Ahhhhh I can't eat anything that's even a little bit spicy because of gastritis issues 😅 I sure miss it! This looks awesome though so might make it for my husband and live out my foodie dreams vicariously through him 😂
Oh, and glad you both got your 1st vaccine doses. Did you both get Pfizer? That's what I got. I had a sore arm also after the 1st shot, then felt a little sick for 3 days after the 2nd shot, but nothing bad.
Yummmmmm I may make this today! I have been looking for dishes that I can add my bumper crop of perilla leaves. Kyuho, I am glad that you were able to get your first shot! Here in the US they have just told us that after 8 months we need to get a third shot which means I’ll need to get another shot in October. Even though I am fully vaccinated, I have not ditched my mask when I go out. And I am so glad I have done that as or positive cases are once again rocketing up to levels we haven’t seen since mid 2020. Stay Safe and hopefully soon you two can do some traveling.

I'm curious. I've noticed that in Corea people usually omit the articles "the", "a", "an", etc. when speaking English. For example, at 7:07 the article "the" was left out. He said "before pandemic actually" instead of "before the pandemic actually". Are Coreans taught to omit the English articles? I suspect so because this is very common with English speaking in Corea. Thanks for the great recipe and video!
That’s because there are no articles like them in Korean-they simply don’t exist :) Koreans have different ‘subject and object marking particles’ that don’t exist in English, which I (Sarah) have difficulty with!

Maybe we should all speak this way and eliminate words that don't really affect the essence of the sentence. That would make for more efficient communications. I've cooked rabokki before but somehow I missed something 🤔🤨 - I love (spicy) ramyeon I love tteokbokki but rabokki could be a bit...much 😅🙈. But this makes me want to have another go at cooking rabokki 😆😉✨
