Everyone on drift suspension! 5. No weight reduction (only allow cars with weight reduction option) 6. Everyone tunes bump and rebound damping to almost zero (however low you can go with a remotely driveable car, at least by your standards) @Failrace

They did that with vintage tires already, besides I know from experience in forza H 4 that if you know how to tune to drag tires they can be almost as good as rally on road, an awd swap makes them halfway decent off for most vehicles that can get them
I dont know but, I kinda wish you guys were allowed to build different versions of a car for different disciplines. I would love to see your full tarmac handling dino compared to a fully dirt rally dino
Alex you need to be more confident. You miss the corner entry too often and taps the break. You lose a lot of speed when you do that, try to brake a little earlier and get the closest line to the track limit, let go off the throttle a little but dont brake during the corner, or you will shift the cars weight and oversteer
I like how the failrace team just instantly over takes the community (like me) and run their own race Edit: does anyone know a good controller settup? I want to use clutch but don't know what makes it easier
With new class based rivals I think you should run the needle hill climb and decent races in the 340r to see if you can get 1st. Me with my horrible apex's was able to achieve 4th and 6th in a 340r.
I was really bad with missing checkpoints this week and my car was not great on the straights but I’m okay with it considering it was made literally 5 minutes before the race
What I don't understand from this video How Alex's and Scotty's Fairlaides were so good, yet nozetsu's was so bad, the third race is a perfect example, the three Fairladies start at the front, Alex and Scotty just bugger off, where nozetsu just falls right through the back to DNF
LukeTheJoker I also noticed that the tires on the nozetsu’s car are smaller than on Alex or Scotty’s Fairladies. It looks like he didn’t have the grip at all. It was probably poorly built. My guess is that he put race suspension, a full weight reduction, and rally tires, and didn’t focus on the engine or the width of the tires at all.
The Z series cars were all called "Fairlady" in Japan and some other places other than the US. I had a 72 240 Z in the US and it was just called a 240 Z. In fact, the US didn't use Nissan until the very late 70's by adding "by Nissan" to the title. So a 79 280 ZX would say Datsun by Nissan.

Building the car is only half of the equation, gotta drive well or you might as well have built a riding lawnmower.
Nozetsu finished 10-11-11-12-12 in those 5 races.. so yeah I guess it's the driving skills.

Just a simple question, why are you running a spoiler/aero on a B class car? You shouldn't need it, even with the vintage tires.
It does help, maybe less so with the size of the Fairlady’s tyres but it still helps.
