Create a drop shadow in Adobe Illustrator (Tutorial)

This tutorial is pretty much a really simple way to create a drop nice blocky superhero-esque drop shadow in Adobe Illustrator. It deals mostly with the blend tool and how it can be used with text.

(ADOBE CC 2020) It worked for me once the type was converted to "outlines" (Type>Create Outlines). Thanks for the upload.

When I do this and zoom in close there are tiny triangles on lines that should be smooth even at high numbers. How to smooth?

Hello, I want to make a drop shadow on the text that's on a circular path. However, the "Make" option in Object > Blend isn't visible. How can I fix this?

Yeah I just tried it and the same thing happened. I expanded the text and it worked though...the only issue is that the text will no longer be editable, but that's the work around. Not sure if anyone else has a better fix

@@NicholasHuggins You have to 'Convert to Point type' in the Type menu. It won't let you blend editable type if its 'Area type.'
