In live versions Wheein always stands out, not because others are lacking anything but I guess she has this type of voice and technique you get to appreciate more in more intimate sound settings, if that makes any sense.

They all standout for me when it come to live especially Solar and Hwasa, mainly each one of them have different style and they slay, Solar with the belting and her powerful vocals, moonbyul with her standing out rap, Wheein with her falsettos. head voice on the adlibs and her breathy sound, and Hwasa with her diversity, range and soulful vocals
She's like the backbone of MMM
For me she stands out the most tbh that too effortlessly an amzing singer

Wheein definitely needs more attention... She's known for her amazing OST songs but she really deserves to become a popular solo singer like Hwasa and Solar 😭
Sure of course but well I mean she has said it herself that she didn’t like that kind of you know “all eyes on her kinda thing” attention. She’s not that type kind of person. Like all of them also deserve more attention tbh (solar, moonbyul, wheein, and even hwasa). It’s not like one should deserve more attention while the other deserve less. Wheein is constantly mentioned as underrated and that just is not true at all. Every comeback and album Wheein is showered with love and proclaimed as the vocal backbone of Mamamoo. It's just that she's so powerful that we are affected by "comeback amnesia" every time Mamamoo comes back. I noticed this when Dingga was released and I was like "Wow, Wheein is slaying hard. Was she always like this?". I remembered that I had the exact same reaction to Wanna Be Myself, Candy, 25, Easy, Hip(that Studio Choom performance specifically), etc and that she's just that good that we can be amazed by her vocals every time. Part of it is that Wheein gives most of her energy to singing and dancing and only a little is left for presence. But do you need that much when you can sing and dance as well as she can? 😂 Also, between promotional periods Wheein puts the baseball caps and sweatsuits back on and sort of goes into hiding while Solar, Moonbyul, and Hwasa continue to be active on social media and in our minds(and our hearts!). Basically, Wheein has the biggest big dick energy every comeback and we are just dumb for forgetting who we're dealing with.

Mamamoo's producer is one of the best Korean music producer Kim Do Hoon and Park Woo Sang. They directed BTS, CherryBullet, SF9 and so much of Korean ballads.

The rainbow of vocal colors they each have individually and the glorious blends they make when they harmonize in every variation from 2 to 4 parts is jaw-dropping and miraculous and then you add in their goofiness, comradery, and the pure joy they bring to every performance ... how can you not fall in love with them?
Two moments are my favs - in Starry Night when Wheein supplies her own delay on "bam" and then laughs about it to Hwasa (who doesn't notice) and in I Miss You when Hwasa raises her hand before Solar sings a gospel-style high-flying line, as tho to say "Take us to the promised land, Sister Yongsun."
I think that delay was Byul's voice (sorry if I misunderstood your comment, actually I don't really get it 😅)
To me Solar did amazing on this she killed every song and those high notes

During this part 5:00 I rremember you guys reacting to their Queendom performance with this same song and thought this part was lipsyc since hwasa drop her mic a bit early than Solar, but THEY REALLY SING LIVE IN EVERY PERFORMANCE, the only bad thing about Mamamoo is they're not good at lip syncing. They sounds so perfect that others mistakes them for lip sync. They even wants to have a low mmr so that their voice could be hear more. That's how good mamamoo are 💚

I was looking foward to your reaction to this one, because for me this is trully a GIFT for the fans. I lost count on how many times I've watched the official video, and then, the reactions to it, and everytime I watch I get more in love with them.
About Byul, she's so stable, charismatic and talented, it's refreshing. About Solar, I think we kinda got so used to her being always flawless (and that she makes it seems so easy) that we sometimes forget how amazing talented she is. Hwasa's presence and her soulfull voice always gets me in my heart, and Wheein... Wheein is just pure art and talent, she's really special, the more you get to know her, the more you'll fall for her.
Also, Mamamoo as a group in general, came to level up the standards on music. Not just kpop, but music around the world. Their performances, voices, their personalitys... I mean, who else in the world can sing "I miss you" like that and then just do "HIP" right after so cheerfull? You can trully see they love to do what they're doing, and we love to watch it!
