We did a fly in at wabakimi around the Berg at the same time. The fires burned the whole time we we there. Everyone's sinuses bothered them badly from all the smoke. Still a great trip

Awesome!! I'm thoroughly enjoying this trip video series, your best one so far, I'd say. Unreal the amount of monstrous fish you boys are pulling in on this trip, some people go a whole season and only get into one or two as large. Unique having a channel where two people trade off, back and forth, so seamlessly, on camera and on mic. Keep on "sending it" boys!!! MbD

Thanks for following along! We were extremely fortunate to have had such great fishing. Appreciate the feedback on our camera work, we have been pals since elementary school so it just comes naturally. Cheers!

I am really enjoying this series for the second time now but can't help noticing that the pike you are catching look like pickeral but the walleye don't. LOL

Another awesome video guys! I can't get over the size of those pike! This past summer I switched over to lard (tenderflake) to fry my fish. Higher flash point, less messy, long shelf life and solid at room temp...lard makes everything better lol! Looking forward to more vids.

You were definitely smelling forest fires, Wabakimi was covered with them this year. I was stationed there as a Fireranger in the summer and put out 4 in the park. Wabakimi was the best camping I've ever done on a fire though, would love to paddle it sometime.
