Cats seem to turn to liquid when they want to fit somewhere.
Little do you know! Cats ARE made of liquid (except for the danger daggers in their murder mittens). They just become solid for interacting with us.
As darkness falls, these magnificent beasts come to a pause and scan their environment, alert for the first tell-tale sounds of the can opener.
Cats are stomach driven. Mealtime ten seconds early is okay, but five seconds late is inexcusable.
It’s in their DNA
My cat is doing the same thing outside as I watch this video, he goes out every evening at this time and takes in the sounds and smells of early evening.
He certainly is beautiful and so are his friends! So cute!

Petit is a fine feline, a beautiful tom cat. I had a tom that looked like him his name was Alfie. Brother and sister Happy and Pippi are so clean snow white and have lovely markings. Thanks for the treat God bless

Petit has such a neat coat color. Its the same black/brown-red color as my short-haired girl.

For the people who don't know, cats are diurnal. Which means they're most active at dawn and dusk, when they tend to hunt.
You're right about the times they're most active but you have the wrong word for it. The word you want is "crepuscular". Diurnal means "active during the day"

Whenever my orange Little Boy would appear he would just instantly light up the room. Amazing.
I often go for walks around sunset and see all the cats standing at the edge of their driveways, looking, looking, it’s so cute, most will let me pat them, which I am grateful for, love cats❤❤❤❤

Cats are both predator and prey animals. They are being hyper aware of they're surroundings while conserving energy in case of fight/flight or chase situation. Petit is so cute 😊
I had a Chocolate Tiffany very similar to this. Died of old age on Christmas Eve. Still miss him.

They are relaxed but alert. They have their ears, eye's, nose and fur sensing for any kind of movement that will stimulate them.

Petit is so beautiful… he looks like a cat that my ex had many years ago. Actually, she looked exactly like Petit. We always figured she was a black Angora, but I remember my ex once said that she started thinking that her cat was a black Norwegian Forest cat. I think she was right about that - they look identical!

My kitties used to sit on the neighbor's garden bench and gaze into the sunset. Actually looking for small rodents, insects and foraging birds active around that time, I believe. Although I liked to think they were just enjoying the sunset in peace 🙂

He is just stunning, and of course completely mesmerizing. He reminds me so much of my Betty (we nicknamed her Dew as she sparkled like morning dew) when she was healthy, she was a rescue but clearly had a ton of Norwegian Forest cat DNA in her 😻 🥰it reminds me of how lucky we are when cats choose us (and how i am so fortunate to still have her 2 siblings, Bruce and Luci-fur, by my side; we're all healing together)

Petit is my cat down to a 'T', but mine is female. Maggie is 12 years old, very same coloration, long fur, eyes, robust build and everything. Much like Petit seems, she can be strictly business for the most part, but she also has a loving and what I would call a loyal side. Maggie also has a love for food, so she has been on a diet for a while, as intimated for Petit.
I have strongly suspected Maggie might possibly have Norwegian Forest cat genes for a while now, having seen a picture of one a few years ago. That cat incidentally also was primarily black, which of course might be more for bias on my part, Norwegian cats of course are not restricted to a fur color.
But same Good looking and very solid animals, both.
