That pizza in your first stop on Bleecker Street is real true authentic pizza . Incredible how many Americans think they have eaten real pizza but actually have not because they are getting low quality , chemical and preservative filled pizza from those god-awful chain stores like Domino's or Papa John's ... There's a whole generation of Americans who have never ever had real pizza ... and they don't even know it . Yes real authentic pizza usually will use mozzarella imported from Italy .
Love Pomme Frites!! You can also take your cone of frites to go - just ask for the sauce "on top" and take a fork and hold the cone in your hand and walk on your way! This is helpful if the place is crowded with NYU students and/or tourists. I get a regular with War Sauce (frites sauce, peanut satay & raw onion) on top with a fork and walk on (and attract alot of attention too)! 😋😋
