I doubt the designers of the plate colors even realize the history goes back that far. I would have made the NAG plate a purpure background with a gold number. Then all the plates would follow heraldry guidelines.
That was very informative. No where else have I found such a simple, straight forward explanation on plates, colors, and what numbers do I put on my plate. Thanks!
Thanks, man. I always say, my goal in every video is to accomplish one of two things: 1.) Make a better version of existing videos. 2.) Make something no one else has done. In this case, I've never seen a video explaining BMX number plates, so I figured it was a great topic to share with beginners. Glad you enjoyed it.
Always very happy to see a new release from you, I’ve said it before, you should be on on something like PBS America, you’re style is laid back learning and I love it, please never give up.
Thank you kindly for the compliments and I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I appreciate it. Hosting on a TV show would be fun. Never really thought about it.
Yes, most all of this is in the manul, so I almost didn't make a video. But so many people ask questions about the colors, it was obvious a lot of folks don't read that part.
Id just like to see real dirt tracks, smaller starting hills, and consistant pedaling. Pure BMX, not a pedal four times and coast around a big pump track. Bring the crumby responses.
Yes! Great to see an upload here.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
Great video, I would have never thought number plates were based off of medieval shields 🤘

That Bad News Bears Jersey makes you a hero in my book.
Glad you appreciate it. Thank you. I was going to use my BMX number, but I decided I'd rather have Tanner's number instead.

You make very knowledgeable videos 💪👑
This is great info that helps clarify alot before going and reading the manual. (Kids are still on balance bikes for now). Thanks for sharing! 🌞

Who remembers their first number? Mine was "810"
Mine is in the video!

You could always start your own track, or attend Dirtyfest in Temecula, California.
Did you make it to Dirtyfest? @@LearnBMXRacing
@@fatsacks70 No. Unfortunately, I didn't know about the first one until it was over.
Where can i buy one at
You can get them at any good BMX bike shop or online if you search for something like "bmx race plate".
