She's got a fabulous voice that is perfect for this type of song 😊 Not something I would listen to, but 10/10 for the voice and delivery, no question. The band and backing singers were top notch too 😊
Funny you're mentioning PMJ, because I just came home from watching PMJ live here in Kempten, BavaRAYEa, Germany, 10 year anniversary, and first thing I did was looking for new RAYE reactions on YT, cause PMJ were great and had some really good vocalists, but RAYE is better, tbh... Actually for me as a BavaRAYEan, she's the best thing coming from the UK ever since Amy Winehouse... You guys should be really proud of her, world class act, and react to more of her, so many really awesome recordings to discover... Been heavily on Angelina Jordan and Haley Reinhart for four years now, but ever since I discovered RAYE four months ago, she took over and is now consuming about 80 or even 90% of my YT time! And she's only about to begin, this is so exciting! Her recent performances were even better, (she worked her butt off this summer, surfing the tide of her winning six (not only one!) Brit awards in 2024, which is more than anyone else, even Adele, achieved in one year ever before, and touring the entire world (almost: Chile, Argentine, Brazil, Japan, all over Europe, US, Canada...) She said she would love to perform in Africa...and sing more in French... You guys should react to some of the songs she performed at the famous Montreux Jazz Festival ("Smoke On The Water"...) in August this year, mostly originals except for an epic cover of James Brown's "It's A Man's, Man's, Man's Word" (on her channel). You can start with that one before really digging into her splendid original songwriting and story telling... And her band members are just incredible musicians, each and every single one of them... music can't get any better for me! Peace and love!
Hi Brits You didn't hear anything yet. I'm an Angel (ina fan) for more then 4 years and never thought I would find someone who can reach Angelina's level, till i found Raye half a year ago. I had the luck to see her live at North Sea Jazz last july. She was phenomenal! Maybe you start with this one to learn her better " Oscar winning tears" at the Royal Albert Hall th-cam.com/video/BtdBQ1-fzXM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=VzT6Hy1S7kc47YGM And then the North Sea Jazz it's a man's world th-cam.com/video/MYU5dlZPcL8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=opV47H8ZrDsBT_Rj
100% check out "Oscar Winning Tears" Live at the Royal Albert Hall, and her Brit Awards Medley. She is independent and won 6 if 7 awards nominated.

React to her BRIT Award performance!!
James Bond with Rayes jazzy vocals? There is no better pairing than that.
