Clannad was one of the best anime's ever. It was pure, based on a more real life basis, and it included funny humor, to the saddest, most realistic but imaginable sorrow.
Clannad,was like,the most saddening anime existed.I cried at SO many moments.Especially Nagisa's *whispers* you know what,and Ushio's you know what too.*normal voice* Clannad really meant something to me,Clannad made me laugh,cry,swear,and so on.Animes are suppose to be like Key Animation's,funny yet saddening.Plus,picture goes great.Espceially Team Kyou and Tomoyo against Team Youhei.=P
I love this show, and I normally don't watch anime, however I would say a HUGE part of the reason I loved this show so much was the music, in my opinion, that is what made the crucial moments. I could care less for the lyrics but the instrumentals man, just the most beautiful sounds I have ever heard.

When I first saw Clannad on Netflix, the art style put me off so I didn't watch it. I can never be more glad I took the lead of faith to watch the anime, art styles will grow on you for sure. Now with 3 rewatches and over 100 hours in the VN (with 30 hours in Tomoyo After) I can confidently say this is my favorite romance/coming of age story/stories out there

well Clannad is a happy story, after tragedy, so I think anyone will hope their lives end up like tomoya/nagisa's, but I doubt anyone wants to go through the traumatic events they go through to get there...
Marvelous song. Lyrics are worth looking up if you don't understand the Japanese, because it's very positive and empowering when compared to the theme of the original track. One thing - the Japanese title is 一万の軌跡 (One Thousand Tracks), not 奇跡 - miracle. A bit minor, but it changes the message and meaning of the lyrics.
You are not alone : DD I do have that need too. But I only got my girlfriend to watch this, the other watches the first episodes and drops it... its so sad hahah And BTW this song is just amazing, its almost an emotional journey on its own : U

I may have not cried, but I was pretty damn close. I had lost my appetite to eat for a few hours after I finished the series :P But I think one of the worst moment-changers in the series was in season one, when Nagisa was crying on the stage and then her parents cheered her on. Half way through that scene, my stupid brother just had to take out his nerf gun and shoot me in the head when I was caught up in the moment... >:( Also when the video stops to buffer, that's also pretty bad.
Angel Beats was good. That's all it will ever be. Good. It suffered from too many problems. But hey, it set out to convey one message. And it did. If you want a new anime like Clannad, wait for Little Buster's airing in October!
