Mark.. pop the blue bearing seals off. Take a razor blade and run it on the inside of the seal and remove the excess rubber material. It frees up alot. Especially in the trans. Clean all the black grease out and use some bearing oil..
Mudboss is really an east coast class. Yes, some places out west and south run it. In the midwest we call it slash modified. And use a midwest mod style of body.
Speaking of old I happened to get my hands on a Losi Muggy from 2006 in absolute cherry condition!! Never been ran, any idea if it’s worth anything? If not I really want to bash it!!

I don’t care if it is a roller or missing parts. Local hobby shop here only sells the super expensive stuff anymore, and local used stuff here is more expensive than buying new. with the spring in the front shock the spring was so compressed it felt stiff... when i cut it, it wasnt as compressed and had some springy action again
@@MarkSantaMaria yeah I get you, that was too much preload. But picture this.. uncoil a spring into a straight rod, grab both ends and try to bend it. Now cut it shorter and try to bend it again.. it will be a stiffer spring, cutting a spring ALWAYS makes it stiffer! 😉

Have never been much in to drag racing real or rc. I want to play now. Could you do an episode for the newbie explaining what and how's when I first show up with a car. And what classes mean what. My converted Slash has stock motor and esc, Same for my Losi and Associated cars.
