weird, whenever I try to use revolve after doing a line with curve tool it just gives me a shape that isnt even a 3D object. Any idea why this happens? tried to use other perpectives and other curve tools like bezier but no luck. tried to do the exact same thing as you did but alas no luck.
@@JoshAntonio nah it wasn't that. i figured it out. unlike max, in MAYA u cant add new object when ur in isolated mode. i was drawing with ep curve, while isolating the img, that's y 🤖
mans speaking in cursive. good thing there's a cc but very very helpful thank you so much
Even slowed down to 0.75x I had a hard time understanding him.
Thank you soooo much man. This thing converting nurbs to polys helped me a lot thanks again🤝

The curve tool didn't work for me, do you know why?
Not too sure, but you could try going to the 'show' tab for the viewport and make sure 'NURBS Curves' is checked.
i can't see curve tool in orthographic view 😵
yah that nurbs thing is checked
If "NURBS Curves" is checked on, you might need to create a new view. Go to panels > orthographic > new > then chose which new view you want

i had to like re-watch certain part multiple times just to catch what you were saying
I’m glad you found it somewhat helpful. These tutorials were awful - I feel I do a better job at presenting these tutorials now.
