Jack, I always look forward to see what you’re doing in my favorite place in the whole world. I absolutely love the lake Luna, Glen Arbor area of Michigan. It is absolutely one of my favorite vacation up there all my life from the time I was a teenager till just a couple years ago And I love seeing it we always camped on Lake Leelanau for years as my entire family would go up and take seven and eight spots for a full week the end of July beginning of August, and then for years, my sisters and my niece and friend would rent a cabin at the wheel back in the big cabin and spend a long weekend there. Never enough time up there. I love watching you plant I love to see what you’re putting in. Thank you for starting them up and I hope you do do more this year, have a great year

Crazy how much further we are in plant growth down south of Northern MI. I'm in Grand Rapids and my gorgeous Red Bud has bloomed and leafed out.
Lovely home and gardens. Well done!
YAY Jack is back 😊 Such a beautiful property, and as usual you took it to the next level with help from Julia, it is stunning with all the color and textures. Can't wait for a revisit! Am so glad that its that time of year to see all your new projects and visions come to life! Thank you for taking the time to share this with us! 🙏
Nice property. Beautiful landscaping and plantings.
Thanks Jack for the beautiful tour on Lake Leelanau. I am anxious to view it when filled in with blooms.
What a beautiful home and Lake view! Wow! Lucky people. When you get away from the camera, it's hard to hear you. do you have a microphone? just a thought.
the geese bring their chicks to show me the day they hatch because they know i am happy for them
That's so cool! Obviously they have a special place to live and know they are loved.
Thank you for another wonderful video.
Missed your Michigan videos Jack! Great to see you back. I look forward to more videos. Any Mackinaw Island ones included in future videos?
Yes!! Headed to the island for a couple
Big weeks of planting this weekend!!
Please post some videos on Mackinac Island to see what you guys are planting and any new projects
Thank you for sharing :)
Great job - your garden will certainly develop into a beautiful colourful place. Very pretty and well thought through
Great to see you again! I was on Mackinac 2 weeks ago ( mid midge season). I've never been there in May, I forgot it was a bit early for the gorgous flowers. We did walk past your Grandma's house though.
Glad to see a fresh video, thank you! I’d like to see some updates on the landscape ground covers you planted in the last few years and see how they are growing.
Been waiting for the next video, friend! Can’t wait to see what you guys are working on now!
Just beautiful Jack and Julia!😊
Missed u much
Gorgeous property and landscaping. Thanks for sharing, always enjoy your videos!
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing your MI projects. We are almost to the landscaping part of our new build in WI and I get tons of ideas from you r projects. Now I just have to figure out how to execute those ideas! ….details, details…..lol!
Thanks Jack, I haven't seen you in awhile! Beautiful property. Please do a revisit later in the season! Julia does nice work!
What a beautiful garden! Looking forward to seeing your next video
Do you ever plant May Apples? We had a patch by the trees at our lake house. I looked forward to watching them comeback every year. Trilliums too.
We do!!
Can I recommend a wireless microphone set up, I really enjoy your videos, better audio quality would make it more enjoyable.
Hi Jack! Always happy to see what you've been up to!
Looking forward to this video 🥰
Watching you from Delaware.
Any chance you could revisit this later in the season with your camera? It would be nice to see those plants in their prime.
Yep- will do!!
Sure hope you have the opportunity to update us on the garden later in the summer. It’s already gorgeous!
That's the plan!
I love this prop, excellent job!! I have a question on your beds, you use edging in all these beds. Is that something you recommend?
🙋
Good to see you again ! Are you back in the north for the summer ?
Yep!!
they eat grasss they are wonderful kind birds and once they know you they recognixe you and fly by to say hello fabulous birdws they fertilize the lawn
What type of metal edging did the homeowner utilize? I could really use recommendations.
Permatek
Hi guys, may I ask what kind of edging you used on this beautiful yard?
The edging used to as a black anodized aluminum edging- permatek I believe is the brand…
THANKS JACK ❤❤❤, SOUTH GEORGIA PEACH 🍑
can you please tell me which variety of grass is grown in the lawns of this property?
A blend of mostly perennial rye, creeping red fescue, and Kentucky blue grass
Any reason for the annual lemon coral sedum vs perennial? Or just watching watch does well the first year?
It is mostly to allow for the shrub, perennial selections to have a year to settle- see exactly how different things do in the conditions, and tune/enhance with other perennial Groundcovers and less annuals next year~~
@@JackBarnwellDesign why you are brilliant….as I spent the holiday moving plants around.
Do you worry the ajuga planted by the drive will escape into the wooded area and take over / compete with natives ( ... it can be pretty invasive ) ?
Hi! Wondering where you get your work shirts and work pants! They look like they are durable and comfortable and my husband needs some quality work clothes. Thanks for any help you can give!
Columbia shirts- carhartt pants
Watching this with longingly while melting in 95F 80%RH 😰
Ajuga will take over the woods, just as bad as snow on the mountain. not worth it.
Do you do pro bono work , lol !
Thank you, please don’t disappear 🫥
Stunning
