It’s kind of reminiscent of Queen in that the competition at the time had more listeners and later people wonder how they missed it at the time. When I first heard, like two years ago, I thought it was a U2 song. Now I’ve heard it numerous times and hear lots of bands but I seriously could see Queen doing this song it’s that good

There's an excellent reason why Muse is so popular and respected, it's because they cannot be easily classified into just a genre of music, they are a versatile band whose music can attract nearly all kinds of audience.
Not only they experiment with different sounds (check the difference between Hysteria and this song!) their music is also ensured quality. They experiment, but they do it right.

I’m not attacking you, but I sure as hell know someone will do this, just you wait. My point is, why not avoid, you know? I understand you and I know when you feel great about something we feel the need to share, but for the sake of order and sanity in this world, do it only with a specifically kind of people that will gladly take part in it, not to some strangers on the internet.

Muse usually have two kinds of music. First is the one that you instantly love, like Hysteria, Supremacy or Dead Inside.
The other one is like Madness, which sounds boring at first listen, but once you "get" it, is impossible to not love.

Madness is a song that anyone can relate and connect with who has experienced significant pain and loss in their life, whether it be the death of a loved one, or the loss of an ex. This song touches that part of your soul that only those who have done their own soul searching can truly feel...

I don't know if many of you have seen Muse live, but Madness goes even further played in concert, thicker fuller, rocker, and amazing vocals

Concur. If you haven’t seen them LIVE, you are missing out on one of the beauties in Life…watching Matt use that guitar like it was a part of him.
      Awesome guitar performer & player.

I’ve seen them live 3 times and I will always love to see them over and over again. I haven’t enjoyed their newer stuff as much as I did pre-2nd Law but there is just nothing like being in a packed stadium with people 8-80, all losing our voices and having a truly amazing and emotional experience together.
I got goosebumps writing this, thinking about each amazing time I had seeing them live.

Memories are the most important thing to Alzheimer’s peeps. I’m caring for my father, and he is near the end. Bringing up his past, and youthful memories seems to to keep him energized. It’s extremely difficult, for me.
