Jim Gaffigan is, in my opinion, one of the better comics to come along in quite some time. I'm a huge Doug Stanhope fan, and I really like Bill Burr, Dave Attell...I like the off-color stuff of like Daniel Tosh (stand up stuff) and Jeffrey Ross & Louis CK. Mitch Hedberg - Greg Giraldo and Ralphie May (R.I.P. to them) were right down my aisle and Steven Wright is a genius. I even really enjoy watching beginners and the mediocre comics who are still finding their niche - but there's something pure about this guy in the traditional sense and it's undeniable - he's JUST PLAIN FUNNY!

In the early years.. when Letterman did Late Night on NBC.. he was funny and I never missed it. When he moved to CBS to do the Late Show after losing out to Leno for the Tonight Show... Letterman just seemed to become a bitter old unfunny curmudgeon

Johnny Carson and Craig Ferguson are the only two late night talk show hosts I've ever found worth watching. All the rest of them are hacks. Okay Conan's pretty good sometimes.

Every guest: "I had a great time with my family we went to [insert country: Ireland, Pakistan, India, China, Bolivia, Cuba, Finand......]". Craig: *every time* "Ya know I'm not from THERE!. [India] is not Scotland". The mind of every guest: "I know Craig. We all know where Scotland is. We all know you are from Scotland. Maybe see a psychologist before you start a talk show".
