as many questions as you need aswell as see it & maybe able to try it out. Do make sure the batteries are fully charged before you do go to see it. I got mine off Some subsection via F.B as I couldn't find anything on Gumtree ( of which I really wanted to). But, I did have to have the batteries changed as they were EXTREMELY!!! underpowered & rear lights had to be changed.( faulty) This wasn't cheap But, far cheaper than other places I asked about a service. But, in the end was very much well worth it. But, the choice is completely yours. Good luck in your choice & I do hope you find something that your happy with soon!!! for the next X amount of years. 👍😉

I bought a secondhand one some months ago & found the batteries were in a TERRIBLE STATE!!! One was only 27% & the other was NO more than 54% after 15 or so hours of charge. & Had to get two new batteries I was recommended to get these new GEL TYPE which are lighter ( in weight not that have noticed 😄😃) & more efficient in the cold.unlike standard types. Not cheap but, I'd say worth it It could be a thought for yourself to consider them for yours. But, that's upto you.
