I know that this will get lost in this 4 year old video's comment section but at the very end, you could hear Louie's voice start to crack, and that's when you know what a fantastic soul he has and also what a genuinely kind person Craig is...

Louie a great comedian, story teller, host. I was a adult in my 30s making sure I wouldn't miss "Life with Louie". He brought pure joy into this world, as with many people who didn't have the ideal childhood, he dealt with his upbringing through humor. Enjoy your next journey big guy.

I agree. Louie may not have been the funniest or most famous comedian, but he was very good. His humor was simple straight forward and always in touch with life. He had his own unique style. I watch him now and I think as I have gotten older, he was so in tune then with where I am now.

@@DonnaPiaVocci You're right. And Louie went out of his way in that final clip to say publicly how appreciative he felt toward Craig for the kindness of being there multiple times and the respect he felt from Craig. What a good compilation!
I think he was a force for good. His comedy was never mean and mostly at his own expense. He always had a kind energy, and it was even more pronounced as he got older. I realized just a few years ago how much I liked him and I'm sad now that I never got to see him live or meet him. He was one of the GOATs for sure.

Met Louie Anderson in Atlantic City in 1999 he had a book signing and went to see him after the show. Behind the stage and Louie was sitting in a rather small room with About 15 people. He said hi and he loved my Life shirt he said wow they make great shirts don’t they. I said yes they don’t. He invited me to sit sand talk a while. He had 12 copies of his book for sale and he signed it for me. He wrote to Sam Rip a good friend, Louie Anderson. We. we’re talking about having dads who drank and you know what comes with it…

Turning 57 this year; a lot of what he joked about is true...as he walked to sit down I started weeping...I think because of losing him, and that I recently was realizing that I'd definitely reached the pinnacle of looking behind me to see the top of the hill. I have been trying to desparately communicate to my teenage daughters that I (and they) are'nt going to be around forever. I lost my father when I was 5, he having been murdered at 25...and it shattered my developing little mind. I enjoy doing stand-up, never trying at all to "make it", and hopefully will be getting out there again since, "Hey 19"...we can talk it over.

What a beautiful man he is/was. Saw him in Vegas a few times. He was always funny and polite when you ran into him in the hotel.

Such a throwback artist…subtlety, nuance, genuinely funny universal material…did you ever hear him go blue or vulgar???Never-naughty yes…but he appealed to all ages without being saccharin
    And Never lame--so rare!!!😎

He seemed like a sweetheart. Now whenever I listen to Louie Anderson, all I hear is Christine Baskets. He gave that character his all, and he really became his mama - Christine was one of the best tv mothers of all time. What a loving tribute.

Love Louie Anderson!! Got to see him live years ago in VAlley Forge (?) PA with Dennis Miller. He actually made a joke - and I was spotlighted. Then I saw Louie in a California bookstore when I was on vacation but I never went up to him. He seems very quiet and polite. 😊

Pitch it to Byron Allen! He's most definitely one of the primary executives who can make a version of this workable.
