    Love your videos. Maybe on another rainy day you could do a big year end crunch of all of your data, ranking all of the cars you tested by various criteria: best cold weather car, longest range, most comfortable, quietest, et cetera, and then presenting your overall ranking that takes all of these factors into consideration.

    The tap water thingy in German is called "Perlator" and it saves water and reduces splashing.

    12:00 The flow is laminar until the water is transparent. At above a certain speed/pressure it becames turbulent. The filter reduces the threshold.

    nice look into your off-day(s). about the locking the GTX, they cannot be closed automatically when you walk away. There is simply no setting. It can only unlock automatically when you walk towards it. Locking is done by two methods. keyfob or touch the door handle (on the little dash indentation).

    7:08 Succes breaking double or triple layered glass without getting noticed by the neighbors. I understand that the gasses inside the window and the different air pressure outside of the window can make quiet a bang 🧨

    Bjorn, I live in Northern California snd here we pay 0.45 per Kwh in US dollar. I found a NOK conversion calculator and its shows that it is 4.97 NOK. Off peak which is anytime before 4pm and after 8pm we pay 0.35 which is 3.86 NOK per online calc. Funny thing is the local Tesla SC is usually 0.26 so less than i pay at home on L2. We just installed Tesla Solar last year and that has made our electric bill almost 0 now even with charging the EV. That is why if people from the US say it will cost you a fortune to heat the pool, it's because we pay a lot in the US, especially California. Great video of the family life behind the scenes.

    Thanks Bjorn for the family time vid. Thai dinner was very colorful. House is looking good! When electricity is sometimes almost free, why not drive an EV?

    It's funny to hear about the "kilos". In Australia, "kilos" can be used to refer to weight. Whereas for distance we'd use "k's"

    Easy to be vise afterwards but when we built terass around ower pool it was sugested that the terass would be 2-3 cm lower than the edge of the pool so that when you have to put oil on terass that it do not flow in to the pool. Also dirt from the terass wount flou as easy in to the pool.

    Germans say "Kilo" for kilogrammes aswell 😁 and sometimes (by older people I guess, usually referring to food, like butter), 250 grammes are called "Ein halbes Pfund", half a pound, although that only roughly matches. But also they say "three times more" (dreimal mehr), when actually they mean "three times as much" (dreimal so viel) which is confusing already. But when they say "dreimal weniger" (three times less), I'm totally lost. Because it would meen two times negative the same value. So three times less of a base value of 50 would be -100 (1 times 50 is 50, based on that 50 figure, one time less would be zero, two times less would be -50, three times less would be -100 and so on), but I think saying three times less, they mean "a third" (ein Drittel) - in this case it would mean 16.666....
    People don't know about math, physics and units, they use terms that might sound as if they'd make sense 😆

    Does insurance require some extra layer of (camera)security with your new home? Can imagine that with some expensive cars you test from time-by-time.

    is it true that there is a 0% VAT for EVs and I can buy Tesla M3 for 410k NOK - 35k Euros and drive in EU?

    • @kengucam
      @kengucam ปีที่แล้ว

      When importing into EU you will need to pay the VAT (of the EU country) and depending on where in EU there are also possible import duties. Edit: even on a used car. This is the reason why not so many evs are imported to EU from Norway but piling up in Norway

      Germany just needs to take the shit together and catch up on their electrical grid. Smart meters, zoning of Germany, even more thicc cable to Denmark also to use our wind and Norway hydro excess.
      By the way thanks for you paying us danes money to stop windmills ❤
