i love the singing at the last phase. it just adds to the stupidity of this boss. Nobody expected to see a western cow get sucked into a furnace, turned into sausages and later canned. i fucking love it and its the reason this is my favourite boss from the dlc

The boss is already pretty messy in the 1st phase. You have an eagle shooting dynamites at you and a flying horse (I forgot) will also throw something at you. You still have to deal with the sheriff's oil gun.
I thought this exact thing happened. I was surprised to see that it didn't, Cuphead normlly isn't shy when it comes to bullet hell. But it is already a difficult enough fight at first, so maybe in expert they could've added it. With the cactus needles, the buzzard dropping dynamite and the horse fly... That would've been absolute terror.
I played this boss on expert, it nearly took me an hour to beat it, but even then, she glitches on the 2nd phase, on the vaults wouldn't fall, so I attacked her and I was like 2 seconds from restarting and I got a knock out, despite her being glitched lol
all the differences in this fight are Phase 1: the dynamite changes from shooting 3 then 2 to shooting 4 then 3 Phase 2: more stuff flying at you and the safes drop closer to the center of the screen Phase 3: more cans show up and more closer to each other Phase 4: the peppers change from alternating between 4 and 5 to 5 and 6 also just general health increase to all phases
Despite how difficult the boss is on normal and how much harder it gets on Expert, the fight is so much fun that I don’t mind playing it at all. The music, the animation, all of it is so enjoyable.

@@aspenisthebest yes it does...but I think the video was recorded at 60fps...and when your Quality is set to 60fps, it actually comes through at 60fps (which removes the "shutter effect" and makes movement look ultra-smooth)
In my opinion this is the most fair boss of the DLC, because when I fought her it rarely felt like I couldn’t have avoided getting hit by her. But still she was pretty hard, her and Chef Saltbaker were the only bosses who I couldn’t S rank with Ms Chalice, so i had to switch to the 2 hearts charm

The first time I attempted to beat her I got to her last phase on my 2nd try, and yet it STILL took me about as long to beat her as it did with the other enemies
I see a lot of people struggling with her, and S ranking is hell ofc, and then I look at myself and see that she glitches out for me on her second phase and I got the easiest S rank that I’ve ever gotten in Cuphead and I just feel dirty
First 3 phases are easy. The last phase is tough. It just keeps going and going. I think it's the toughest phase in all the DLC. I replayed this boss so many times because of that dumb phase.
I'm rating every phase on this level from worst to best. Number 4, last phase: gEt LuCkY lOl. Number 3, the second phase: wait... THERE WAS A COIN THERE!? Sorry couldn't see it with all the BULLSHT ON MY SCREEN!!! Number 2, 3rd phase: The steak covered half the screen and the sausage cans go SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED after a while. Number 1, first phase: not that much sht to dadge pretty easy. Change my mind.

It’s actually easier than it looks, I think it’s just the first phase that makes it look harder than it is with everything flying around
I think stages 1-3 are pretty easy, but stage 4 was probably the hardest phase of any boss for me so far ( haven't finished the dlc yet )

the 2nd phase has a pretty noticeable difference
the dynamite the bird drops on you splits up into more dynamite than the regular version as well
I love that they didn't make the attack harder to dodge and just gave her more health becuase she's already hard
