I just used bycol in the day. on them hot days add a little sugar to the mix, mud lasted long time before you had to knock it up. way more affordable then that stuff
Hi Ty, not in the trade, but really interested. I watched an english youtube the the other day - added very little water, let it spin for decent time, highlighting to keep water minimal. Looked good once done though. All these mixes with these addatives look good from the videos though..
Check the brick manufacturers spec sheet will tell you ratio for your brick rule of thumb muck should be weaker than the brick so joint crack not bricks if any movement
In the UK its hard to find dry bricks at the minute , testing times👍
Also depends on how wet the sand is.

Hey Ty, I'm a brickie in QLD.
That mud came out real nice.
What brand of bricks are you laying in this video?
Nice work! New to the Channel
Love the look of your work
Are those re-used old bricks or made to look that way? Cheers
Recycled Solid bricks!
that mixer don't look very portable, what ratio do you guys use? Im from UK, we have been using a similar product for years.
Okay
what's the difference between solid bricks with no holes and bricks with holes?
Ones got holes and the other hasn’t
is 3 quarters of a bag of cement ok for 18 shovels of sand
Hell no.
Full bag 14 shovels in the west. Over east it’s full bag, 1 lime, 14 sand.
too much cement is worse than less cement for cracking

It’s just mortar plasticiser ty is it ? Commonly known as plas in Ireland .
Let it spin for 10-15mins and you wont need much water at all. Let the mixer do the work not water mate
That site looks painful hope you quoted for the time wasted
