Ross ..just been viewing your North Pennine Journey Ultra 2023…..brilliant accomplishment and what a fillip for the rest of the year. I’ve only recently come across your ultra race vids and I find them both entertaining and a great incentive when on my treadmill. Years back I was London based and a member of 1st Belgrave Harriers then Blackheath Harriers running my best London marathon time in 2hrs 49 before relocating with family to North Lancashire at the age of 45 and discovering fell running…what a baptism. Now living in the North West Highlands near Ullapool and at the age of 69 only now discovering ultra running although my wife thinks I’m bonkers …..but it’s rewarding bonkers. Wishing you continued enjoyment in the diverse outdoors and myriad of landscapes the UK has to offer…ATB
Thank you Michael. I’d love to have the north west highlands on my doorstep. Did a mountain marathon up that way a few years back and it was amazing and brutal at the same time.
Well done Ross, I met you up on Nevis last year and here you are winning races now. I'm 45 too, so who knows what might lie in front of me.😂 Congrats again.

Epic that Ross..your progress has been amazing..made up for you..must have been a whole new experience being at the front and wondering how it would pan out..loved seeing your whole family being there supporting you..great achievement.. it’s what running and life is all about.. top stuff..👏👏👏
