Hi You Two! Appropriately enough you're at the gym today... You both stay in pretty good shape from what I've experienced via your vlogs... At 45 is when you made the move huh? The military pension sure helps... I retired at 42 and haven't looked back...the move was fortunate for us both I think (early retirement)... You met Dazel and now have built a wonderful life...Congrats to you both... Now once this bit of rough patch is over you can do lots more over there, so much to see... Your story is a positive and powerful one, thanks for sharing with us... Have a super evening over there! 🙏🙏🙏 👍😎👍
There are intrinsic benefits to being an employee, but I am sure those benefits does not deserve the 20 to 30 to 40 years of grinding and slaving 5 days a week!
@@vondoromal7016 This is true in some manner...But...It's a gamble we all take on, and the military play makes the gamble even more risky...But (again? )...Both Ginno and I took that additional risk on...In my case for 25 years...Good and bad times, but 25+ years receiving a retirement check (adjusted annually for inflation BTW) after 25 years of active duty has provided the return I expected...As of now, my total take before taxes (yes our retirement is taxable!) has exceeded my calculations at the ripe old age of 25, when I decided to make a career out of the military...But you're right, it was a slog...I much prefer being my own boss and having a small business... 👍😎👍
@@smartbiz888 you probably has not mentioned your (non-taxable) disability income. (God Bless America). Small to medium businesses in the Philippines should not be hard to do. I may be wrong because I am not there yet. I am still building permanent incomes for life!!!
@@smartbiz888 Good for you man. I was 23 when I got out of the military. Went to college and never looked back. LOL. The military is certainly not for everyone.
Great story! Thanks for sharing! Keep smiling ! I hope to move to PH in 3-4 years and chill like you ! Hoping for the best with your treatments brother.
Heavenly Father, Please hold me close at this time of uncertainty. Remind me of Your promises when I am feeling overwhelmed. Whisper words of love when I feel alone. Lie me down in peace when I am weary. Give all who care for me great waves of wisdom. Lead me through this journey singing songs of hope over my life. Quiet my soul as I face the treatment of this cancer. Come quell the fears that I have, and fill my heart and mind with your everlasting love. Amen.🙏
Thank you for sharing your story Geno. Learning and knowing your story definitely have me think hard on how I am going to live my life forward! I wish you both well and your dogs and also looking forward to meet you as well one day when the right time comes! God Bless and get well soon!
Hello folks. Nice video and story. Nice to see another USAF veteran on YT. I served from 1979 to 2002. Wife is from Kalibo so hopefully I can someday meet you folks. Plan to visit this coming January for Ati-Atihan. God bless and take care. All the best, Rick
It's just the best when two such positive and good natured people as you two obviously are, find one another, get married, and make a life together. It doesn't happen every day, but when it does, it's so beautiful and inspiring. It restores one's faith in humanity in general, and the institution of marriage in particular. Keep rockin' you guys. You're the best! ❤
