I just found your channel day before yesterday. I was streaming your videos yesterday and my husband walked in. He sat down and watched with me. He finally said "I like her". I told him I did too because you don't act all high and mighty. You're just in there cookin'. Today, we sat down to lunch and when we finished we went to the living room and Jimmy said "Put that woman on". I knew he was talking about you, so here we sit, watchin' Talli Faye cook. I'm so glad we found you. You will be a main source of ideas for good meals. We live in North Florida, about 40 miles east of Tallahassee. Can't wait for the next one...God Bless!

I love your grit and down to earth attitude and your candid personality and talk, very refreshing. Thanks from Texas and I will be one of many waiting for other videos you post in the future. For those w. Diabetes make an apricot pie , need a crust. Just cut up a bag of apricots diced small put in pot & cover w. Water. Simmer until the fruit is mushed tender watch close add water if needed , just a little, once its soft mash up add a little corn starch to thicken. & bake .no sugar needed the fruit is sweet enough. Bakes @ 350 for 30 min.
You are a blessing to us out here that love authentic people like you we love you too girlfriend, your the kind of person I wish lived next door! God bless you all!
I made it and made a couple of adjustments according to your comments. I was worried about sweetness also so I used caramel chips and then poured out half of the can of sweetened condensed milk and filled it back up with heavy cream mixing good before adding. Turned out great, let it cool completely and it was delicious. So rich.
Talli Faye I just love watching you! 😂 Much love & blessings to you! I'll be watching! Thank you so much for allowing us to visit with you in your kitchen.
Found your channel this morning and love your down to earth commentary. The pie looks delicious. I think the added course salt would be wonderful. Gonna have to try it. You have yourself a great day. 😊
That pie does look appealing once baked. Thanks for testing this one out. Sometimes, unless you make something yourself, it is hard to tell what you are going to end up with or whether you are going to like it, especially with something that has mixed reviews. Thanks for all the tips. This pie sounds like a pie someone made up in his head, putting things together he liked not out of a test kitchen. It does sound like an expensive one to make.
A glass of cold milk or a cup of hot pecan coffee with this pie……mmmm! Being a diabetic I would never eat this pie but sure wish I could convert it to sugar free. How awesome this looks! Thank you for sharing with us. This is my first time visiting your channel. Round O, SC

Just tuned in for the first time this morning. You are enjoyable to watch as you handle the issue of some people saying the pie was too hard. Maybe those folks should cut the whole pie while it is still warm, just like you did. There, another problem solved! TalliFaye, I've never heard of this pie before. I've made those 7 Layer Bars & found them very sweet, so I don't think I will make this pie. This week I made an Applesauce pie, which turned out great. You have a very blessed day tomorrow 🌈💛🙏💛🌈

Hi Talli Faye!! Greetings from Durham NC!! I just found your channel yesterday and love you already!! Your remind me of my family! Lol. Your recipes pulled me in but your personality will keep me here. 😂 Your recipes (especially the chicken and dumplings 😋🤤) reminds me of the food I grew up on and also cooked for my own children. I will be sharing your channel with my youngest daughter (she's 24) so she can continue to learn how to cook because she moved all the way up to Ohio. She's not near me anymore so I can continue to teach her cooking skills but I feel like she could learn a lot from you & your videos. Also, just a word regarding the sweetness of the pie, when adding salt/salty elements to a dessert, it actually intensifies the sweetness so maybe I will leave off the extra salt on the top of it if I make this.

Love your video. Looks a might too sweet for us tho. Maybe a video sometime stirring up a scratch cake sometime. As grandma used to say, "Scratch us out a cake"
My thoughts are that one reason this pie may turn out *hard* could be that the mixture was pressed to firmly into the pie shell. I would definitely smooth the top of the mixture, then ever so *lightly* press it into the shell. But, I would not compact it. I believe the mixture would *bake/melt* in the oven & produce a somewhat lighter filling. ☺️

😂😂, I love the name of this pie!
I have never heard of this pie. It does look good! I would like to try it but with the following changes:
1. Like you, I would leave out
the caramel and use the
toffee (Heath bar bits)
2. Leave out the broken
graham crackers and add
an extra cup of broken
pretzels.
3. I would eliminate half the
sweetened condensed milk
and replace that with 7 oz
of homemade clotted
cream.
4. Instead of adding Kosher
salt to the top, I would add
a few pinches of flaked salt.
Hopefully, these changes would significantly decrease the sweetness of the pie without affecting the texture.
I bet it would work! 😊♥️

God’s Blessings friend ♥️🙏🏻😊
Looks fabulous
Love your video. Looks a might too sweet for us tho. Maybe a video sometime stirring up a scratch cake sometime. As grandma used to say, "Scratch us out a cake"
I’ve got some on here … way down in the archives is one called Coconut Dream ( I think lol )… it’s a family favorite ❤️
Reminds me of the famous 7 layer bars.
LMMFAO😂 my son said she sounds like you Mom😂😂😂 we live in Houston😂😂
BAHAHAHAHA!!🤣♥️… I love it!
Well I've heard of Dirt Dessert, but not Texas Trash Pie! Yum!
Looks delicious 😋
My thoughts are that one reason this pie may turn out *hard* could be that the mixture was pressed to firmly into the pie shell. I would definitely smooth the top of the mixture, then ever so *lightly* press it into the shell. But, I would not compact it. I believe the mixture would *bake/melt* in the oven & produce a somewhat lighter filling. ☺️
It looked so good. I was chewing while you were chewing.
🤣… lol… It was good!😊
I just found you today ,I’m so glad your a hoot !
Lol 😂… Thanks for joining me in the kitchen!😊
