🎊Happy New Year!🎉 To the Family of BIS!💒 This was a wonderful way to start the exit of the Holidays!.. Now to look to the near future and the rest of the year.. May God Bless us with the strength to carry on...😌🤗💕
Now that's aplomb - taking your much-deserved bow at the end...in your socks! Many thanks, Richard, for bringing us such a festive recital. Happy New Year to you all at BIS.
Thank you. Blessings for 2023. Pleased you included Truro. Watched their services where Andrew played organ and conducted St Mary's choir. Take care from New Zealand 🇳🇿. 🙏🙏🙏
Just caught up with tonight. What a fantastic compilation. You’re a genius Richard. Thankyou so much. Happy New Year Richard, Caroline and Hugo and all Bis addicts. Trevor and Jan - Canewdon Essex 😊😊👏👏🐈🐈
Happy New Year to you Richard, Caroline and Hugh as well as the expected new arrival! This is a magnificent fireworks party, Richard. Salisbury sounds amazing of course after its major restoration. I look forward to this time next year when Winchester will have completed its restoration and will be up there again alongside all these other magnificent organs to which we are being treated. Thank you Richard.
Happy New Year Richard and Caroline 🎉 I enjoy these videos showing the different cathedrals you play at. I am amazed at how beautiful the architecture is and how beautiful each pipe organ is. Hope you do these videos again next year. Really enjoyed your videos and VC this year and looking forward to more next year. Thank you🌷
Richard, what spectacular way to begin the amazing things what you will be doing for the BIS community in 2023! Wishing you a New Year filled with happiness and success.
Wow😮 That Cochereau piece was completely unknown to me, and I love it. Have heard Gloucester organ several times in person, but never did I hear it sound this good. Winchester and Salisbury are local to me and favourites of mine. Sitting in the choir at Winchester is like nothing else. Fantastic recital. You are so talented and really enjoy following your channel. 👏
What a FANTASTIC way to end our year & begin a new one ... with your MAGNIFICENT MUSIC, & the CATHEDRAL SCENERY, Richard! THANK YOU for sharing your talents & bringing such glorious music & visual effects into our homes & world. Blessed New Year to you & your beloved family!
Richard, I’m listening to this on Jan 3. It is really great. Love your selections, and as always, you play them with such style and grace, and tremendous skill. One thing I love about your style of playing, is that your joy of sharing your musical gift is evident with every note you play. The look of enjoyment and almost serenity on your face, and the ease with which you play every note, is just sublime for your listeners. Thank you for your work in bringing this program to your audience. Hope you, Caroline, and Hugo are blessed greatly in the new year.
Best NYE’s party ever!! Thank you Richard for putting this together. You have made my 2022 so special. You are family. It’s nearly time to renew and I will at an increased level. Also, I am planning to put together a top five. You have enjoyed my suggestions in the past. Just wait. As a soloist and hymn singer I know Anglican hymns inside out!

I have never heard that one. Totally amazing!!!💪💪 Widor!!!!! Fantastic!!!🤗 Ooh i love heavy organ!!!!!🥰🥰 Thank you Ricky!😊
Is there a place where we can make suggestions on songs to be played in upcoming videos? I was wondering if you have even heard the theme from Elfen Lied - "Lilium"? There have been few attempts at it on organ but they are just ok. Would be cool to see what you could do with it!
Richard - I am so glad that I found this channel. I love listening to your playing. I was wondering if you could help identify the piece being played in the video link? Is it in your repertoire? I'd love to hear your interpretation. th-cam.com/video/3Wpn7xyzUqg/w-d-xo.html

Endlich mal wieder in Socken gespielt. Danke! Totalgefühl für Musik, Raum, Kosmos und Selbst!❤ Dlihmri.
It's great to see another organist play the pedals in their stocking feet. I never got used to playing with organ shoes.
the Cochereau by John Hosking, absolutely terrific!
You should check out John’s Blackburn recital on BIS. It’s stunningly good!

Happy New Year. Great selection. Also First time I discover pressing 2 notes on one foot is possible :)
I love when people take the tempo shower so we can hear more voices 👌😊😊😊😊

I spent New Year's day listening to this mix. In this day and age,
I feel like I want to spend a year with a clear heart. Thank you

That looks like a large-sized Kindle-like device he is reading his music from. Can anyone tell me what it is and where it may be obtained?
It’s an iPad Pro, available from all good Apple stores
@@beautyinsound Many thanks for the info.

It is almost certainly an improvisation by the sounds of it.
@@beautyinsound thank you for the information.
Fantastic performance, but Bach would consider socks undignified!
It's the only way to play! I am sure Bach had a great sense of humor.
Or, he may find them delightful as I did !
I’m an amateur, but I often play in sock feet. Much better feel of the pedals.
good songs!
besides a lot of gay socks
Thanks for a great 2022 rap up.🎉 Happy New Years to all at BIS. Can’t wait to see and hear what is in store for 3023!🎊🪅
It is absolute forbidden to play with socks :P hahahahha (so they learned me) lol
