@@ImplodingChicken Just tested, and yes the charged bow will do it. Unfortunately not the sword, as that would let you skip the wind echo in a minimum learned run.
These alternative run videos are off the charts. Thank you. Question: The title doesnt specify if this is a glitchless run. So it is glitchless? Speaking of whoch, Is reverse biding Bombchus a glitch?
i don't think reverse binding bombchus is a glitch because reverse binding is an intended feature and the game encourages creative solutions like that.
6:04 you know, that solution makes alot more sense... what i ended up doing was summoning the ghost that creates fire pools and trying to summon him behind the ghosts that spawn in the room so i can get him to accidentally hit the switch...
I'm currently on a game where I do the ice and fire areas before zorra and Garudo. Not completing first, getting there echos first. Interesting to see what will and won't spawn before Hyrule Castle and doing ice on five hearts
I figured out a way to transport a Snowball (or more easily a Snomaul, which also works for "What is Snow... Really?") off Hebra Mountain, but it requires several echo summons so it's only useful in a minimum echoes learned run. If you're able to climb up Hebra Mountain from below, and then never stand on anything besides echoes, your "last safe ground" will never update to be on Hebra. The death plane which zones you out when you fall of Hebra appears to be coded such that it only functions when your last safe ground is on Hebra itself (presumably so that it doesn't activate when reached from below). It's very tricky, but but possible to climb the mountain using a few dozen flying tiles and place a table to stand on, then keep summoning tables to get a Snomaul near the western edge. I making a 2x2 platform of tables with two more hanging off the edge on the far side of the Snomaul as a guard rail before trying to pull off its head, then grab it and make sure it's not blocked by a wall before jumping off the mountain. The Snomaul will shake free after a couple seconds of Bind, so I kept it targeted the while transporting it was easy to regrab and made sure to never pull it over water. A live Ghini can technically hit the switch under the graveyard, but I was only able to do it by baiting it to attack a summoned Ignizol an quickly using Bind to push it back to the switch. It seems to be simply too far a distance to bind it to the switch when it's baited by Zelda herself though. If you don't count the collection of costumes toward 100%, then you can skip one of the Holmill echoes by scanning a Zelda character amiibo that isn't Link or Zelda to get the Black Cat Costume which has the same function as the Cat Costume from the quest. That being said, the cat costume is a permanent item in the inventory so it probably should be counted toward 100%.
Also I was able to get the learned echoes down to 18 (not counting Automatons) for all side quests: - Table, Bombfish, Holmill, Elephant Statue, Hawk Statue, and Ancient Orb are again required for base game completion with no alternatives - Ignizol, Ice Octo, Biri, and Tornando cover the elemental requirements for game completion while also being needed for Dampe's quests, "The Zora Child's Fate," and "Tornado Ghost" - Tektite (either level), Mothula (either level), Firework, Deku Baba (Bio or Lv. 2), Sword Moblin (any level), and Crow are needed for Dampe's quests - Tangler (either level) is needed for "The Zora Child's Fate" - Flying Tile is needed for "The Flying Tile"
This game is about taking advantage of every single thing or being that isn't nailed down & a few that are.
Charged swordfighter shots can break sand piles, which might be able to save an echo use at 5:32
Wait really??

Oh nice! Good to know!
Awesome video! I’ve been loving this series!

Thanks! It is glitchless. And yeah, reverse bond is a built-in mechanic so I don't consider it a glitch.
7:21 I don't recall ever finding this.

what is snow really can be cleared with a snow pokey too try carrying that or some other ice enemy
From another comment, sounds like it would take some summons even to get alternative snow/ice objects down there.

Thanks for those details! Haha yeah I suppose Fewest Learned 100% is yet another category.
You didn't complete the map😔
I didn't realise ghirro's went that far when you held them to fly
Also wondering how long this took in total
I didn't count exact hours, but I put in time over 3-4 days after completing the base game.
Amazing video! Are you planning on playing mario & luigi brotherahip when it releases?
Thanks! I do plan on making some Brothership content, although will be mostly busy for 5 days after its release.
5:07 Can't you use the goldfinch automaton, or do you consider automatons to be cheating?
EDIT: ah, you do. I suppose that's fair.
Yeah not cheating, but as mentioned, I count automatons as summons as well as not doing so would negatively impact other parts of the challenge, IMO.
